Whoops, you're right! It was Partner Selection! As I said, I respected his athletic abilities and you guys did mention some things that I didn't think about; but I guess the fact that I didn't think about them kind of solidifies my point for eliminating him at #48 I think he would have been a great player, though, had he lasted a bit longer. (and Avalon High was a fantastic DCOM! Hahaha) Better yet, the game would have changed had Yellow beaten Red at the ToF. I'm in the minority here, but Yellow E4 was one of my favorite Endurance teams. First of all--I think if Yellow remained in the game, they probably would have a mission win or two. The Purple/Green/Yellow alliance would be much stronger and all of them would make it to the final three. However, we have to take into account Chris and his behavior, so they could be eliminated before then... And good call in eliminating Jackie. I don't remember much of her besides of her tirade against Green and trying to save Blue.

#46: Tyler Burkhalter (Endurance 2) Woah, it's getting difficult to eliminate people now! I decided to cut Tyler because he was more of a background character among E2's final 4 and also it was Michelle that really propelled Orange as far as they went. I mean... Tyler wanted to go home for the first several episodes! He was a little bit of a Debbie Downer to be honest - wanting to be sent to Temple, hating being partnered with Michelle ("'Are these real coconuts?' WHO CARES?!"), and just generally not seeming to care. It seemed like a waste of a spot for him to be there. But at the end of the day, he turned around on his opinions because towards the end of the game he made a comment that was along the lines of Michelle deserved to win the game the most because she had the most heart and passion. It was gratifying seeing him change his mind and start trying hard for her sake, and that he seemed to be enjoying his time on the beach more than the first week. Tyler also is notable for competing with diabetes and, of course, coming up with the idea to throw out the Samadhi at the final 4. In the end, his scheme worked because Purple awarded Orange all their pieces even if Orange was eliminated at the next Temple. Overall though, we didn't get to know Tyler as well as some of the other contestants on E2 and I have to take him down a couple of notches for his attitude at the beginning of the game.
Sorry for the delay!

@firetruck421: Yes, that moment was iconic, especially with Trevor saying, "We've won something!" Not to mention how he pointed out in the reunion, "I'll just stay as far away from [Lana] as I can until the mission."
Personally, I thought Trevor was sort of there; at the same time, he decided his own partner (remember when he pointed at Lana when Max caught the green ball?) and defeating Gray at Temple. Otherwise...
#44: Lilly Brown (Endurance: High Sierras)
I think I could speak for most of us here when I say Lilly was one of my favorite contestants that season. From the RTS, where she was the first to make it back to shore without falling once, to her general good nature, she represented a lot. And that's where the story stops here, because even after the partner selection, where she could've easily beat Dakota and changed the entire teams, she was more of a background character with a lot of potential. Even when she showed her skills during missions, they were futile, especially after Yellow returned to Temple in "Walk the Plank". So basically, Lilly made a huge impact in how we perceived her; in the game herself, we only saw potential.
IF only the Green/Yellow/Blue superteam won the mission!

#43: Shea Thomas (E4) "I felt like I came here and didn't do as much as the other people. I mean we tried our hardest, don't get me wrong, but we never got to win anything." I think this quote from Shea himself is a pretty accurate summary of his time on the show. He did try his hardest, and speaking up about wanting Amelia as his partner paid off for him in the beginning; but ultimately, he ended up being more of a background player for a lot of the season.

#42: Lana Neiman (E1)
I don't remember a lot from the first season of Endurance, but what I do know about Lana is that she did not like Trevor very much, if at all. Somehow, they were able to overcome their differences to win a mission in the Final Four. I wonder how the game would have changed had Green ended up winning a third time at the Temple of Fate. Would they have fused together as a team and possibly pulled off an upset?

Wow, sorry guys for taking so long!!
#41: Caleb Courtney (Endurance: Fiji) Sorry, Endurance Fiji fans, but it's my least favorite among the seasons as I find it the least memorable overall. I feel like this is as far as I can take Caleb, considering there's similar people to him but they were in more memorable seasons. Caleb to me was actually a really cool guy. Going into the season, I thought he would be a stereotypical meathead/jock type but I remember him being compassionate and funny. Still, he was a part of the wretched Orange/Green alliance (maybe "wretched" is too strong a term, but I never liked that alliance at all!). Overall, I think if Fiji had been a little bit better/longer of a season then Caleb had potential to go further in this rankdown, but there are just others I feel deserve a top 40 spot over him.

Sorry, Endurance Fiji fans HAHA! Was there ANY?! xD (JK, love Fiji, but definitely not one of my favorites.) I third that statement! E1-E5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> E6. And sometimes I forget it exists. And @firetruck421 : good call on eliminating Christian. I solely remember him for his hair, threatening anybody who pours water in his bucket to Temple in "Waterlogged", and pointing out how Sabrina manipulates people. The girls certainly ruled E1. #39: Franke Sisto (Endurance: Tehachapi)Endurance's best comedian--from getting seaweed in places he never knew existed, to complaining how "it's an agonizing minute, sir" to everywhere else in between, he lightened up the place which wasn't otherwise emphasized. And he maintained strong friendships with people such as Shea, but other than his involvement in "Spin Fly" and getting the majority of the pieces, he doesn't seem to influence much of the game through much of his talents. Most notably, in Hang 5, he struggled oh so much with the challenge, and let go first in "Circle of Trust". We got to know him very well--yes, with all his humor and his close partnership with Erika. But as a strategist, that was non-existent. (P.S. Please forgive me for this decision--in addition, as we are in the top 40, it starts to get very hard.)

#38: Calley Payne (E2) I've always been able to sympathize with Calley somewhat (I feel like a lot of the tension between her & Annie was due to misinterpretation of what was said, along with some preconceived judgements on Annie's part) but it's true that she was a bit of a natural handicap for herself & Shep in the physical challenges. She is definitely memorable, but unfortunately I can't say much for her gameplay at all.

#37 Jordyn Barbato (E6)
I didn't watch very much of Endurance Fiji, but what I did gather from the season was that the Blue team had an alliance with Purple once Yellow got knocked out, then they beat Purple at the ToF. They were the last team standing against the triad of Red-Orange-Green. I don't remember much about Jordyn, other than Ben criticized her in the finale for being too slow or something. To be honest, either of the Blue team members could fit in this category because neither was very memorable at all IMO.

#36: Sarah Baker (Endurance: Hawaii) Sarah was a pleasant surprise during Hawaii, because on the outside she appeared to be a total girly-girl with her preppy clothes and blonde hair, but she actually came out and proved to be a lot tougher than she appeared and Purple was certainly a strong team. What I did like about Sarah was how unapologetic she was about her girly-girl-ness but also how well she adapted to living in the rough conditions. You can tell that when she stepped into the game, she knew almost nothing of what she was getting herself into ("I won! I won!... the thingy!") yet she endured the missions and the rain and the mud and became friends with a lot of people. She was never really a main character, but she was someone you could silently root for and I appreciate that. The reason I am cutting her now is because I feel like we're starting to get down to the more iconic Endurance players, the ones that you think about when you think of Endurance. And while Sarah was a lovely individual and part of Hawaii's amazing cast, she isn't particularly iconic.

#34: Kelsey Schultz (Endurance: High Sierras)
I honestly was torn between Cealey, Jeszie, and her in terms of this spot, but out of the three, she curiously stood out the least. Surely, she was chosen by Darci to skip the right to stay, and looked like a competitor to beat (especially because she was the 100th contestant in Endurance History). Compared to her teammate, however, Kelsey didn't do too many strategic maneuvers. I clearly remember her falling first in "Hanging Around", and not making much impact in the rest of the challenges. Nevertheless, like Amelia, Kelsey was known for her social game: her friendship with Cealey not only represented how close they become on E5, but also helped the two teams make it to the finale. And in addition, she did tell Taylor about Max's lie before Temple, and was close with her. So while she was significant, she wasn't as memorable as others on that season.

Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow! I actually thought that some people would end up calling against Franke when I eliminated him. Haha. Anyways, here it goes! #34: Ben Scheuer (Endurance: Fiji)While the Blue Team was arguably the nicest team out of the six champions, they were also the least deserving. Ben played a role in both of them because of his chill demeanor, and was the reason why Blue won their only (half) mission of the season. Plus I remember him saying in the finale, "If we got one more clue we would've jumped over that cliff." Overall, good call on firetruck421's part, because Ben's role on E6 amounted to a blip.

#33: Reece Bors (E3) I originally wasn't going to eliminate Reece but the more I thought about it, the more I realized he really didn't do much at all to affect the game. Of course I remember his legendary "Monroe, you're a beast!", but as far as actual gameplay itself... what did he do? He mostly just went along with whatever his alliance was planning, and he was pretty good in physical challenges, but not much of a strategist. I do think he deserved to make final four, but I can't say much else about him. That's as well as I can remember, at least, as it's been quite a while since I've seen Hawaii.
