Sorry for the long wait! I have been dealing with personal things. Here is the next contestant... from New Orleans, Louisiana, Patrick Roussin!
What’s your name? Patrick Roussin.
How old are you? 14.
Where do you come from? New Orleans, Louisiana. In my opinion, the most interesting American city… and I’m totally not biased.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I’m from a French American family. I’m one of two kids, I have a younger sister. I am a budding chef and baker, and I love making Cajun cuisine. Bananas Foster is my favourite dessert to ear and make, but I have to have it without alcohol for now. 4 more years, and I can get the real deal! Another interesting thing about me is that I am bilingual. I speak English and French! I can understand a bit of Louisiana Creole, but not that much, and I definitely can’t speak it, haha! I’m not all about food and culture though. I am a beast on the basketball court, and perhaps if becoming a chef doesn’t work out, I can try to become an NBA player… hopefully I can grow tall enough!
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I just wanted to take a risk and try something new. A lot of my friends were surprised that I chose to do this, as I do not have any social media other than Facebook and Instagram (yeah, I skipped Snapchat… not for me) and I rarely use those accounts. I’m generally a private person, so throwing myself on an island for the world to see is a big risk, but one I chose to take. You always need to take risks!
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? Okay, I’m embarrassed to say this, but I only watched two seasons of the show (Hawaii and High Sierras)… so I don’t have as many role models to pick from, nor am I as hardcore about the show. But I’d say Chris from Hawaii is my role model. He had a good social game and knew how to keep all the teams mostly on his side, and he was a very strong player. He also was very strategic in the partner game (albeit a little mean, can’t say I didn’t feel for Bryanah). Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do though, even if it doesn’t come across great… but he found a way to get out scot free. Smart guy.
What’s your strategy for winning this game? Simply do my best with the cards that are thrown with me. It’s like having to make a meal from scratch without instructions. You just figure out ingredients and do stuff with them until you figure out what works.
What are you looking for in a partner? A tough girl who doesn’t take trash talk from anyone. For this game, I don’t want a softy. But she better not ignore me either.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? As I said earlier, I am stepping out of my comfort zone. My goal is to feel proud of that. And I want to take my family on a vacation, since we’ve never left the USA except for one vacation to France 3 years ago.
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what he looks like) 5’7, red hair and blue eyes, slight freckles.
Stay tuned... Angela is coming up next!

As I've been following along, I can't help but wish that Endurance was airing again, with a cast as diverse as yours. It's sorely needed in times like these.
I don't have a favorite yet - it's always interesting for me to compare what people say about themselves when they're not under pressure to what people actually do when the game is on! I think I'll have to see the teams actually formed before I can pick.

With the exceptions of Aaron and maybe Erika, there's practically no way you could call the winner just by the pre-game interview. Thx for the support! I agree... to be honest, I don't even know who the winners will be yet, nor do I see any of these contestants as clear frontrunners or clear weak links yet. It's gonna be the tightest competition in Endurance history

Time to meet the 16th(!!) contestant! From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Angela Linkowski!
What’s your name? Angela Linkowski.
How old are you? I’m 15.
Where do you come from? Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I’m the second of five kids. Our house is plain, but cozy. I’ve always been a math and science geek, and my goal is to become a doctor or a scientific researcher. I’m planning to apply to Penn State University when I graduate. I’m not actually much of a sports person, but I do enjoy yoga and contemporary/modern dance. I’m pretty flexible as a result of these activities. I’m also good with kids, since I have five younger siblings. I can deal with all sorts of personalities.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I wanted to come on Endurance because I watched episodes of the show online and when they aired reruns for a while. I thought it was a great format, and reviving the show (with some Gen Z appropriate changes, of course, such as a social media presence and increased diversity in contestants) would really benefit children/teen television programming.
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? My role model on Endurance is Connor from Endurance: High Sierras (who is also my all-time Endurance crush, haha!). He was such an all-around good guy, and played with both strategy and integrity. Considering most of the other standout guys of the season were very scheming and dishonest in their tactics, he really stood out to me.
What’s your strategy for winning this game? My strategy is to try and avoid making too many enemies, but still play to win, and eliminate the people I need to in order to make it to the top. And of course, I want a good partner. Hopefully a good partner wants me!
What are you looking for in a partner? A person who is smart above all. Physical strength is important to me, but it’s the social game that really has to be kept in check. Sure, you’ll win missions by being strong, fast and agile, but anything you say or do can change people’s view of you, and make the difference in you being kept around when you don’t win or being sent to temple… and possibly going home!
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I want to feel like I was a part of something special, and that I grew as a result of it.
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what she looks like) Has long light brown hair with bangs, green eyes and pale skin. Around 5’3.
Stay tuned... Jason is coming up next!

Meet our next contestant... from Boise, Idaho, Jason Fontaine!
What’s your name? Jason Fontaine.
How old are you? I’m 15.
Where do you come from? Boise, Idaho. Personally, I think my state is underrated.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I’m the oldest of three boys in my family, and believe me, being in this family has prepared me well for Endurance. We are always doing crazy things and exploring, getting away from home. We go camping in the deep woods all the time. Mosquitoes? No problem. Spiders? No sweat. Rock climbing? I could do it in my sleep! I’m also captain of my school’s lacrosse team, and I play basketball and sail boats as well.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I’ve always been adventurous. Endurance is just like anything I’ve ever done… except I’m with a bunch of kids I don’t know, I’m on TV, and there’s a prize vacation up for grabs. Aside from those things, it’s not anything I’m not used to.
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? I don’t have one. You might be surprised to hear that. But I don’t want to copy someone else’s game style. I want to just see what works for me, and possibly create a new strategy.
What’s your strategy for winning this game? My strategy is to simply play the game like it’s a big wilderness expedition. I’m going to win missions, first of all, and then make sure to get whoever I want out, out. Also… I don’t want to get a bad team colour *cough* yellow, orange, gray *cough*
What are you looking for in a partner? I just hope she isn’t a weak player, and she’s not one of those typical teenage mean girls. Those types of girls get on my nerves.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I just want to feel more adventurous and accomplished than I do now. Hopefully I make some friends… but even if I don’t, as long as I had fun it’s cool.
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what he looks like) Native American. Has long (for a guy) black hair just a bit above the shoulders. Tanned and tall (5’11), and muscular.
Stay tuned... Eric is coming up next!

Hi everyone. I'm still working on releasing profiles and finishing them, but I have three questions you can answer!
1) Of the players revealed so far, who are your favourites (male and/or female) and why? 2) Any players you think would make a good team? Why? 3) Any players you think will make a bad team? Why?

The last three profiles are coming soon, but for now to tide you all over... time for the first official preview of the season!!
It's not revealed who says which voiceovers... it's supposed to be mysterious for now... hehehe...
Without further ado... ENDURANCE: EASTER ISLAND... THE PREVIEW.
*the screen is black before a shot of Easter Island appears* JD *voiceover*: After nearly 11 years off the air, Endurance is back!
*the contestants are seen entering and passing the Easter Island heads. Voiceovers play as they walk through*
TBA: This is my time to shine!
TBA: I feel like I’m in a dream, this is so unreal…
TBA: I’m in it to win it, everyone else better be scared.
TBA: I can’t believe I’m an Endurance contestant! It’s just like I’ve always imagined!
JD *voiceover*: For these 20 teens from all over the USA, it’s the journey of a lifetime… but this is no summer stroll on the beach.
*the scene switches to dramatic shots of the area, designed to look intimidating. More voiceovers play*
TBA: Honestly, some people are really getting on my nerves right now.
TBA: I don’t like fighting and petty drama, but I’m going to have to learn to live with it for a bit.
TBA: I can’t stand him! He’s so annoying!
TBA: If I don’t get the partner I want, this thing is rigged.
TBA: This is what it feels like when you cook without a recipe or good ingredients.
TBA: I thought I was escaping superficial people. Apparently not.
TBA: We need to win this mission, or else we’re going to temple.
TBA: I don’t know if I can trust anyone.
TBA: I swear, she can’t stop being a diva… and she’s older than me! Grow up!
TBA: Hey, it’s no time to cry!
TBA: It’s probably superstitious, but I want a strong team colour.
TBA: Aw, come on! I was looking forward to seeing them all drop like flies!
JD *voiceover*: They’re going to have to learn to get past all the challenges… because there’s a prize at stake.
*shots of contestants hugging and doing challenges, as voiceovers play*
TBA: Maybe I’m too sweet… but sweet is better than sour.
TBA: It’s the perfect setting for redemption, to show I’ve grown and improved so much. I’m a warrior now!
TBA: I have to watch my words and actions, because one misstep can send our team packing.
TBA: Remember, it’s just like a run in the woods…
*JD appears on screen to close the preview*
JD: 20 teens have arrived on Easter Island, but only 2 will overcome all the obstacles and prove they have the ultimate Endurance!
*text on the screen: ENDURANCE: EASTER ISLAND*

We’ve already got two people rooting for the guys from their states… let’s see if we get more!! Haha Put a Jersey boy in there for me if you can! Surprise theacf12 ... Our third-to-last contestant is here! From Trenton, New Jersey, meet Eric Truscott! What’s your name?Eric Truscott! How old are you? I’m 15. Where do you come from?
Trenton, New Jersey… I’m a real life Jersey Boy! Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc.I live just outside of Downtown Trenton. Life moves fast there. I’m the middle child of three kids… and I’m the only boy. Sometimes, people see me as being a bit feminine, since I love cooking and cleaning and taking care of kids and having a strong sense of style. First of all… it’s 2019, traits aren’t feminine or masculine anymore. Second of all, being raised with two sisters, and without a father (my parents divorced not long after my younger sister was born, and we never hear from my dad), I haven’t had a major male figure in my life. Along with cooking and housekeeping, I do activities such as Irish step dancing and poetry. And I am a competitive high jumper. Why did you want to come on Endurance?I want to be a role model for guys, especially guys who don’t fit the traditional “masculine” mold that the world pressures us into. Most guys I knew told me I was too feminine, and I want to go on TV and participate in this show to show other guys like me that you don’t have to be hyper masculine to be a strong boy. Who is your role model on Endurance and why?Monroe, of course! I see some qualities of myself in him. He didn’t fit the “dream boy” mold that many of the other guys on his season fit, but he proved himself a tough competitor, able to compete shoulder to shoulder with all of them. I want to be that person this season. What’s your strategy for winning this game?I’m going to make sure I make a good impression on the girls, so that they trust me and see that I could make a good partner. And I know some of the guys might suspect things about me, that I’m flirting with them, but I’ll make sure they know I’m only trying to be friendly and I want them to trust me. What are you looking for in a partner? A girl who is smart and doesn’t judge people on the superficial. And she better want to win! What do you hope to get out of this experience?I want kids to see that no matter who they are, what their lives are like, where they come from… they can accomplish crazy things and push their boundaries! Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what he looks like)Black hair, hazel eyes, pale skin. Around 5’11. Slim, but has a slight build. Usually he’s very neat and well-kept, but he’ll get messier as the game goes on. Stay tuned... our second last contestant, Michael, is coming up next!

Second-last contestant! From Boston, Massachusetts, Michael Jindal!
What’s your name? Michael Rajesh Jindal (I actually have an English first name, unlike most Indian people I know!)
How old are you? I’m 13.
Where do you come from? Boston, Massachusetts.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I’m the elder son and second child of three children. I’m Indian American, and proud to be so. Our family is pretty open minded, and they let me, my sister and my brother be our own people and don’t expect us to live up to traditional Indian expectations. However, we do celebrate some parts of our culture. All three of us have taken Indian folk dance lessons. In school, I’m actually not a math and science geek like people would think… my favourite class is gym! I’m a star sprinter at my school, and I also play soccer.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? To get out of my comfort zone and also provide much needed representation for my community. It’s 2019, and I want to make a difference.
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? I actually only watched a few episodes of Endurance… but from what I saw, Aaron from E1. He was an absolute beast in competitions, and worked so well with Jonna.
What’s your strategy for winning this game? Make sure to stay focused and not let my guard down, and have good teamwork with my partner, whoever that may be.
What are you looking for in a partner? A girl with a drive and passion to achieve goals. And not someone who stirs up drama.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I hope I had fun! Is there much else to ask for?
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what he looks like) Indian American, with short hair and light brown skin. 5’6.5. Definitely a slimmer guy, but not as slim as Daniel or Eric.
Stay tuned for the last time... our final contestant, Christina, is coming up next!
