Who else is in love with the TLC Channel?! I am ALWAYS watching Jon & Kate Plus 8, or one of the Duggar family specials or their new TV show, 17 Kids and counting.
To anyone else who watches J&K and the Duggar shows, does anyone else see a bit of the Gosselin parents in their own parents? Does anyone else feel annoyed by how the Duggar parents don't let their kids explore the world and actually LIVE?
I love TLC, hehe.

I watch Jon and Kate Plus 8 but I don't watch the Duggars, that's just stupid, they're like 50 and still having kids, WHY does the world need 17 more kids anyway???

The Duggars actually practice the Baptist religion very conservatically (is that a real word?) They are expecting thier 18th child in January, their oldest child got married in September at age 20, and their new house was actually finished about two years ago, but TLC still shows the documentary that was made when the 16th child was due and when the house was being built. I find them very annoying most times, but they're also addicting to watch. Here's their website: www.duggarfamily.com/I love J&K Plus 8! I think I was actually in the same North Carolina area they were in, only I was there in August '07.

Aww, I x3 JK+8 the kids are so adorable. ^^ I agree, I think the Duggars are a little weird, but this may sound mean, but their show is almost comical at times.

I agree, Becky! Just the way the parents make their older kids so naive and cut off from the real world can sometimes lead to funny segments!
My favorite Gosselin kids are Aaden and Hannah - they're so cute!

I love TLC!!!!! The Gosselin kids are sooooooo cute!!!!! They crack me up with all the stuff they say. Kate annoys me though, lol, she's just so... idk, annoying.
Yeah, I would never cut my kids off from the outside world completely like the Duggars do. You need to experience the world if you're ever gonna live in it on your own.
The other thing that bugs me is that TV shows always show the stereotypical homeschooling family. I homeschool, and I don't dress in out of style dresses and stuff, lol. They portray homeschoolers as weird people who don't have social lives... when in fact, most homeschoolers are perfectly normal people.

i don't watch TLC shows..but while we're talking about TV...
well if ur like me and have evil teachers who enjoy watching you drown in homework and which results in you ending up missing your favorite tv shows..there's a way you can watch them even if you dont have TiVo.
there's a website called hulu.com --- idk if u've heard of it b4 but anyway it has new episodes of relatively popular shows like Family Guy, Bones, house, ER, a couple of MTV shows..etc. they also have movies online. and its free!! and legal (im pretty sure)!
