lol the flaming folder means it's a "hot topic" because it has so many replies.
And to Edward, Obama is in fact a socialist. He's admitted it himself without actually using the term "socialist." He has stated numerous times that his goal is to take money from the rich and give it to the poor. It will destroy business, promote laziness and unemployment, and make our economy far worse than it already is. In simpler terms, socialist.
As for people in his life when he was younger... Many of these people he has continued to surround himself with up until his run for president, Including the infamous racist preacher who he had no problem with until it was pointed out by the media during his presidential campaign.

Well taking money from the rich and giving it to the poor sounds more like communism. And I highly doubt that Obama wants to actually do that literally. What he probably means is tax more to rich people and make poorer people have government benefits like welfare. I don't think it will make our economy worse but only time will tell.
And as far as his preacher friend goes...I dont entirely understand the situation but I have no problem with Obama's friends in his personal life as long as it doesn't have an effect with his presidency.

It's not so much his friends, it's that he went to this preachers church for years and years, listening to his sermons full of racism and terrorist-thoughts.

Judging by the economy right now...i thnk obama's doin the rite thing..and it'll pay off in the future. i wouldnt call it socialism or communism..but i'll agree..something close to it..
and it goes against equality & all and so i dont like the idea muchh but lookin at the circumstances..it's gonna be necessary..if not today, tommorrow.
but i still support Obama.

oh yeah!, up top! and i do think that that`s a good plan but i`m still worried if he does a good job and want him to do a good job. and people are freaking me out by talking about who will be running in the NEXT election come on people it has just been 6 six days since the election. take a break and maybe a chill pill.
