Time to meet the next contestant! I'm on a roll, so why stop now? From Atlanta, Georgia, welcome Anthony King!
What’s your name? Anthony King, Jr.
How old are you? 14.
Where do you come from? Atlanta, Georgia.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I live with my parents and my older brother Abe. My biggest passion by far is football. I’ve been playing football since I was eight. I’m currently on my school’s football team as a quarterback.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? To be honest… my brother dared me. I didn’t even know about the show until he showed it to me and said I would be a good fit for it. Initially, I was apprehensive, but then I decided to accept his dare after watching more episodes and finding the whole process intriguing.
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? See, I haven’t watched enough of the show to really have a role model. And maybe that’s better for me. That way, rather than emulating someone else, I develop gameplay strategies completely on my own. It feels like more of an accomplishment, creating ways to survive without copying someone else.
What’s your strategy for winning this game? I want to lay low at first, and act uninterested so people don’t think I’m a threat. Then, when the time is right, I’m going to spring up and show my true strengths. Everyone will be stunned! I’m especially gonna shine in strength competitions. Playing football builds up muscle!
What are you looking for in a partner? The strongest, fiercest and best girl. Isn’t that a given? But I’ll cooperate with whoever I get, since I doubt I will get that lucky.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? New life skills, new friends and great stories to tell for years to come. And hey, if I win, my brother will know he can’t beat me with dares! Hey Abe, just you watch… I’m gonna win!
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what he looks like) African-American, tall at 6’0. Muscular, but still slender.
I hope you enjoyed meeting Anthony, as well as the previous 3 contestants. Stay tuned... Jessica is coming up next!

"Watching old seasons of Endurance online" is a believable way for these kids to find out about/come to love the show! Justin sounds... interesting haha. He's really playing up the Endurance references in his interview. He also made himself sound a wee bit hypocritical, saying he doesn't want a partner who flirts with other guys before proceeding to talk about wanting a girlfriend. Lol That's curious. Maybe he's worried that it might take their focus away from the game? Kind of like what Jeszie suspected of Isaac on E4. Also, I really like this from Ashley's biography. "Around 5’3, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She’s slim and attractive, and often wears makeup. However, she does have some muscle from her regular exercise. Think Regina George from Mean Girls, but younger and more subtle. " Hmm, could we be seeing another villain? Or anti-villain? Can't wait!

Or something like the first elimination of Endurance Hawaii where Bryanah didn't want to send Chris because she liked him... I doubt anyone wants to have to think about that lol. And who knows? Audrey definitely seems to look like the mean girl a la Nicole, Sabrina, and her surprising choice of role model Cealey... we shall see!! *wink wink*

Hey everyone! Yes, I am now on a roll. Everyone, welcome contestant #5... from Honolulu, Hawaii, Jessica Tang!
What’s your name? Jessica Tang, my Chinese name is Tang Wai-yee.
How old are you? I’m 14.
Where do you come from? I’m from sunny Honolulu, Hawaii!
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I live with my parents and my younger sister, Elizabeth. We are very proud of our Chinese heritage. In my spare time, I enjoy learning languages and studying world history and cultures. I’ve come to see that the world is a lot bigger than my island, and it’s so amazing to dive into learning about it. I also like playing the piano and guitar, and singing. And I write a lot too. I’m planning to keep a diary while I’m on Endurance.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I’ve been avidly watching Endurance since I was just a toddler. Since then, I’ve rewatched seasons on the Internet. Even though years have passed since the original show ended, it still feels like such a timeless concept. I was always a little sad that I’d never be able to apply for the show. But now, I’m on it! I guess dreams really can and do come true!
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? Bryanah from Endurance: Hawaii, hands down. She went through so much… getting bumped from the partner she wanted and ending up with the partner she didn’t want, and having almost all the girls against her for no clear solid reason… yet she stuck it out, learned to work with her partner (who turned out to be a powerhouse), won missions and in the end made it to the final three despite a bleak beginning. To me, that’s true Endurance. If only she had been able to top it off with a sweet final victory!
What’s your strategy for winning this game? My strategy is to be myself, present myself well, find a great partner and hopefully align with the right people. Of course, I have to keep an open mind since my strategy may have to change depending on how the game plays out.
What are you looking for in a partner? As long as he is kind to me and passionate about the game, everything else will probably fall by the wayside. I’d like him to be smart and focused as well. And hopefully he’s more athletic than me!
What do you hope to get out of this experience? Just being part of Endurance is something I will always be proud of. Still, I hope that I can gain confidence, resilience and bravery out of this experience. And if I win and get a prize vacation out of it, even better!
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what she looks like) She is short at around 5’2. Chinese American, with wavy dark hair, almond shaped eyes, and medium skin tone. She is attractive, but a more subtle and exotic type of beauty than the All-American looks of Audrey.
Tell me what you think of the first five contestants. Stay tuned... Emily is coming up next!

Anthony is giving me some vague Scooter vibes in the way he talks, just significantly less... "involved", I suppose. Jessica seems really awesome and adorable based on her intro! We'll have to see what the game brings, of course, but having Bryanah as her Endurance Role Model is definitely a good choice.

I do see some Scooter qualities in Anthony, Anthony's just slightly less ruthless (probably since he doesn't know Endurance too well, new fan lol). And yes, Jessica definitely has her mind in a good place and has a great choice of role model (not even a super obvious pick). Plus, she's another one for the superfan-turned-competitor squad!

I could imagine Anthony being a wild card--he may go the "Scooter" route as you mentioned, because he seems a bit, controlling and competitive? but I could also see him as a good partner. I agree on Jessica! She reminds me of Chelsea with her charm (though I hope she is a bit more competitive. )

Time to say hello to the sixth contestant! From Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Emily Whitecloud!
What’s your name? Emily Whitecloud.
How old are you? 13.
Where do you come from? Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I live with my parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. We’re of mostly Lakota descent, something that we are very proud of. We lead a very active lifestyle. I’m on a number of sports teams, I play soccer, badminton, volleyball and basketball. I have ambitions to become a doctor when I grow up. I find anatomy, genetics and health so fascinating!
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I wanted to come on Endurance as a test of my skill. I want to see how far I can push myself, and if I have what it takes to win this show. Personally, I think I can win… with the right partner, of course!
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? Erika from Endurance Tehachapi. She was a beast! Definitely the strongest girl in her season, possibly the strongest girl (at least physically) on Endurance of all time. She won challenges, played a good social game, and overall showed that she had what it took to survive in a harsh environment. It’s my goal to play at least half the game she did, if not more.
What’s your strategy for winning this game? My strategy is simple: play hard and be kind. I’m not going to hold back, I’m going to go full force from the get go, because laying low can make you a target. I want to win as many missions as possible to ensure my safety, and eliminate teams that could be threats. However, I will also mind my social game, and make sure to be nice to people so that they can trust me.
What are you looking for in a partner? I want someone who I have things in common with, but they should also contrast me a bit. I’m the “strong but silent” type as my family has called me. So I’m looking for a more easy going type guy who enjoys a good laugh and can bring out the less tough and more gentle side of me. But he better know how to play the game!
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I hope to feel that I am stronger than I am now, and that I have grown as a person. Isn’t that all anyone can ask for?
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what she looks like) 5’5. Tanned skin, very long and straight dark hair (that she sometimes pulls back or braids to avoid it getting in the way). Not necessarily part of her appearance, but she always wears a traditional Lakota necklace given to her by a relative unless it might be a challenge hazard.
Tell me your thoughts on Emily. Stay tuned... Allison is coming up next!

Here is the seventh contestant! From Monterey Park, California, meet Allison Lee!
What’s your name? Allison Lee. I also have a Korean name, Lee Hye-rim. And sometimes I go by Allie for short.
How old are you? I’m 14.
Where do you come from? Monterey Park, California!
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I’m a third-generation Korean American. I live with my parents, my 12-year old brother Dylan, and our pug Pickles. Our family is pretty busy, but we enjoy taking the time to be together. We’re always baking muffins and cupcakes and cookies! I work as a writer for my school’s newspaper, and am also part of track and field team as a sprinter, yearbook committee as an editor and show choir as a soprano. I’m a pretty busy gal!
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I found out about Endurance as a result of being a big K-pop fan. Alex from Endurance Hawaii (who I wish could have lasted longer!) was in a K-pop group, RaNia, and I found about the show through that connection. I watched every season online and fell in love with it! As soon as I heard it was coming back, I had to go for it.
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? Monroe… of course! The guy realized his dream of being on his favourite show, only to suddenly be the black sheep, with none of the girls wanting him as a partner. Despite this, he remained focused and didn’t let it get to him. He ended up learning to work with his partner and he grew on her, and proved to arguably be one of the strongest guys in the bunch despite his nerdy appearance. With everyone else against him, he still fought to get to final three, and became possibly the most legendary player in Endurance history. If I can have even half as epic of a journey and half as much of a legacy, I’ll say I accomplished something. He is still a legend to this day! GO MONROE!
What’s your strategy for winning this game? My strategy is simple: kindness and grit mixed together. I don’t want to come across as a mean girl, but I don’t want to come across weak and wishy washy either. I want to be a balance of sugar and spice. And of course, win missions and build trust so hopefully I don’t go to temple.
What are you looking for in a partner? Someone with a great personality and strength and stamina to boot. And hopefully someone who is logical and smart and knows what he’s doing. He can’t play dumb either, acting dumb doesn’t work for me here!
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I want to be more confident and feel more fit. I’ve dealt with quite a bit of insecurity as a result of past experiences, and doing this and putting myself out there will hopefully bring confidence back to me and be an almost therapeutic experience, relieving me of the past.
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what she looks like) Korean American, and short at only 5’1. She wears black rimmed glasses. Straight long black hair that parts a bit off the center. Almond shaped brown eyes. I kinda based her appearance off myself a bit lol.
Stay tuned... Caleb is coming up next!

Emily with having Erika as a role model on the show? I'm hooked on this already. And I want to see her become a fan-favorite; however, who knows what her strategy may become?
And Allison sounds charming, albeit a little bit too much like Jessica. Maybe they'll make quite the alliance?

Let's give it up for the eighth contestant! From Salt Lake City, Utah, meet Caleb McConnell!
What’s your name? I’m Caleb McConnell.
How old are you? 13.
Where do you come from? Salt Lake City, Utah.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I come from a big family of ten children. I am the fourth child. Our family enjoys camping, road trips and cooking. We also enjoy doing missions and serving in our church. We often go to watch the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform. Some other things I love to do include playing baseball and soccer, doing science experiments, solving crossword puzzles and making papier-mâché.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I wanted to come on Endurance because I want to improve myself. I’ve been on a mission to improve myself, physically and mentally for the past year, and what better way to test myself than going on such a tough show to win?
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? I have too many. Aside from the obvious villains, I think everyone was a great player and had good strategy. I guess I’ll have to do a little more research before I head to Easter Island so I have a clear role model at the ready, haha!
What’s your strategy for winning this game? Win missions. Duh. Okay, okay, I’ll expand a little more… start by making sure I get the right partner, no matter what it takes. Then, I’ll make sure to form alliances with people who will either take me to the end at any cost and keep our secrets, or people that make me look good in comparison, so that we don’t become targets. And then of course, winning missions. I also have a strategy for temple, but I don’t wanna give it away… hmmm…
What are you looking for in a partner? I need a girl who’s a beast! Someone strong-willed, determined, fit, smart… I need the best of the best. But no way will that happen most likely, so plan B… a cooperative person. Much more simple and easy to find.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I hope to feel that I truly have improved myself over the past year. And I want that trip to Jamaica, of course!
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what he looks like) Blue eyes and dirty blonde, well maintained hair. Around 5’9.
Stay tuned... Ryan is coming up next!

I am so happy you got somebody from Utah!!! WOOT!! I also love that you mention missions so casually as if they do it everyday!! xD AMAZING!! Just hoping he doesn't get out in the RTS. Lol Caleb's probably been secretly been practicing for the RTS by trying to hold onto columns in the Salt Lake tabernacle without slipping!

Time to meet our next contestant. From Seattle, Washington, say hello to Ryan Park!
What’s your name? Ryan Minwoo Park.
How old are you? 14 years old.
Where do you come from? I come from the great city of Seattle, Washington, and I’m proud of it.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I’m the youngest and only son of three kids. I’m an avid writer and I’m actually planning to start up a blog in the near future. I also love badminton, photography, playing the violin and flute and reading history books. Another thing that is very important for me is church. We’re devout Roman Catholics, and my faith is something that I can always lean back on. And I go to Korean classes every Saturday for three hours, so I can maintain my Korean skills and learn more about my heritage.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I wanted to come on Endurance because I am all about growing and trying new things. Also, since I started watching the show a little over a year ago, I’ve just loved the idea of kids having to use skills like teamwork, friendship, heart, strategy, knowledge and more to achieve the impossible. That’s such a great message to send to us young people of today, many of whom are stuck in the superficial. Not hating, just stating!
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? Definitely either Monroe from E3 or Daniela from E4. Both were superfans whose dreams came true… only to be stuck with a rocky beginning. Despite often being in less-than-ideal situations, they figured out ways to turn it around and make the most of it, and it paid off for both of them.
What’s your strategy for winning this game? There’s one thing that holds me back… I’m not the most tough guy out there. I’m healthy, but I’m probably shorter and less muscular than most of the other guys. However, what I lack in size and strength, I make up for in smarts. I definitely am a force to be reckoned with, and knowledge and strategy based missions will be my forte. No one will want to mess with me there! And this might not be seen as a strategy, but praying every day to stay grounded and not get too caught up in the game. Knowing there’s something bigger than all of this helps me for sure.
What are you looking for in a partner? Someone who’s willing to take a chance on a bit of a wildcard. And someone with a good social and physical game.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? Everything it takes to have true endurance. And a lot of new friends and newfound confidence. Really, I feel fulfilled already. But since I can have more, I’ll go for more!
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what he looks like) Around 5’8. He resembles Mark Lee from the Korean boyband NCT, with black hair and glasses. Slim, but still has a slight build. Like a Korean American cross between the nerd and the boy next door.
Hope you have enjoyed meeting the contestants so far. Stay tuned... Sofia is coming up next!

It seems like Caleb may have a surprisingly ruthless style of gameplay. Like he has an "I'll do whatever it takes to win" kind of mentality; he also mentioned Endurance villains when asked about his role models. Also, for some reason I feel like these kids are soooo tall haha. Maybe it's just psychological on my part, but when I think of 13-15 year olds I imagine them being like between 5'0-5'8 lmao. It's probably just me, though

Super excited to introduce the tenth contestant! Halfway there! From Laredo, Texas, Sofia Fernandez-Grimaldi!
What’s your name? Sofia Carmen Fernandez-Grimaldi.
How old are you? 14.
Where do you come from? Laredo, Texas.
Tell us about yourself, what you’re like, the things you enjoy, your family, etc. I’m half Mexican and half Italian. I am trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. I have is a huge family, I’m the youngest of five and I have tons of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, plus I still have all of my grandparents and great grandparents living. Outside of family and school, I’m part of a hip hop dance troupe in my hometown, and dancing is a huge part of who I am. Whenever I’m down, I know dancing will help me feel better. I also love cooking and gymnastics. I can cook lots of Mexican and Italian food, something I learned from my parents and grandparents. And I took gymnastics classes until I was 13, and I continue to practice in my spare time.
Why did you want to come on Endurance? I wanted to come on Endurance because my older brother, Julian, was a big fan of the show. He grew up watching Endurance. He’s now too old to go on the show (24 years old now) but I promised him I would compete and win the show for him. Don’t go thinking I have no desire of my own though, I love the concept and message of Endurance and I’m glad they brought the show back for Gen Z!
Who is your role model on Endurance and why? My role model on Endurance is Jonna Mannion. She showed incredible leadership from the get-go when she made the partner list. Sure, it didn’t completely go to plan, but most of it was accurate and it wasn’t her fault that the list didn’t work. She was always honest, had good intentions, was a great strategic player and didn’t back down even when facing bullying. What’s not to love?
What’s your strategy for winning this game? My strategy for winning is to use my physical training to my advantage, focus on the game, avoid getting caught up in drama, and make sure my partner does the same.
What are you looking for in a partner? I’m looking for a confident, charming, hardworking, passionate and determined partner. I also want him to be cooperative and listen to me well.
What do you hope to get out of this experience? I hope to bring a new life to this show, and gain new life skills. Also, I’ll gain some wonderful stories, that I can’t wait to tell to friends and family for years to come!
Physical appearance (not part of the profile, but I included so you get a sense of what she looks like) 5’2. Olive skin, black wavy hair and rounded, big (but not too big) brown eyes. Southern European appearance (being half Mexican and half Italian).
Stay tuned... Daniel is coming up next!

I have been busy with preparing for driver's ed and junior year course selection, but Daniel's profile will be up ASAP!
Also, if this is successful, I'm already preparing for a possible second season (would be considered eighth in the full Endurance timeline lol).
