#33: Reece Bors (E3)I originally wasn't going to eliminate Reece but the more I thought about it, the more I realized he really didn't do much at all to affect the game. Of course I remember his legendary "Monroe, you're a beast!", but as far as actual gameplay itself... what did he do? He mostly just went along with whatever his alliance was planning, and he was pretty good in physical challenges, but not much of a strategist. I do think he deserved to make final four, but I can't say much else about him. That's as well as I can remember, at least, as it's been quite a while since I've seen Hawaii. Interesting choice. I also remembered him giving the turn in "Squaring Off" to the Yellow Team, but it didn't matter in the end, because Orange ended up winning it all. Anyways, in hindsight, I think that the Purple Team, to some extent, were pawns of the Gray Team on E3.

I think that Reece is an iconic Endurance player, but it's true that when you think about it he didn't do that much in terms of the game. But every girl LOOOOOVED them some Reece. Lol

#32 Jonathan Young (E6)
*By the way, sorry about the lengthy delay, just had a lot of stuff to do lately. Anyway, back to the countdown...
The most notable thing about Jonathan is that he screamed "Run Hannah" during one of the Endurance Missions. He and his team were in a tertiary alliance with Orange and Green, until someone spotted the two teams plotting. They then won the second (or first) tier of the Temple mission, and also won the last matchup, but got the bad luck draw when their stone was drawn. Other than him yelling at Hannah, he wasn't that bad of a guy. I think that Red could have won the entire game if they made it into the final.

#31: Scooter Magruder (Endurance 2) This is actually getting super hard! Upon first glance at the remaining players, Scooter is an obvious outlier as everyone else (besides one other person) made it to the final 3 while Scooter, in fact, was one of the first three teams eliminated in his season. That's really why I'm cutting him at this point. I feel like his impact on the game could have been monumental, but the fact of the matter is he didn't last too long on Endurance 2. Still, his storyline was very important as it set up alliances within E2 that prompted one of the closest alliances on Endurance (Green/Yellow/Brown vs. everyone else). We actually got to know Scooter as a person quite well despite his short stay. He seemed very confident in himself, almost to the point of cockiness, and definitely had something to prove. From being the last person hanging on during the right to stay to his scuffle with Max during On The Ropes, Scooter was always showing that he was someone to be contended with. And, like I said, if hadn't gone out in sixth place he would have had a huge impact on the season, but unfortunately (but fortunately for Brown) he did make an early exit. And now he's a cool guy who makes viral videos!

@firetruck421: That's an interesting choice there. I thought Jenna had a lot more influence in some way due to her friendships with Keetin and Calley. Together, they made quite the alliance. But I do agree that Max had a lot of influence as an individual; a lot of us remember that Jenna was quite the funky chick, in the words of Bryan!
Speaking of Endurance 2:
#29: Annie Kim (Endurance 2)
Oh Annie. I loved her so much as a contestant, because she was a strong contestant in the challenges and had a cool attitude about her. On the one hand, she made her mark through those aspects, and that got the Purple Team quite far. On the other hand, other than the challenges, and the comments here and there, her only highlight was her conflict with Calley. That was the moment in which everyone pivoted with her or against her amongst the fanbase, even though she was against the Brown Team. In conclusion, Annie was a remarkable contestant on her own right, but could've done more strategy-wise.

#28: Jon Crocilla (E1) We all have vivid memories of Jon from season 1! Jon seemed like a good guy, and I respected him not only for his strength in challenges but also as a player/person; though when it comes down to it, my reason for eliminating him is because his relationships to the other players are some of the biggest standouts of his time on Endurance for me. (his partnership & disagreements with Sabrina's aggressive strategies, his "relationship" with Ashley towards the end) Such an excellent player, though, and as you guys have already said - it's getting incredibly hard to eliminate!!!!!

First of all, I know...we're going to have a difficult time deciding the top ten! Second, it's intriguing that you eliminated Jon this soon. While I agree that Jon's role on E1 was mostly based on his relationships, I do want to point out something: had he not suggested otherwise, what were the odds Sabrina would've given the Samadhi to Red? Anyways, Sabrina and Jon were extremely close as partners, and Sabrina said she never lied to Jon; she told him everything, so...

#27 Demian Martinez (E3)
Out of the Orange team, one of the least deserving teams to be in the final two, IMO, Demian had very little impact, outside of his constant arguments with Nicole, on what was basically a one-person team (not counting Brown team). Unlike Reece before him, Demian was dragged into whatever shenanigans Nicole had planned for their team.

Bryan, your turn!
And as for Demian's elimination, what was more interesting was that he brought on these challenges all onto himself.

#26: Kelsey Schultz (Endurance: High Sierras) Sorry Kelsey, but you did get a second chance in this rankdown! Don't get my wrong, I loved Kelsey and I thought she was a great addition to her season. She also has the distinction of being Endurance's 100th contestant (since she and Garret were the last two cast for E5). She was a good player and had a lot of compassion for her fellow contestants. It's really hard to cut her, but I just think that taking the overall impact of everyone left in the rankdown, I just think she is the least integral of everyone left. She is a great addition to E5, but I can see E5 still going on without her... ya know?

@firetruck421 : Good call. I know Ashley was one of the most beloved contestants on E1; I especially noted how she wanted to target the Blue Team in "Waterlogged", and intended to give them the Samadhi at first opportunity.
#24: Michelle Durand (Endurance 2):
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Michelle's time on Endurance 2. I think that her determination to win made the season special, and was probably one of the only reasons Orange made it further than possible, considering their rough start. At the same time, she mostly laid low in terms of social gameplay except during Aqueduct; even then, it was Tyler who made the decision to throw out the Samadhi. On the other hand, one can note her friendship with Annie and how it gave them all of their pieces when Purple was eliminated, albeit for only one day. In challenges, Michelle was rather weak (Tower of Power and Fireball), but seemed to improve over time, climaxing in Aqueduct. She made it this far because of her characterization on Endurance 2...though her gameplay does her in now.

Last two eliminations were really well-stated and I couldn't agree more! Now I feel like we're getting to a point where eliminating is near-impossible and things could easily go any way...
#23: Hannah Gross (E6) I consider Red to be the most iconic team from Fiji, despite the challenge/strategic beasts on the Green team. Hannah tended to rub some people the wrong way with her attitude, plus she wasn't very reasonable when Jonathan tried to sit down & calmly talk out their problems. But all of her snarky eyerolls and fiery comebacks made her a really entertaining and engaging player to watch (one of my favorites from the season)! She overcame a lot as well, particularly once she realized that her best friends in the game had been maintaining a secret alliance behind her back. At that point, the determination she displayed by making up with her partner and getting her head in the game was respectable. I will forever be upset about the final 3 twist that sent Red up to temple when they would have made the finale in any other season (r.i.p me). They were definitely underdogs in their own right, but in this case they actually also had a bit of power to go with it because of Hannah's ties with the other girls.

Ughhhh I wanted to use my lifesaver on Michelle! But I understand why she was cut... to me, she was the underrated star of E2.
And I've come around to Hannah over the years. I used to hate her for the way she treated Briana (and I still don't like it) but she really was a super interesting and dynamic character

#22 Will Cuddy (E6)
I know that Will and Caleb, and to a lesser extent, Jonathan were in an alliance with each other and it looked like at one point, all three of their teams would be the last ones standing, but Green pulled a shocker on Orange at the ToF, and somehow ended up making it to the final two, despite ending up with more coconuts than the Red team, who won the challenge. But despite their advantage, they fell to Blue in, IMO, one of the biggest Endurance upsets of the entire series.
Word on the street is that Will and Lauren had a bit of a showmance as well, but not like Dakota and Cealey of the prior season.

Okay guys! Here's the deal. I think we can do one more round of regular cuts, and then we'll start moving into our final round. For that final round, everyone will PM me a list of the people remaining in the rankdown. I will take everyone's lists and average them together to see round out our final ~16 (I think? math is hard and I'm tired). Anyway that's for the next round anyway so just cut people like normal this round.
#21: Aaron Thornburg (Endurance 1) Aaron was the all-American boy from Bozeman who was really great at capturing snakes (!)... and winning missions. Aaron was definitely portrayed as a calm, chill dude who almost anyone could get along with. He and Jonna made amazing partners and watching them perform in missions together was almost like magic. They could almost read each other's minds in a way (side note: out of everyone that I'm disappointed Jonna didn't keep in contact with, Aaron [and Ashley] are the two I'm most upset about). And Aaron was just a beast, man. He could always be counted on in challenges to do his best and that's what made him half of the winningest team in Endurance history. Of course, there's also something I've neglected to mention until now... his relationship with Sabrina. Poor Aaron found himself getting manipulated by Sabrina throughout the entire season. I think everyone felt bad for him, both the audience and his fellow Endurance players because everyone EXCEPT him could see that Sabrina was leading him on. I think Aaron was an inherently good guy and wanted to believe Sabrina had honest intentions but unfortunately he kind of got screwed over by being such a good guy. Either way, Aaron definitely made an impact as being one of the most successful teams in Endurance history and involved in a huge Endurance scandal with Sabrina. Why am I cutting him over other people? His personality perhaps wasn't as outgoing and vibrant as others, and I feel like everyone else would be more memorable to someone who isn't an Endurance superfan.
