Rollerball:
--Michelle: "I want to win, because that will give me more respect." --This is the second season in a row where the Orange Team received the first Samadhi of the season. --All three members of the Green-Yellow-Brown alliance had one ball. --If you looked at the boards after Green won, Yellow was really close! --It's funny how J.D. refers to Mike as "Michael". --The mission was quite cool; it took strategy and teamwork--I kind of warmed up to it. --In one of the interviews, Max's shirt was so light, it almost looked orange. --Calley (when Mike asked if anybody would be angry if they sent their team up): "I'd be mad; I'd break our alliance right here, right now." Ouch! Apparently, nobody wants another "Give it to the next team you want to betray" kind-of note. --Annie: "I wasn't mean to [Keetin]; I just didn't talk to her." Since when Annie was mean to Keetin?. And Jeff seems to be rather cool, trying to make sure they're playing smart but less rashly. --Calley: "I want Purple gone." Didn't we know that from "Fireball"? --Max: "It looks like [Keetin]'s running the show, not [Mike]." I wonder if Endurance could be considered as a feminist show because we have all these female contestants having major roles. --Keetin might as well be like, "I want your pieces, Annie!" --When Calley says she talked to Annie about Mike, I think it means Annie doesn't like Mike "that way" or as a competitor. --Keetin: "I swear to God [Annie]'s playing Mike." I respectfully disagree with that--I think Annie just likes talking to Mike and that's all. It reminds me of E3 and how Sarah, Nicole, and Lindi thought Bryanah was messing with their partners' heads and they targeted her for that. --According to Max, Green should send two strong teams instead of Orange and another team...why am I getting hints from E1? --Why not send Blue? Scooter seems like he could take a lot. --Max: "You can't trust anyone because everyone's in it for themselves no matter what." Those lessons from E1 paid off then. --With Calley's confessional, we have a full-blown rivalry. I think it was because they were in alliances against the other, which ultimately became personal. When do you think the game became personal for them? --Phil: "We're basically off the leash now when we come back." --"It's funny how [the Green Team] sends us against a team that wants to go home!" --Max: "It hurts more to be taken off guard that much, trust me." Max is a wise man. --The famous "They'd better pray that I don't come back." Hmm... --Oh man...if Red came back, then GYB would've have to win the next four missions in a row: Blue wants Brown gone, Red would've wanted Green gone, and Purple wants Yellow gone. --Tyler is still not excited over returning...just a handshake.

Tide Pull:
--"Dear everyone except Mike and Keetin..." You know how nice a letter is going to be when you have something like that. --"And I hope Keetin gets bitten by a chicken!" Because getting bitten by a scorpion would not see the light of day. --Max: "As long as the Blue Team isn't the winner, then I'm a winner." --I feel like the power balance between Green-Yellow-Brown and Purple-Blue is the same. Orange is just a lonely outlier. --Shep: "Just when you've got it into the bag, it falls out." I really sense the foreshadowing/irony in that comment. --Scooter: "I thought this was a game, but this is serious man." Partially cracked me up and partially made me think how Scooter just went into game mode and never looked back. --Michelle: "I hope so!" J.D. "How so?" Michelle: "I'm going to win!" Michelle's optimism though, way better than Lana's pessimism. --If you look closely, you could see the structure for Face to Face in the background. --Scooter: "I feel pretty confident about our ability to perform." Sounds like he's managing a sports team and he's a winning coach...and that turned up rather well. --I think Scooter and Michelle targeted Calley because they didn't see them as a threat--and Orange didn't want to be seen as "the weakest team". Bur really Scooter? This was your chance to target Brown! YOU COULD'VE TARGETED BROWN!!! --And this is where Brown starts to turn the tables. Then again, they're now one place up from they were on E1! --Tide Pull: Such. A. Fun. Challenge. There's nothing more to say. --Christa: "What did I ever do to you?" Proves that one teammate can really push the likability rating of a team up or down. --Scooter: "Since four teams came after you that tells you something. It tells me that the Blue Team is the superior team." Hahahahaha with all of Scooter's quotes. --Jenna: "We're thankful we made it this far because we didn't have such luck last season." --d**n...things get personal--"I would love to give you your pieces, but..." But you don't like Calley. --And Shep is a dimwit--not that he's dumb, but he's not doing anything! "What I know now is actually nothing." --Max's strategizing: So he's placing his own alliances on the chopping block. Not sure if that's a smart idea... --"And if [Yellow sent Blue up to Temple] I would backstab them harder than they have ever been backstabbed." Wow...just wow...so harsh of a statement. --Maybe Yellow is a stronger team than we thought...yes, Calley stank at that mission, but they're really playing the game and I'm just blown away by that. --I don't think anybody has any low self-esteem issues; it's all game time here. --Giving the Samadhi to a rival...how topical. --Michelle feeling relieved after not receiving the Samadhi...! --Scooter: "Ten seconds. What is that going to do?" As we've seen from "Dial In", 15 seconds didn't faze the Blue Team and they ended up winning. And that final quote: "Somebody's going to have to go home, and I want to see to it, that I send them home."
My favorite teams as of the end of this episode:
1. Purple: To be honest, Green was coming up the ranks of my favorites: smart, strong, and everything! But I still have that great respect for Purple: Jeff being so cool and Annie really playing the game (no matter how much you guys might not like her). What's not to like? 2. Green: Basically mentioned up there, but they live out the vision of their piece really well. They are also quite likable and fun! 3. Yellow: I don't really have any feelings for Shep, but Calley though--she had that strategical side I haven't noticed before (though there's that problem with making it personal)! I think they could've showed it more in missions, but they would've been a powerful team. 4. Brown/Orange: I really like these two teams for different reasons: Brown as the rising comeback kids who've made a breakthrough this episode, while Orange is trucking it through (though rather dysfunctional)! I also really like Michelle's optimism and determination to win. 5. Red: How many of you felt bad for Red because of them getting sent to Temple? Because I kind of did--I though they would be a tough team to beat and they seemed rather likable until they got sent up. And that letter... 6. Blue: Christa's fine and could've done better, but Scooter was really arrogant, as you can see through his quotes. I don't really hate him on the show, but he doesn't really seem like the person you would trust/make friends with. 7. Gray: Sorry Wayne and Maryelle on how you were screwed over with that mission, but you just didn't get enough screentime. Wayne wasn't a particularly likable character, and I wasn't endeared with Maryelle.

On the Ropes: --Calley: "But we haven't won anything yet." Tell that to Orange and Blue, they haven't won anything yet either. Darn, I feel so sorry for Yellow. --"No one trusts Scooter, they want him off the beach." Christa--I feel sorry for her. --Scooter: "Even if the Blue Team has the Samadhi, ten seconds isn't a lot. We cannot be hindered, and we are determined and we are going to win and we are going to kick Yellow and Brown to the Temple of Fate." Again, why Yellow?! Green is the stronger team, and they can fulfill Jacquelynn and Phil's wishes of sending Green home... --Scooter: "I think revenge is sweet, J.D." The theme of the episode. --The mission starts, and Tyler is completely lost. But he gets it as soon as Blue starts. Imagine how much the game would've changed had Orange won the mission. --Scooter vs. Max--one of the most famous confrontations of all time. --By the time Max won the mission, everyone was in contention. But really, imagine how much the game would've changed had Blue won the mission. --And that celebration, I would've been ecstatic! --I really loved that challenge! --Michelle: "I was actually surprised Tyler actually listened to me because every time I said 'right' he would go right, and every time I said 'left' he would go left...I was like, oooh, I got power this time, cool!" Yeah! --Then Tyler said he couldn't hear anything Michelle was saying. --Scooter: "I was playing to win, and he was going for my hole, so I had to make sure he didn't get it." And now your fate has been sealed. --Scooter's plan: "Get to the Temple, win, and give all my opponents the Samadhi." That means winning the next four missions in a row. --Annie's comment on how Jenna is the head hound and Calley and Keetin are her lapdogs, goes to show you the alliances this season were based on who supported the Brown Team's rearrival vs. those who didn't. --Aww...should I feel sorry for Jeff too? He seems like a nice kid! --Jenna: "Who goes up to people other than Tyler and says they're going to send you guys?" --Don't send Orange, they already had to deal with two trips up! --I love how Max and Jenna exchange words when they make a decision--very fun. --Calley and Michelle though! So happy! --Michelle: "One time we're off the hook!" Don't you just love Michelle? --Scooter: "We shouldn't have been in this position." --Annie: "They used us in two games, and they get rid of us." --Calley: "We were playing [Purple] the whole time." Hahaha. --Max has a new hat! --Annie vs. Calley--"Why do you hate me?" Annie: "I have no reason..." I honestly don't understand why Annie dislikes Calley, but this could've just been an alliance thing that gone off way too personal. Kind of like Taylor vs. Cealey. On Annie: I remember posting in the "Most Polarizing Contestants" thread that I thought Annie was polarizing among the fanbase, because she's a cool and strong girl (basically everything you want as a teammate), but she unnecessarily disliked Calley and was smug to the other contestants. You could also argue she played the guys of this season, but I disagree, because Keetin, Jenna, and Calley were using that to target her just like Nicole, Sarah, and Lindi did to Bryanah on Endurance: Hawaii. This doesn't mean I supported how Annie treated Calley, however. But overall, Annie was the toughest girl of that season and a strategist to boot. She's cool and I personally like her because of her strengths in the game. On Calley: Yes, Calley's physical abilities are a lot left to be desired. And that cheer when Blue and Purple were sent up to Temple...I'm not sure that was necessary. But she really wanted to win, because she wanted to target Blue and Purple, partially because of alliances, but mostly because they were strong teams. I think they could've focused on this more when getting all the tapes together. Finally, about her confrontation with Annie, she was just standing up for herself! I don't have a problem with that. Verdict on Annie vs. Calley: I think their mutual hatred could've been tempered down a bit, because Annie had no reason to and Calley was making her targeting of Purple wayy too dramatic, which could decrease her legitimacy especially because Yellow has yet to win a mission. But I like both of them equally, partially because they have their own distinct personalities and there's still something which makes me think they should've gone further. (drops mic)--I don't agree with Jenna; while Annie does want the alliance to break up, there's Scooter and he's an arrogant threat! If I were on E2, I would want Purple to come back. --Scooter's just emotionless when Max hugs him... --Christa: "It's a pretty lousy feeling to have people who want you gone." --Scooter: "If I come back from the Temple of Fate, the Blue Team stands alone. No one is safe around the Blue Team, and if you make an alliance, I will backstab you." I'm just thinking of Jacquelynn and how she said, "They'd better pray that I don't come back.", because this was going to happen. --Wow, Scooter was so strong when Blue won that first round. --Scooter: "Finish what we have started." In antagonizing Brown? --If you guys noticed (duh...), this is the first time where the Blue Team goes up to Temple in Endurance History. --Nobody seems too excited about Purple coming back. --Jenna: "You can't let her get to you."

Face to Face: --Previously on...the confrontation happened afterthe mission and after Purple and Blue were sent up to Temple. Sorry. --Blue's letter: "To the Brown team: you had guts in giving us the Samadhi and sending us to Temple, and for that we compliment you." Kinda out of character for Scooter; he probably would've asked Purple to send Brown or Yellow home. --The stakes have been risen for Purple. --The "I think..." part from Calley when she said that she and Annie were on good terms is important--I feel like it's a ceasefire, not a peace treaty. --About Yellow not winning anything: While Orange did survive two trips to Temple, they didn't win any Endurance Missions or Temple Missions that would've not had them go to Temple in the first place. --Shep: "Not get kicked off first." Wait...Yellow was only kicked off first in "Tide Pull", and third in "Fireball", but came close to winning "Tower of Power", "Rollerball", and maybe "On the Ropes"? --Green's elimination from the challenge was the most humiliating/funny way to go out in Endurance History. --Wow Calley... --If your hands are slipping, then adjust your grip! --I loved this mission. In fact, from Tide Pull to this episode, they had some of my favorite challenges ever. --Max thought of making a deal when they were still in the challenge...sneaky! --Mike: "One team has more pieces than every other team put together, and that is very very bad." --Mitch: I think the halfway point didn't take Brown into account--and because half of 22 is 11, you can't have a one-player team. But if Brown weren't around, we'd be in the final four. --Max: "It's not an alliance, it's just a friendship." --J.D: "Green's won the first two Temple Missions, they haven't won anything since. And in this game, they were out of it before it even started!" Mike: "I don't know what you're talking about." Keetin: "Yeah, what are you talking about, J.D.?" Just own it up. --Mike: "Today was an embarrassment for the Green Team. Hopefully it will never happen again..." We all know. --Annie: "This was really not a hard decision." A first. --Jenna: "I'm already handicapped by that much." Classic quote. --Max on the Samadhi...well, Scooter did say that, but he's not here anymore.

Michelle is just so lovable. You can't help but root for her.
The whole Calley vs Annie thing was so weird. It was one of the biggest rivalries of the season (maybe of the show, even) yet it just seemed to come out of nowhere and was never really explained. It was like "I don't like because you don't like me" on both sides and I never figured out exactly WHY they didn't like each other

Cherry Picker:
--Pre-episode contemplation: Dear Shep and Calley: At least we won a mission on E1! Love, Christian and Ashley. (Not a real letter, but something to think about.) --I'm officially traumatized. I love Jeff and Annie, and I've watched this episode before, but darn! Yellow should've won! YELLOW SHOULD'VE WON! (Sorry, I was just so shocked and felt so bad for Yellow.) --Good mission, but just see above. --Max's dealing days, I wonder what would've happened had him and Jenna (as the Gray Team) returned instead of Green on E1. --Michelle: "Max is going to his lowest to stay here." --Jenna's confessional: "All this strategy is get us in a lot of trouble." How much strategizing do you really need? --Annie: "I seriously don't want to look like a backstabber." "Our choices were based on strategy and what goes around comes around." Basically karma. --I think Purple could've sent Green, because they were a stronger team than Yellow. But like I said in the previous episode, Annie and Calley making up was just a ceasefire, not a peace treaty, and sending Yellow to Temple shows that. --Michelle's confessional: "Boy am I happy to be in the final four. Who thought Orange would make it to the final four?" Not many people... --Mike: "You'd think I'd trade you guys for Annie?" --I love Calley's final confessional. --Max: "But if I come back I will win the next Endurance Mission, slamPurple with the Samadhi as hard as we can..." Just that part; it would be an interesting twist if somebody got to choose what would be the handicap inside the Samadhi. --This had to be the only time in Endurance history where there was a storm at Temple. Quite interesting, did you think the producers would try to make the contestants a bit safer? --As we all know, this is Max and Jenna's first time to Temple since that ill-fated night on E1. Even more interestingly, both times they were sent, they were sent as the stronger team. And this is Yellow's (as the color) first time to Temple since that ill-fated night on E1, when they lost at that final temple. --Jenna was so excited, and I can see why, she and Max finally survived Temple! --Don't you feel sorry for Calley? Just, really sorry? Because she was picked on, almost won a mission, and now eliminated and crying. That's just...sad. --As of today this episode is going to the blacklist of Endurance episodes for me, because it was just so tragic to watch. If something could've just been different, then Yellow would've won and been extremely cheerful. But no. While Shep and Calley were not my favorite team this season, they should've won that mission and had a chance of staying. (If you're wondering, then the Endurance Blacklist refers to episodes I probably don't want to watch again unless I want to re-watch an entire season. Fortunately, there's only one other episode on it, and that's "All Tied Up", when the Blue Team was eliminated on E5.) --Then again, Yellow deserved it, because with the exception of Blue from E4 (and even then they've won the Superteam mission, which may or may not count...), no team has made it to the final four without winning anything. --Finally, you cannot hate Purple anymore.

The whole Calley vs Annie thing was so weird. It was one of the biggest rivalries of the season (maybe of the show, even) yet it just seemed to come out of nowhere and was never really explained. It was like "I don't like because you don't like me" on both sides and I never figured out exactly WHY they didn't like each other I've mentioned this in various posts when I kind of "blogged" about re-watching this season, but what I think is that Purple and Yellow were on separate alliances to start with, but somehow, it became personal. I wish we could ask them, but it's so long now since E2, not to mention they seem rather isolated from the show.

Aqueduct: --I forgot to mention this in the previous episode: I think Calley should've been like, "Max and Jenna, don't let Annie win this game." when she left Temple. --Starting from this episode, Annie wore glasses. I wonder why... --"Yellow hadn't won anything, and now they are gone." Sad, just sad...and that thunder effect from the previous evening sounds. --Tyler: "The same thing could happen." No, don't say that! --J.D.: "What about you, Michelle?" Michelle: "It's not going to happen." J.D: "Why not?" Michelle: "I'm staying." --alliances vs. friendships again! hahaha. --I think Tyler said "Orange" partially because it was obligatory. --So many letters this season called for another team to kick another off. With Gray, "Send Tyler home!", with Red, "Dear everybody except Mike and Keetin," and now Yellow wanted Brown to kick off Purple. --Tyler: "It's fate that we've come all this way." --d**n, Max...! --Quite an interesting challenge! --Orange's "We've won something!" moment. --And everybody applauded them, how sweet. If Yellow won "Cherry Picker" the previous day, then we'd have GYB just cheering, while Purple...yeah, it would've been sad for them. --Michelle: "There might be a very good chance that Orange might win this thing!" --Michelle: "I like being in power now because people are making deals that they don't need to make." --Hmm...handicap Green because they sent Orange to Temple twice, handicap Purple because they were the strongest team, or handicap Brown because Max is making all these deals? To be honest, the times Green sent Orange to Temple were because Tyler wanted to, so I wouldn't handicap them. Purple...duh, pieces, so that leaves Brown on the chopping block. But I understand Tyler's decision. --Inside the Samadhi...time disadvantage is the obvious one, but there was already a time disadvantage Samadhi for "On the Ropes", so not likely. I would guess some extra pieces the team who got the Samadhi would have to get.

Plank Maze: --"Who has the leadership to go all the way?" Huge hint. --Mike: "You're going to see who you true allies are because you can only keep one other team safe if you win." --J.D. (to the Purple Team): "This win could propel you to the end of this game." --Max: "This is not good."...even before the mission. --Wow, Green did such a good job! I wonder what it would be like if Purple won--they were so close! --I thought the mission was quite interesting--not my favorite personally, but looks like a cool one to replicate. --Tyler: "And if Green decides to send me to Temple, then I'll try my hardest to come back." That's a first. --Annie: "We have six pieces; I don't want another team to use our six pieces to win." --Mike: "We can send anybody up and they can't get revenge on us." Hmm... --Curious...why spare Purple? Weren't they rivals over the course of the season? --Max: "I'll make you wish you never ever played this game." Hahah--high stakes! --I think karma came around for Max this episode. --Another song I want to know the title of: the track played when Mike interviews about whom to send to Temple. --Max's facial expression when he finds out Brown was going to Temple... --Annie: "If we thought of strategy, then Green would not be here today." Yeah...because they would've sent them to Temple instead of Yellow in "Cherry Picker". --Tyler: "Nobody ever does [understand]." --Mike: "Just to spite us...just to be like, 'Ha, you have one, they have nine!'" --Annie: "I thought it would be Purple and Brown to the last day..." Man, that would be a showdown for the ages. --Max: "I think [Green] thinks they're going to win with just one piece!" That is an amusing quote, but that's not taking into account the final mission. --Max: "We're looking at it as the Clash of the Titans...whomever is coming back is going to win this game." --But for Max and Jenna this is their third trip to Temple overall...second on E2, though. --You remember how stormy it was when Brown and Yellow went up to Temple, not that much this time around, but it was still quite windy. --One of three instances in which two teams pick the same element at Temple. --J.D.: "Brown Team looks really confident." Jenna: "No, Max does." --A really nice farewell with Purple and Brown--something you wouldn't expect a few episodes earlier. But still, bye Purple Team, you were my favorites. --Again, a bit of karma...Yellow went home, then Purple went home. Or it's just a coincidence.

Pathfinder:
--Yeah, that clip featuring Green was a big spoiler alert. --Wow...that really changed the game a lot. I bet no matter who gets those pieces, somebody would take a significant lead. --Nope, Green Team was in last place since "Aqueduct". Sorry J.D. --J.D.: "You owe a lot to this girl." Tyler: "Yes, I do." --Michelle: "I think the Orange Team deserves the pieces because even though they haven't won too many missions, we have worked hard and we haven't backstabbed anybody." --I wonder what the contestants do with the notes afterward...do they keep them? Dispose them (especially the "Give it to the next team you want to betray" one)? That would be a good question to ask. --I'm not sure what to do with whomever doesn't like Michelle. --Max: "I just don't want to go to Temple again, that would be three nights in a row." --Mike: "To lose, in the final three, when you're so close to the prize, that would be devastating." --Jenna: "I'm really happy with being in the final three, but I'm not satisfied with it."
On the final three: I think all of them deserve it in some way--with Brown, the first team eliminated on E1, could win E2. With Orange, they were the underdogs and are really hitting their stride. With Green, they shown the most teamwork and are a really likeable team.
--Out of the eliminated teams from E2, who would do the best in this? (Just something to think about.) --I think the mission is more of perseverance than commitment. --Tyler: "Now what was I just thinking? Cause I lost it." I just think Tyler is a bit clueless at this point. --Why does it seem like the brain challenges are the hardest? I think I could've seen something, but it's because it's the benefit of being the viewer and not the player. --Tyler: "I'm not really helping right now..." Um...you do realize this is the final three and that the two losing teams get automatically sent to Temple? --Brown winning was just iconic. Not to mention, I really like this challenge! The puzzle was really interesting and it really challenges the mind. --The four colors (obviously...) represented a tribute to four out of the five fallen teams (sorry Gray!). --It's interesting how Green was sent to Temple three times on E1, but this episode marks their first time going up on E2. And obviously, Green, Orange, and Purple made it further than they did on E1, while Red, Yellow, and Blue were eliminated before the final four. --Mike: "We couldn't call ourselves winners if we didn't go to the Temple at least once." Wrong--Blue never went up to Temple before the finale on E1--did you not watch that? --And with that, every single team has went up to Temple at least once this season. --Haha, Max acted like giving one's mother a vacation was no big deal. --"If you think you could get away without a group hug, you're wrong." --In the words of Mitch: "The one round Tyler wants to stay he gets eliminated." And isn't that ironic... --I've noticed that Green foiled Orange's attempt to survive three trips to Temple, just like they were foiled on E1. --Tyler: "Hey, show them what Endurance 2 was about, man." --Like on E1, the original alliance has made it to the end (like E1, sans one team, of course.).

Final Mission (final two, baby!): --Pre-episode: I think Jenna and Keetin were the only contestants who had those "Swim" shorts. --Mike: "I can't believe it, but...GREEN TEAM CAME BACK!" --Jenna: "[The Brown-Green alliance] was the only alliance that has stuck together until the end. It feels good to face the Green Team." --What's interesting is that four out of the six seasons of Endurance (including this one) has two member of the original alliances facing it off in the finale. --I agree with Max...but I did think Yellow should've won Cherry Picker (or Tower of Power, really) in order to give themselves a chance. In fact, if you looked at my "Endurance: Unfinished Business" thread, all three teams would really be on there. --Mike: "Keetin didn't [go into the water]!" Haha, what a fun moment. --Based on Mike's comment on how awesome the ocean was, the crew should've let them scuba dive as well! --Goats! --When Mike said they began with twenty kids, it showed the contestants in their team colors, which was the fourteen contestants formed into seven teams. --Maryelle moment: Max does miss her. --Mike: "Tyler was intentional, Michelle was unintentional." (humor) --Interestingly, neither the Blue nor the Red teams were mentioned by the contestants. No love for Christa?! --Jenna had some wise words in that confessional. --Random thing: Yellow had the tallest pole. --It was so funny how Mike went "Put your piece down Jenna." --That was a fun challenge! Probably one of my favorite piece missions now (along with Spin Fly on E4). --Wow...how wouldn't it end 4-4? --Max: "I hate surprises." Jenna: "I like surprises." Mirrors that part from the very first episode of Endurance when J.D. went, "Jenna, do you like surprises?" --Keetin: "It would've been nicer if we could've gotten five and they would've gotten three..." Except you guys would be tied. --"I got the lion." Really reminds me of Red and the Leadership piece on E1 and how Christian went "We just like the picture." --That's a really nice necklace! Hopefully at least one of the contestants still has it. --The music when J.D. was talking...so awesome. Somebody contact Pei Pei to get it! --I think Max and Jenna would experience only eleven challenges, because they weren't there for the RTS and the partner selection.

The Finale: --And a year ago, Max and Jenna were several shades paler. Haha. --I didn't know Sabrina voted for Jenna to go back for E2! Knowing her, I thought she would go for herself. --That tiki doll, worked, apparently. --Jenna: "It's like you go on a vacation and you miss being there." --Max: "This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and for Jenna and I this was a twice-in-a-lifetime opportunity." --Imagine what it would've been like if Max and Jenna survived that first Temple on E1. --Keetin: "If it has anything to do with chicken fighting, I'm gone." Hahaha. --Max: "I made that mistake once with the Blue Team and I hope they will still be friendly to me." --Seriously, Green could've won Endurance within the first three or so rounds. --If Green won E2, it would be so ironic...because Max and Jenna would lose to Green at Temple in the beginning of E1, then lose to Green at Temple at the end of E2. --So many dramatic lead changes! --I feel like regardless who wins in the end, both Green and Brown deserve being Endurance Champions. --Green stopped relying on Mike's tiki and relied on Teamwork... --When Brown puts down the Knowledge piece, Max said, "Knowledge is what Michelle was..." and then... --Now, I feel like J.D pushes a button to activate the pyramids. --"Can luck and fate be the deciding factor for you guys to win this game...or will teamwork bring Green back from close to extinction?" --What a great end to a great season: I didn't cry, but it was just so amazing to see Brown end up winning it all...from the first team eliminated on E1 to the last team standing on E2. What a great team (though not my personal favorites). --Overall, I thought E2 was great: the cast was great, the missions were great, the location...I loved it. I think it might be underrated just because the season after it was Endurance: Hawaii, and that made every other season look bad. But still, what a wonderful season E2 was.

The eliminations in Fireball were quite interesting...
First round, Blue eliminates Brown (no surprise) and Green eliminates Orange (no surprise) Second round, Blue eliminates Yellow (no surprise) Third round, Purple eliminates Blue (a little surprising - they were doing really well, but I thought Blue and Purple were allies at this point? I would have thought Purple would eliminate Green) Fourth round, Green eliminates Red (over Purple?? Not only are Purple doing better in this mission than Red but Purple also has the lead in pieces at this point) And then of course, Purple wins
It makes me think that the alliances on the beach were not so clear-cut. In the third episode they outline the alliances as Purple/Orange/Gray/Red/Scooter and Yellow/Green/Brown/Christa but I don't think these alliances stayed intact because different friendships were formed. I think that's ultimately why the YGB alliance was overall the more successful one - their alliance was based on friendship rather than having a common enemy. I think that the teams in the other alliance were joined together by the desire to get out Brown initially, but they weren't necessarily all friends with each other like YGB was.
Idk, just random musings.

Seeing Purple get eliminated was sooo sad. Upon this rewatch, I honestly think they played one of the best Endurance games ever. Even better than the Brown team this season. Often times Brown team's game was kind of messy, as Max would go around making deals with everyone and they all caught on. But Purple stuck to their guns, made good friends, and won when they needed to. It was sad seeing such a deserving team go home.
