Thanks!! There will be some major twists... some which might not be pleasing to everyone, but it's meant to be a roller coaster! (and believe me, the contestants won't like some of them either!)

I am so excited to introduce our first contestant for Endurance Returns: Easter Island! From Lansing, Michigan, meet Scott Middleton!
What’s your name?
Scott Middleton.
How old are you?
I’m 15.
Where do you come from?
Lansing, Michigan!
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc.
I live with my parents and my two older brothers. We’re an athletic family. My oldest brother plays football, my older brother plays volleyball, and I play hockey and figure skate. In my spare time, I like playing the guitar and acting. It’s such a good way to express myself.
Why did you want to come on Endurance?
I want to come on Endurance because I want to try new things and prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to. Also make new friends and see a new place. Any excuse to travel is good with me!
Who is your role model on Endurance and why?
I don’t really want to try and emulate any specific player’s gameplay. I want to take the best aspects of each and then implement my own style. However, I think the Blue team of Aaron and Jonna from Season 1 dominated their season, and I want to play as strong as them and work as well with my partner as them.
What’s your strategy for winning this game?
My strategy is to find a good partner, take advantage of physical challenges (which will be my strength), and build friendships/alliances with the other teams, so that they can trust me and I can trust them, and we have a chance of staying in the game longer.
What are you looking for in a partner?
I’m looking for someone who is cooperative, doesn’t stir up drama, is smart and friendly, and has a strong urge to win. Also someone who isn’t a backstabber!
What do you hope to get out of this experience?
I hope I can say that I made new friends, learned new things, grew as a person and was part of the revival of the greatest teen survival competition of all time! Also hopefully I can say I won a prize trip to Jamaica out of it…

Roughly 5’8, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a big smile. Slightly large nose, but it looks proportional on his particular face shape. Like a young Scott Moir (the ice dancer)?

What’s your name?
Audrey Spacek.
How old are you?
15.
Where do you come from?
Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc.
I live with my parents and five siblings (4 brothers and 1 sister), as well as three cats and nine fish. Our house has three levels, plus an attic and a basement. We all love animals, and we might buy a farm in the future. Some things I like to do include ballet, cheerleading, math, physics and fashion design. As you can see, I’m both smart and fit!
Why did you want to come on Endurance?
I wanted to go on Endurance because it’s putting myself into a very different environment. I’m used to the rush of lots of siblings, always having tons of clothing options and having makeup, running water and hair supplies at the ready whenever I need. This will be a change of pace.
Who is your role model on Endurance and why?
My role models would have to be Cealey from High Sierras and Lindi from Hawaii. Sure, maybe they weren’t the most likeable players, but they did what they needed to do and got the job done, and it paid off… they both won! I’d like to play as fiercely as they did, but hopefully I can be a little more generally likeable.
What’s your strategy for winning this game?
My strategy is to make sure people know how bad I want to win, but also to show a nice side. I don’t want to come off mean or ruthless, since then I will be perceived as a threat. But I also don’t want to come across as weak or faint-hearted. I want people to see that I am confident and I will do what it takes to come out on top.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Someone who works well with me, is strong and fit, and has a strong willpower. Wouldn’t hurt if he was nice to look at, but that’s secondary to everything else.
What do you hope to get out of this experience?
I hope to have a good experience, learn things, and make sure everyone knows not to underestimate me just because of my looks.

Around 5’3, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She’s slim and attractive, and often wears makeup. However, she does have some muscle from her regular exercise. Think Regina George from Mean Girls, but younger and more subtle.

Oh my goodness this is so insanely detailed and AMAZING. As much as I love my characters from Koror Palau, I would've died trying to write out these in-depth interviews for each of them haha! Kudos to you for the dedication! They both sound like good competitors, and the dialogue seems realistic for young teenagers so far. Really looking forward to the rest!!! |

Will Scott find his Tessa Virtue? Haha I know, there's no ice dancing in Endurance...unless you want there to be! Still, seems like he could find - and be - a good partner.
If Audrey ends up being a combination of Lindi/Cealey/Regina George, I will be praying for her comeuppance the whole time. If she wins a mission because she's better than everyone else at math and physics, though, I'll have to give her major credit for that.

My name’s Justin Whitney.

I’m 13 years old.
Where do you come from?
I come from Memphis, Tennessee. Best city in the USA!
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc.
I live with my mom, my dogs (Cooper the lab, Otis the pug and Strawberry the Maltese) and my cat (Milo the orange tabby). We’re a very happy family. I love to walk my dogs and teach them to do tricks (Milo’s too lazy to learn tricks). Other things I like to do include playing basketball, singing, playing the guitar and acting. I’m both artistic and athletic. If I could bring my guitar to Easter Island, you could bet there would be a lot of campfire country songs!
Why did you want to come on Endurance?
I’ve been a big fan of Endurance since I watched the old seasons online. It seemed like such an awesome opportunity to get out and explore the world while learning and developing important life skills. Plus, being on TV is so cool!
Who is your role model on Endurance and why?
My role model would have to be the legendary Monroe from Endurance: Hawaii. He is the epitome of Endurance. The guy had to put his blood, sweat and “STOP IT!!!”s into making it as far as he did. If only he and Bryanah could have won against Gray at Temple, and beaten Orange in the finale, that would have been the perfect ending! Dang I wish that happened… Honourable mention to Tom from the same season, since our strategies are similar. Haha!
What’s your strategy for winning this game?
My strategy is to, in Tom’s words, “Make friends with the guys and flirt with the ladies.” And of course, work hard, cooperate with my partner, and know when to make big moves and when to hold back.
What are you looking for in a partner?
I’m looking for someone who is nice, smart, strong, and has what it takes to win Endurance. Also, I hope she doesn’t drool over any of the other guys too much.
What do you hope to get out of this experience?
I hope to feel that I’ve accomplished something, make friends, and have the knowledge that I am capable of anything, even surviving in a remote location. And maybe I can get a long-distance girlfriend out of it. That wouldn’t be bad at all… am I being too girl-crazy? Sorry…

"Watching old seasons of Endurance online" is a believable way for these kids to find out about/come to love the show! Justin sounds... interesting haha. He's really playing up the Endurance references in his interview. He also made himself sound a wee bit hypocritical, saying he doesn't want a partner who flirts with other guys before proceeding to talk about wanting a girlfriend. Lol
