*Kids are walking across the rocky beach*
JD: Welcome to Endurance: Santa Barbara. I'm the host, JD Roth. You've traveled 6,000 miles across America and the Pacific to this island. Now, behind you are your living quarters. There's no electricity, running water or modern convienences. In front of you are the pyramid pieces of Endurance. There's Luck, Commitment, Knowledge, Discipline, Courage, Perserverance, Trust, Strength, Heart, Leadership, Ingenuity, Teamwork, Friendship & Karma. Here are the 7 poles with team colors on 'em: Orange, Yellow, Gray, Green, Purple, Blue & Red. To stay here, you gotta survive that at the top of the island. There it is: The Temple of Fate. 2 unlucky teams will trek through the forest to get there. 2 go up, but only 1 will return. Today is the Right to Stay challenge, which means 6 of you will be eliminated today. Alright, you can go to your cabins and get acquainted, I'll see you this afternoon.
*the kids run over to their cabins*
Girls: OMG! I love this place! I can't believe we're actually here!! Boys: Yeah! I call this bunk! I get bottom bunk! Kyla: When I first saw this place, I was ecstatified! I wanna win this! Colin: This place is so surreal! I see a lotta colors I've never imagined of. BreeAnn: Ooh! It's a little hermit crab! He's so cute. Kids: Let's play! *kids start playing football* Angelica: Hey, Dana! Whatcha doin'? Dana: Just sketchin' up a mannequin. Angelica: What a great sketch! Dana (Confessional): I just wanna make friends now, 'cuz you gotta have friends if you wanna win. Fresh: Right now, the 2 that're hanging out together a lot are Angelica & Dana. I hope their friendship survives today. *inside the boys' cabin* kevin: I'm really nervous about today. If i leave today, I'll be so mad. Donovan: It's gotta be a physical challenge. It's always mind over matter when it comes to that. jacob: I just wanna be an official Endurance player. *kids head towards the beach*
JD: Hey, everybody. Left ya with some bad news, well, here it is now. You ready to know what the Right to Stay is? Well, take a look over out in the sea. You're gonna have to hang onto 2 rings hanging oevr the water. This is gonna take every ounce of strength to overcome the pain. The first 3 guys and the first 3 girls that fall in will be eliminated immediately. You ready to play? Kids: Yeah! JD: Alright, boys, let's head into the water. * boys get their hands onto the rings* JD: On your mark, get set, GO!!!!! *the boys swing out over the water* JD: There they go! Only 7 can survive! *girls cheer as they hold on* JD: 4 minutes you been holdin' on! Oh, oh, oh! Kevin's struggling a lot! *Kevin falls in and screams "AAH!"* JD: Whoa! Kevin's out! 2 more will be leaving with him. Donovan: I dunno if I should let go now... *Donovan lets go and falls in* JD: Donovan's goin' home! 1 more and that's it! *Lewis strains and falls in* JD: That's it! Kevin, Donovan, and Lewis have been eliminated! The other 7 are now official Endurance players! Cameron: I'm so excited to be an Endurance player, I can't even tell you! Garrett: When the last guy fell, I was so proud of myself. I'm now one step closer to being a champion. Lewis: I am really angry at myself right now. I coulda held on much longer. Kevin: The rings were slippery, and when I could not take all that anymore, I just gave in to the burn. Donovan: I just couldn't take it, I tried one hand, but I slipped. I realize taht you gotta have more mind over that matter.
JD: Now it's your turn, girls, and let me tell ya, those guys- they're athletic. Now, let's see if you can prove the same thing. Head on out.
*girls get their hands onto the rings* JD: Alright, girls. On your mark, get set, GO!! *girls swing out over the water* JD: There they go! *boys start to root on the girls* JD: 9 minutes they've been holding on! Oh, oh! Trina's moving an awful lot! *Trina falls off and screams "AAAHH!"* JD: Oh, oh, oh! Trina's out! JD: Almost 20 minutes you've been holdin' on, girls! *Emily starts to lose her grip* *Wendy suddenly falls into the water* JD: Whoa! Wendy's been eliminated from thsi game! Nicole: This is real hard. *Paige starts to shake* *Kyla slips and falls in* JD: That's it! Trina, Wendy & Kyla are going home! The other 7 are official Endurance players! Emily: I was so relieved after the last girl fell. My legs and arms were SO sore even after I fell off. Paige: I'm really proud of myself for making it this far. Now, hopefully, I get a good partner, and I'm on my way to winning. Wendy: I'm really upset and sad about losing. At least I met 19 other cool kids. Kyla: I was really disappointed in myself right after I fell. Trina: I couldn't hold on any longer. My hands had a lot of fatigue, and I just gave up. I hope I learned to not dream of this, but to feel it, love it and change from it.
*JD & the final 14 kids are on the beach*' JD: Congratulations! You 14 are now the official Endurance players! Now, tomorrow, you've got a big day. You're gonna have to pick partners to become teams. Get your game face on, I'll see ya tomorrow.
*the kids leave the beach*

Endurance: Santa Barbara- Episode 2: Pole Play
JD, voice-over: Last time on Endurance: Santa Barbara...
20 new contestants from all across America came to Santa Barbara island to compete. They got acquainted, but 6 were eliminated the very first day. Now, the final 14 must pick colors and partners. Who'll get what they want and who'll crumble from pressure? Find out as we see who has the greatest Endurance.
*birds chirp as the camera shows a lake view of the Temple* 20 CONTESTANTS *shows kids climbing a rock* 13 CHALLENGES *shows kids playing missions* 1 BEACH *shows a crow's-nest view of the island* ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
*shows the huts and the 14 kids coming out*
JD: Hey, guys! I bet it was sorta tough to 6 of your friends leave yesterday?
Kids: Yeah.
JD: Well, today, now you'll have a new thing to face: we're gonna be picking teammates and colors. Yep, you're all gonna be the 7 teams of Endurance. I'll ask some of you who you'd like as a partner?
Paige: I'd probably like to have Colin as my partner.
JD: Wow, Paige! You really had the courage to speak up like that. Your reward, you and Colin are the first official team of Endurance: Santa Barbara. Now, you can pick a team color.
Colin: We're goin' with Gray.
JD: As for you 12, you'll have to compete to get who you want, okay? I'll see you in couple of hours to see ya at the challenge, start discussing who'd be your partner, peace out!
*Inside the huts* Dana: It's cool that you got Colin, but I wanted him first. Paige: At least I was more courageous. Confessional: (Colin): Now that Paige and I are a team, we're probably a target team now. This isn't shaping up to be good.
*Outside of the huts* fresh: I really don't want Nicole as a partner. She's just far too madly in love with me. Cameron: You can tell her to stop following you. Skyler: I'm really nervous that I won't get who I want as a partner. I hope I get a unique girl.
*the kids walk over to the partner game*
JD: Hey guys. Gray, you won't need to play 'cuz you're a team now. As for the others, this game is called Pole Play. The objective of this game, you're gonna have to hold up a log between your head and this tower. If the log falls, you're outta the game. The last person standing gets to decide who their partner and color is and who everyone else's will be.
*the 12 kids hold the logs up* JD: On your mark, get set, GO!!! *the kids brace themselves* JD: oh, oh, oh! BreeAnn's fell down! Whoa! Skyler and Emily fell next! There goes Nicole! Nick just fell! Half of you are gone. Whoa, Garrett fell too! Rori just collapsed! Only 4 left: Fresh, Cameron, Dana and Jacob! Oh! Dana fell! Jacob's out. It's coming down to Cameron and Fresh! Oops, Fresh is out! Congrats, cameron, you won!! Cameron: Yeah-heh-heh!! I'm so happy to get my partner! Rori: I'm really worried that Cameron could change up the game a bit.
*on the team colored triangles* JD: alright, now. Cameron, you've got a choice of 6 colors to choose from. which are you gonna do? Cameron: I'll do Green. JD:Who'll be your partner fro the remainder of your time on Endurance? Cameron: I'm gonna choose BreeAnn. JD: Now you can choose the next team, which is Blue. Who'll be the boy on Blue? Cameron: I'll choose Fresh. *Fresh goes over to the Blue triangle* JD: now, here's a twist: any girl who wants to be a boy's partner can say their name and join them on the triangle. Who'd like to be Fresh's partner for the rest of his time on Endurance? Rori: I'll be his partner. JD: So, now we move on to Red. Who's gonna be the boy on Red? Cameron: We choose Nicholas. JD: Which one of you wants to be his partner for the rest of his time here? Emily: I'd wanna be his partner. JD: Moving on to Purple. Who'll be the boy on Yellow? BreeAnn: It's gonna be Skyler. JD: who will be his partner for the rest of his time on Endurance? BreeAnn: It'll be Nicole. *everyone gasps* Rori: How could she do that? Nicole: A lot of people were shocked that I was Jake's partner. They originally wanted me to be with Jacob until BreeAnn said who I was gonna be with and everyone was like, "Oh, my God!" and "How dare she?". JD: That was shocking. That leaves jacob and Angelica as the Purple team. *all 14 are standing on their correspondent colored triangles* JD: What i'm looking at now are the 7 official teams of Endurance. I'll see ya in couple of hours to award your pyramid pieces and tell ya what the grand prize is. *the kids leave the challenge* *the kids come out of the huts, dressed in their team colored T-shirts, holding pyramid pieces while walking to the colored poles* JD: hey, teams! Lookin' good in your team shirts. Now, moving on to your pyramid pieces. These pieces represent the qualities needed to win this game. You gotta get 14 pieces to win endurance and the grand prize. Green team, your piece is Discipline. You're gonna need a lot of discipline to win, right? Go ahead and add it to your pillar. *BreeAnn places the piece on the pole* JD: Gray team, your piece is Courage. Paige, you really had the courage to speak up and have Colin as your partner. Go on and add the piece to your pillar. *Paige places to piece on the pole* JD: Blue team, your piece is Knowledge. Rori, you had the knowledge to know that Fresh would be a good partner for you. Go on and put the piece on your pole. *Rori places the piece on the pole* JD: Red team, your piece is Commitment. You 2 are gonna have to be REALLY dedicated to each other if you wanna get far in this game. Go add to what you already have. *Emily places the piece on the pole* JD: Orange team, your piece is Perserverance. You know in life, you gotta have the ability to perservere to get to the end. Go get that on the pole. *Dana adds the piece to the pole* JD: Yellow team, your piece is Leadership. Obviously, you need each other to be the strongest team here, right? Go ahead and place it on the pole. *Nicole adds the piece to the pole* JD: Purple team, your piece is Trust. If you wish to win, you need to have an enormous amount of trust in each other. Go on and add to what you've got. *Angelica adds the piece to the pole* JD: All right, now that you've got your team pieces, you wanna know about the grand prize trip? It's a trip to the largest hydrothermal vent system in the world. It's in the Norris Geyser Basin to see a real life hydrothermal vent. It's an expedition to the Yellowstone National park sponsored by Dive and Discover Expeditions. You're gonna be staying at the Xanterra Parks and Resorts hotel near the National Park. Now, you've had a little bit to start with, huh? You've been dropped off here, you survived the Right to Stay, you got your partners, and tomorrow, you'll face your very first test as a team. I can't tell ya now, but all I know is it could make or break this game. See ya tomorrow! Kids: Bye! *the kids walk back into the huts* Current Team Stats: Color: Team Members: Piece: Green--BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline Gray----Paige & Colin Courage Blue----Rori & Fresh Knowledge Red----Emily & Nicholas Commitment Orange--Dana & Garrett Perserverance Yellow---Nicole & Skyler Leadership Purple---Angelica & Jacob Trust

Endurance: Santa Barbara- Episode 3: Squared
JD, voiceover: Last time on endurance: Santa barbara, the final 14 players all competed to get their ideal partner. In a shocking twist, Paige and Colin became a team when Paige spoke up about who she wanted as a partner. Cameron won the challenge and formed the final 6 teams. Now, there are the 7 official teams of Endurance. They are:
the green team--breeann & cameron the gray team--paige & colin the blue team--rori & fresh the red team--emily & nick the orange team--dana & garrett the yellow team--nicole & skyler and the purple team--angelica & jake
Now, the teams will face their first mission. Who will have teamwork to be together and cause a friction for others? Find out as we see who possesses the greatest endurance.
*birds chirp as the camera shows a lake view of the Temple of Fate* 7 TEAMS *shows kids climbing a rock* 13 CHALLENGES * shows kids playing missions* 1 BEACH *shows a crow's-nest view of the island ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
*at the huts* Paige: Everyone thinks we deserved the Teamwork piece, so I kinda think that's gonna make us a target team. Colin: I'm really happy to be on the Gray team and to be Paige's partner. Angelica: If I had a chance to switch partners, I would rather be with Skyler. Jacob: Everyone was really not expecting me to have Angie as a partner. *outside the huts* Rori: I'm totally excited to do today's Endurance Mission. i really think Blue is gonna do good today, and if we start off awkward, we'll do better in the end. Nick: The teens that haven't hung around anyone else are suddenly hanging out together. *near the hut steps, Nick & Nicole are talking* Nick: Who knows? Maybe the people I totally trusted are become untrustworthy. Nicole: I would never do that, I swear! To tell ya the truth, I'm not that truly interested in alliances, 'cuz it'd be exposed to everyone, which would make things bad. Nick: I wouldn't tell so and so, "ooh, she hates you now" 'ciz I'd never forgive myself. You've gotta swear to me that you won't tell anyone that we're together as friends, 'cuz that makes drama, which would make me hang out with the wrong people, and I don't wanna go out with any of my enemies. Nicole: You wanna pinkie-swear? Nick: yeah. I swear to God that I will be your ally as long as you remain. Nicole: I swear to God that I promise not to tell anyone about us. Emily: I'm sorta trying to regret that I picked Nick as a partner, 'cuz he's turning out to be a schemer who's gonna stop at NOTHING to win. Nick: I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to win the Endurance title.
*the kids walk over to the challenge* JD: Hey guys! You know why we're here? Kids: Yeah. JD: Today's your first Endurance Mission. You'll be competing for the Teamwork pyramid piece and this... *evryone gasps* JD: The dreaded Samadhi. As you all know, the samadhi will put another team at a negative disadvantage in tomorrow's Temple Mission. This challenge is called Squared. When I say go, you're gonna traverse thru an obstacle course, collecting blocks as you go. Then, you're gonna race back holding these blocks and then drop 'em in the tray at the start. If these blocks fall, you gotta restack them again. The first team to get all 8 of their blocks in their tray wins the piece and the Samadhi. You guys ready? Teams: Yup. JD: Alright, get in position, everyone. JD: On your mark, get set, GO!!! *the teams all pick up their blocks and start running* JD: There they go! off and runnin'! looks like Red has the lead! Now, it looks like Green has the lead! Gray's in the back, looks like they're really struggling! Colin: keep pushin', Paige! Garrett: Keep 'em up, keep 'em up! BreeAnn: Aah! I lost 'em! Skyler: Come on, Nicole, LET'S GO!!!! JD: Yellow's having a lot of trouble keeping their blocks together! Oh! It looks like Orange, Green and Red are on their way back! Whoops! Green dropped their stack! Orange is just 1 foot away from victory! *Orange drops their blocks in their tray* JD: Wow! Orange team wins! You get the Teamwork piece and the Samadhi! *JD hands the Samadhi to Orange* JD: I'll see ya later to find out who'll be handicapped with the Samadhi this evening, a'ight? Both: Alright. JD: Great! You're all free to go.
*back inside the huts, BreeAnn & Nicole are on their bunk talking* BreeAnn: Who do ya think's gonna get the Samadhi? Nicole: I think it might be Gray. BreeAnn: No, I think they're gonna do Blue or Red. Nicole: Why's that? BreeAnn: If y'all see how they did, you were gonna be blown away. Dana: It's really hard to give the Samadhi to someone. Whether or not, doing this is gonna give us a lot of enemies if we make the wrong move. *in the hut shade, Fresh, Garrett & Nick are talking* Garrett: Who do ya think deserves the Samadhi? Fresh: I don't know about Gray, but most likely Yellow. Nick: Yeah, but Green has more of a chance of getting that thing. Fresh: No! Orange would never betray their best friends. Nick: I'm gonna go see Nicole. I'll ask her who she thinks is gonna get it. *Nick & Nicole are on the hammock talking* Nick: do ya really think Orange would give you the Samadhi? Nicole: No, they wouldn't. They're our allies. Nick: I don't wanna see you saddled tomorrow with that horrible thing. Nicole: They just gotta make a decision.
*the teams walk over to the rock where the Samadhi ceremonies take place* JD: How's everyone doin'? Everyone: Good. JD: this is the rock, where we'll make our decisions for the Samadhi. and we'll also kinda, downlaod on what's been happening around here. Teams, who do you think is the weakest team around here? *Red, Blue, Green & Purple all simultaneously point at Gray & Yellow* JD: Wow! It looks like it's 4 against 1. Why's that? Rori: 'Cuz they go out with the Gray team. They're just lost in multi-alliances. JD: Yellow, is that true? Skyler: No, our only allies are with Gray and Orange. JD: Paige, have you ever tried covering up your alliance? Paige: No. It's obvious that we're being targeted for having more teamwork than any of the other teams, and they're really just jealous. JD: Have any teams been havin' some issues? *Jake raises his hand* JD: Purple? Jake: Most of the time, Angelica spends half her time with Skyler. Angelica: I'm doing it, 'cuz if Cameron listened, I wouldn't be in all this drama that's goin' around me. Cameron: I don't have anything do do with any of that, I swear! JD: Alright now. Orange team, you've gotta make a tough decision. Which team have you decided to give the dreaded Samadhi to? Garrett: Alright, we're really sorry, but we're giving it to the Yellow team. *Orange hands the Samadhi to Yellow* JD: Yellow team, go ahead and smash the Samadhi against that rock. *Nicole smashes the Samadhi open and picks up a 5-ft. rope from the rubble* JD: Yellow team, you'll be handicapped by 5 ft. in tomorrow's Temple Mission. Doesn't mean you're gonna lose, it's just gonna make your game difficult. Teams, tomorrow, we're gonna have our first elimination. And one team will be leaving this magnificent island forever. Teams, you're free to go. *the kids head back to the huts* Skyler: They were really dumb to give their own friends the Samadhi. That's just brilliant. BreeAnn: I was thrilled when Yellow was saddled with the samadhi 'cuz either gray or Yellow has got to go.

Endurance: Santa Barbara-- Episode 4: Canoe Pull
JD, voiceover: Last time on Endurance: Santa Barbara... The teams competed in their first Endurance Mission. The Orange team dominated and received the Teamwork piece, and the alliance of Yellow & Gray struggled to keep their alliance secret. But at the nook, it was Yellow that was saddled with the dreaded Samadhi. Now, the day everyone's scared of is now here. One team will be eliminated at the Temple of Fate. Orange's in the lead with 2 pyramid pieces, while everyone else has 1. Will discipline help the alliance of Red, Green, Purple & Blue or be their downfall? Find out as we see who possesses the greatest endurance.
*birds chirp as the camera shows a lakeview of the Temple of Fate* 7 TEAMS *shows kids climbing a rock* 13 CHALLENGES *shows kids playing missions* 1 BEACH *shows a crow's nest view of the island* ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
Team Stats: Color: Team Members: Piece: Green--BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline Gray----Paige & Colin Courage Blue----Rori & Fresh Knowledge Red----Emily & Nick Commitment Orange-Dana & Garrett Perserverance, Teamwork Yellow--Nicole & Skyler Leadership Purple--Angelica & Jake Trust
*at the huts* Dana: We gave the Samadhi to the Yellow team 'cuz they sorta bring a lot of negative energy to the camp. Nicole: I don't know why this had to happen. What do these girls have against me? Skyler: It's like we're making friends with what everyone else thinks is the weakest one on the island. I realized this was happening 'cuz Nikki's not the total favorite around here. I just think if I had a more neutral girl for a partner, I wouldn't be in all this drama. *on the porch, Nicole & Nick are talking* Nicole: Emily & BreeAnn are totally evil, man! Nick: All the other girls are just jealous they they aren't with someone as hot like Skyler. Nicole: I'm only gonna trust Paige 'cuz she's a true BFF and she doesn't hang around those snobbish girls. Nick: Angelica, BreeAnn, Emily & Rori really hate Nicole. I think that's because she's always chasing the boys. Paige: I love Yellow. They're our friends and they'd never betray us. I want them to win today. I don't think it's REAL reasonable to believe that 4 girls are up against us.
*outside the huts* Angelica: Today's the first Temple Mission, and one of our best friends is most likely to leave 'cuz Yellow & Gray are mad at us for giving us the Samadhi. Cameron: I'm really worried for Gray & Yellow. It'd be good if they won. Because if they don't win, they could be up at the Temple and be cut there.
*the kids walk over to the challenge* JD: Hey, guys! You're all really concerned. You anxious to start the Temple Mission today? Teams: Yeah. JD: As you know, today's your first Temple Mission. The winner of this mission will have the power to send 2 teams to the Temple of Fate. Right then & there, one team will be eliminated from the game, their chances of being the Endurance champ diminished forever tonight. You wanna know how this mission goes? Kids: Yeah. JD: When I say go, you'll grab the sandbags over there and place them on the platforms by the shore. You'll only have 30 seconds to do that, as the 2nd part of this challenge is to load them onto the canoes by the lake. Then, you'll row them over to the platform on the far side of the lake, grab the flag, take the rope beneath the canoe and pull it back to shore and plant the flag on the platform here. The 1st team that gets their flag on the platform first wins the Temple Mission and the power to send 2 teams to the Temple of Fate. As you all know, 2 go up, but only 1 comes back. Yellow, you got the Samadhi and what was in it? Nicole: It's a 5 foot rope. JD: Your canoe is 5 feet from the shore. Alright now, let's get in position. *the kids are all ready to start* JD: On your mark, get set, GO!! *the kids grab the sandbags and places them on the 7 platforms, mainly Gray & Yellow* JD: Time's almost up! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Okay, now! Load 'em onto your canoes! *the teams load their sandbags into the canoes* JD: They're taking off! Whoa! Gray & Yellow have a lot of weight, their alliance was exposed and it musta proved costly for 'em. Fresh: Keep pulling, Rori! C'mon! JD: Blue & Red are fighting for the lead! Yellow & Gray are still loading! Paige: C'mon, Colin! Let's go! JD: Purple & Red just got their flags! Gray & yellow are taking off now! *Blue, Green & orange grab their flags* JD: Red & Green are tied on the way back! BreeAnn: Keep on it, Cam! You're almost there! *Red runs out and plants their flag* JD: Oh, that's it! Red team wins! Emily & Nick: Whoo! Yeah! JD: Red team, you now have the power to send 2 teams up to the Temple of Fate. 2 go up, but only one will come back. I'll see you later for your decision, okay? Bye, everyone! Emily: OMG, we totally did it!! Eeeee!!!! *inside the huts, Yellow, Gray, Blue & Orange are talking* Rori: Who do you think Emily would send? Dana: I think it'd be Gray & Yellow or Blue & Purple. Paige: I knew this was gonna happen. Nicole: I wish the other girls didn't hate me so much. *on the hammocks, Purple & Green are talking* Jake: I don't think Red would really send us, 'cuz, y'know, they're our closest allies. BreeAnn: But you were real close to winning, anyway. Just 'cuz you came close, it doesn't mean you're off to the Temple. *on the porch, Red is talking over their decision* Emily: So is it gonna be Gray & Yellow? Nick: no, I don't wanna send Nicole up, 'cuz she'd then become my enemy. Emily: You're friends with the enemy. Nick: This is just wonderful! *on the front steps, the teams are awaiting Red's decision* JD: Red team, you did awesome today. You blazed out there. But now, you have to choose 2 teams to go out to the Temple of Fate. Which teams are you sending? Nick: We're very sorry, but the 2 teams going to the Temple are Yellow... & Gray. Skyler: I knew it. JD: Yellow team, Gray team, you 2 have been selected to go to the Temple of Fate. You'll have to pack your belongings, say your goodbyes, we leave at sunset. *inside the huts, Yellow & Gray are packing their belongings* Skyler: If I leave, I'm givin' you my pieces, man. Colin: Same if that happens to me. Nicole: Why'd you have to send us? Emily: 'Cuz you and your partner haven't been useful to each other, and it'd be better if you we eliminated. Nicole: That's mean to say! Nick: i hated to do this, but I had to trust Emily. She's my partner, and we need each other. *the teams hug Gray & yellow* Kids: Bye! See ya! Paige: if I do come back, I wanna stop the alliance from getting rid of me. They've gotta go, once and for all.
*Gray & Yellow go thru the jungle and arrive at the Temple of Fate* JD: welcome to the Temple of Fate. This is the last place you ever wanna be on Endurance. Alright, now. Let's cut to the chase shall we? In front of you are 3 cauldrons. One that has fire, one that has water & one that has wood. You're gonna write one of those elements on a slab of wood and then I'll drop them back there in the burning kettle. As you all know, fire burns wood, wood floats on water, and water puts out the fire. Your goal is to outmaneuver you opponent by choosing the dominant element. the first team that does that twice automatically returns to the camp, and the other team will be taking the first plane back home. Go ahead and grab your first piece of wood. *The teams pick up pieces of wood and pulls out markers to write down the elements* Paige: What do ya think we oughta do? Colin: I'm thinking we do wood. Paige: You really sure? Colin: Yeah. Nicole: What element is good to do? Fire or Water? Skyler: Let's just pick one of those 2 and hope it favors us. *the teams hand the pieces to JD, who then drops them both into the burning kettle* JD: Alright, now. Can we please see who got the dominant element? Gray: Wood Yellow: Water JD: Gray team, you chose wood, Yellow team, you chose water. Wood floats on water, so that's one win for Gray. Yellow, one more loss, and you'll be eliminated from the game. Go ahead and grab your next piece of wood. Skyler: What do you wanna do now? Nicole: I'm thinking wood 'cuz I think they're gonna do water. Paige: Let's do fire. Colin: Are you totally sure about that? Let's just write an element down. *the teams hand JD the pieces which are then dropped into the burning kettle* JD: Gray, if you win, you're back to the beach. Yellow, you need to win to force the tiebreaker. Can we please see the dominant element rise now? Gray: Fire Yellow: Wood JD: Gray team, you chose fire, Yellow team, you chose wood. Fire burns wood, so Gray team, you're gonna spend a few more days on Endurance. Yellow team, I'm sorry to say this, but you've been eliminated. I'm sure that everyone is gonna be missing you. Go ahead and grabs your bags and leave. *Yellow evaporates into thin air behind the fire* JD: Gray team, I know it's bittersweet, but you're still on Endurance. Go get your things and head back to the beach. *The other 5 teams sit around the bonfire and see Gray coming back thru the path* Emily: It's Gray! Kids: Whoo! Yeah! Alright! *The 6 teams all hug each other, the camera fades into the dark sky*

ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
Color: Team Members: Piece: Green--BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline Gray----Paige & Colin Courage Blue----Rori & Fresh Knowledge Red----Emily & Nick Commitment Orange-Dana & Garrett Perserverance, Teamwork Purple--Angelica & Jake Trust
*the kids walk out of the huts to meet JD* JD: Hey guys, how ya doin? Teams: We're fine. JD: As we all know, we lost our first team last night. Paige, how'd it feel seeing Nicole leave? Paige: It was really hard seeing our only allies leave. JD: Well, they did leave their Leadership piece behind and a note. Colin, you wanna read the note? Colin: [reading out the note aloud] Dear everyone: We both had a phenomonal experience here. Red team, there's nothing wrong with what you did. Nick, I miss you lot. Green, Blue, Purple, you're all really strong, but you don't deserve our piece because you always ganged up on us. Gray team, you're our BFFs for life, and you can take the lead in the game. Thusly, you may have our piece. Yours Truly, The Yellow Team- Skyler & Nicole JD: And just like that, Gray team, you're now tied for the lead with Orange. Teams, we're gonna be playing another Endurance Mission today, except there's no Samadhi. But, I will tell you that it's something that could change the course of the game dramatically. See ya in a few hours. *the kids walk back into the huts* Rori: anyone feel bad that we targeted Yellow a lot? Nick: I do. I had to do 'cuz they were with the weakest team on the island. I couldn't betray Emily. Paige: You really shoulda thought the decision thru before you sent us up. jake: I think we need to win today or we'll be going up to the Temple with one of our 4 allies, which might be Blue or Green.
*the kids walk over to the mission* JD: Hey, guys! How ya doin'? Kids: Great. JD: As I said earlier today, we'd be competing not for a Samadhi, but power. And the power is to divide this camp into 2 SuperTeams, which is 6 vs. 6. Alright, let's get on with the mission, shall we? Kids: Yeah. JD: Today's challenge: One team member will stand over the water on a plank that's 20 kilometers above the lake. The teammates are gonna have to hold onto a rope on the shore. Now, if the plank falls, you're outta the game. The last team dry wins the Strength piece and the power to choose SuperTeams. Get in position. *the girls are all standing on the planks above the sea, while the boys hold on to the ropes by the shore* JD: On your mark, get set, GO!!!!!!!! *the boys sit down and hold on* Rori: Just stay calm, okay? Fresh: All right! *Cameron begins moving around* JD: Whoa! Green's moving around a lot! *Cameron lets go and BreeAnn falls into the water, screaming "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"* JD: Green team's out! Only 5 remain. *8 minutes pass by* JD: You've been holding on for 8 minutes! *Jake lets go of his rope and makes Angelica fall, screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"* JD: Purple's opting out! Blue team's making it look easy! *Fresh flashes a smile at Orange* JD: Colin! You just crossed the line! Let go! *Paige falls in screaming "AAAAAAAAHHHH!"* JD: You've been holding on for almost 15 minutes, guys! Now Red's struggling a lot! *Nick lets go and makes Emily fall into the water screaming "AAAAHHH!" JD: Nearly 30 minutes, guys! Down to 2 teams: Blue & Orange! Who will win the power to divide the camp? *Garrett lets go and makes Dana fall in screaming "WHOOAAAA!"* JD: That's it! Blue team wins!!!! *on the shore* JD: Blue team, you've definitely shifted power in this game. You get the Strength piece and the power to choose SuperTeams. I don't need to know who they're gonna be now, you can tell me later at the rock for decision. You're free to go.
*in the huts, Red, Orange & Green are talking* BreeAnn: Who do ya think they're gonna choose for SuperTeams? Dana: I don't know about y'all, but they are definitely not choosing us or Gray. Emily: I'm really worried now, 'cuz we are a strong team, and we're more of a bad target for winning yesterday. Dana: I wish they would choose me, but they are gonna rethink that and send us up to the Temple tomorrow! BreeAnn: This is hard to do.
*behing the huts, Blue is discussing their decision* Fresh: I think we're great on Purple & Red, aren't we? Rori: No! I don't want BreeAnn to hate me! Fresh: And why's that?! Rori: I'd never forgive you if we didn't have Purple & Green!! Fresh: I don't want us to be a threat tomorrow! 'Cause if we lose, we'll go up with one of our allies! Rori: AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can't you just listen TO ME??!!! Fresh: I'm outta here! The bottom line is we gotta win or we'll be cut in tomorrow's challenge!! *an outraged Fresh walks away*
*Gray & Red are talking on the hammocks* Nick: I think Green's outta the decision for Blue's behalf. Colin: Not really, no. Blue isn't working out well. They just broke into a row. *Fresh comes over to the hammocks* Fresh: I just can't trust Rori anymore. Nick: why? You needed each other today. Fresh: Y'all don't understand the problem Blue's goin' thru! We can't agree on having our friends on our SuperTeam or the outcast teams! Colin: It's awful, isn't it? Fresh: Oh yeah.
*the teams walk over to the rock where the Samadhi ceremonies take place* JD: Come on in, guys. Take a seat. You know what today's about, right? Kids: Yeah. JD: The Blue team's gotta choose 2 teams to join them for the SuperTeams. You know what happens tomorrow: You square off in another Temple Mission, where one SuperTeam will be invincible from elimination. The other SuperTeam: Not so good. 2 teams from the losing SuperTeam to go the Temple of Fate, where we'll have our 2nd elimination. Now, I've got a question for you. Close your eyes and raise your hand if you think there's alliances in this game. *7 hands shoot up into the air* JD: Wow, that's a lot! Why's that? Jacob: There's one big alliance 'round here. JD: What's that supposed to mean? Angelica: It means 4 teams are working with one another. JD: Who're they, anyway? Oh! Let me guess: Blue, Purple, Green & Red. Am I right? Teams: Yeah. JD: Now if there's 4-2 in this game, what's with Orange & Gray? Rori: It's sorta that Gray is stuck in multialliances with everyone. JD: Gray team, is that true? Paige: I don't think that's true "true", but we've needed a shoulder to lean since Yellow was kicked off last night. JD: Who've you relied on since Yellow was cut? Colin: We needed to stick together with Orange because they're outcasts, too. JD: So, Blue team, let's hear the 2 teams who will be joining you on the SuperTeams. Fresh: We chose it strategically. Rori: After changing our minds a lot, we chose... Green & Purple to be on our SuperTeam. JD: Green team, Purple team, I want you to go join Blue over there. Now there's 2 SuperTeams here. There's Blue, Green & purple, and there's Red, Orange & Gray. Everyone, tomorrow's another Temple Mission and another team will be leaving the island tomorrow night. See ya later, you can go. *the teams exit the rock*

Endurance: Santa Barbara- Episode 6: Loop It Up
JD, voiceover: Last time on Endurance: Santa Barbara: The teams competed for the power to select SuperTeams. The Blue team came out victorious, but soon was mangled apart by a row between the team. Tempers ran high at the ceremony, but in the end, it was blue who chose Green & purple to make up their SuperTeam. Now, the teams face their second elimination. Will Trust benefit one SuperTeam and cost the other SuperTeam hugely? Find out as we see who possesses the greatest endurance.
*birds chirp as the camera goes to the Temple from a lake view* 7 TEAMS *shows kids climbing a rock* 13 CHALLENGES *shows kids playing missions* 1 BEACH *shows a crow's nest view of the island* ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
Team Stats: Color: Team Members: Piece: Green---BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline Gray-------Paige & Colin Courage, Leadership Blue----Rori & Fresh Knowledge, Strength Red----Emily & Nick Commitment Orange-Dana & Garrett Perserverance, Teamwork Purple----Angelica & Jake Trust
*inside the huts* Paige: The mood around here is kinda mixed. One half is confident, and the other half is insecure. BreeAnn: We are gonna dominate today's game. Angelica: How's that gonna happen? BreeAnn: We're strong and the others are weak. Angelica: Just 'cuz we're strong, doesn't mean we'll win. BreeAnn: If Red, Gray & Orange win today, who do ya think they'll send? Angelica: I think Blue & Purple. That's because Blue is considered a beast and we're really good physically. BreeAnn: All I want is us to win.
*on the beach, Red & Orange are talking* Emily: So, don't y'all think we're gonna win today? Garrett: I think so. At least we have you 2! Nick: if we win, we oughta send Purple & Green. Dana: That's a really smart idea, but I'm pretty sure Green's gonna hate us if they're sent. Garrett: This'll be awesome!
*the kids walk over to the mission* JD: Hey, teams. How are ya? Kids: Okay. JD: Looking good in your SuperTeams. You wanna know what today's mission is? Kids: Yeah. JD: You're gonna be tied together with one leg. Now, you're gonna have to take this long multicolor rope and maneuver it thru the small loops from here to the triangle over there. When you get to the far side, come back doing the same thing again. The first SuperTeam to get the rope thru all 10 loops will be safe from elimination. The other one will be vulnerable for elimination. 2 teams from the opposing SuperTeam will be heading thru the jungle to the Temple of Fate. To win this, you're gonna have to trust each other. That's 'cuz the guide of your groups will be blindfolded. So, who will be the spotter for group A?
Paige: We chose Nick as our guide.
JD: Group B, who'll be your spotter?
Rori: Our guide's going to be Cameron.
JD: Okay, teams. Go get in position. *the teams are ready* JD: On your mark... Get set... Emily: Come on, you guys! JD: GO!!!! *the teams all run into the loop zone* BreeAnn: Go forward! Now, turn right! Fresh: It's right ahead of you! Emily: Right! Left! Colin: Push it thru! *Cameron & Nick maneuver the ropes thru their holes at the same time* Rori: Turn left, Cam! Jacob: You're in the right zone! Now, pull thru!! Dana: Left, Nick, LEFT!!! Garrett: Careful, careful, CAREFUL!!! *the teams collide at the 4th hole* JD: Looks like everyone's at the same call! They get thru the 5th hole and they're on they're on the way back! Angelica: STOP!!!! You're at a dead end! BreeAnn: Go right, Cam!!! Paige: C'mon, Nick! You're almost there!!! Colin: Go thru, Nick! We're gonna win!! JD: Oh! Red, Orange, Gray! You just won! You can take the blindfolds off now. You 3 will be immune to elimination! You've now got the power to send 2 teams from your opponents to the Temple of Fate. Power's shifted in this game, and you've been favored. I'll see ya later, you can all go.
*on the beach, Gray and Green are talking* Cameron: Who would you send? Colin: I'd do Blue & purple. Cameron: Why are y'all saying that? Colin: We're kinda good friends, and I can't handle you going to the Temple not 'cuz of us or the others. Cameron: I think Blue & Purple have an alliance. I think they really should be broken up. Colin: I thought they were with you & Red. cameron: So you've got the other 2 teams all figured out? Colin: So our SuperTeam splits up Blue & Purple...
*in the huts, Orange, Purple & Red are talking* Dana: We're gonna have to send Blue up. Angelica: Why'd you just say that? Emily: Everyone knows they're a really strong team. Dana: It's smart to send you & Blue up, ain't it? Angelica: You're so stupid to send us to the Temple! Emily: We gotta do something...
*on the huts' porch* JD: You 3 did really good today. But, now, you're gonna have to send 2 of the teams in front of you to the Temple of Fate. So, who have you decided to send? Nick: I'm sorry, but we're sending Blue & Purple. *Rori & BreeAnn start to cry* JD: Alright, now. Blue team, purple team. You've been selected to go up the Temple of Fate. You'll have to pack your belongings, say your good-byes, we leave at dusk.
*inside the huts, Purple & Blue are packing their bags* Rori, sobbing: I can't think of one good reason for our allies to send us! Fresh: I don't really think it's fair for Red to do this. Jacob: They did what they had to do, and that's that. BreeAnn, crying: Out of all the people I'll miss tonight if Blue or Purple leaves, I'll miss Rori the most. She's my only friend around here, and it's so malicious to see that your only BFF is leaving and the fact that we'll be miserable no matter what. *the teams all hug Blue & Purple* Angelica: If I come back, the first thing I wanna do is cut Orange. Jacob: Red went too far this time, and they'll pay a bad price if either of us returns.
*Blue & Purple go thru the jungle to the Temple of Fate* JD: welcome to the Temple of Fate. This is the most dreaded place ever on Endurance. For one you'll come back to the beach. The other one will be banished from the island forever. In front of you are 3 cauldrons: one that has fire, one that has water, and the other has wood. You're gonna write one of those elements on a piece of wood and then I'll drop the choices back there into the burning kettle of fire. As we all know, fire burns wood, wood floats on water, and water puts out the fire. Your job is to outsmart your opponent by picking the dominant element. The first team to do that twice will be instantly going back to camp. The other team will be banished from the island forever. Go ahead and grab your first piece of wood. *the teams pick up pieces of wood and pulls out markers to write down their choices* Fresh: What's a smart choice? Rori: I wanna do wood. Just write it down and give it to JD. Angelica: I'll do fire. Jacob: I don't wanna do that. Let's choose wood or water. *the teams hand their pieces to JD, who then drops their choices into the burning kettle* JD: Okay, now. Can we please see who choose the dominant element? Blue: Water Purple: Fire JD: Blue team, you picked water. Purple team, you picked fire. Water puts out the fire, Blue team, you just won. Purple team, one more loss, and you'll be eliminated immediately. Go on and grab another piece of wood. Angelica: What do you want? Jacob: we should do fire or water. Fresh: We gotta do either wood or fire. Rori: I'll take that as a yes on the first one. *the teams hand their choices to JD who then drops them into the burning kettle* JD: Blue team, you win this one, you'll be going back to camp. Purple team, you need to win to force a tiebreaking round. Let's figure out who chose the dominant element. Blue: Wood Purple: Fire JD: Purple team, you chose fire. Blue team, you chose wood. Fire burns wood, so it's tied now. Go ahead and pick up your last piece of wood. Rori: You wanna stick with wood? Fresh: Not really. Angelica: Let's go with water. Jacob: Great idea. *the teams hand their choices to JD who then drops them into the burning kettle* JD: Okay. Whoever wins will be go back to the beach, the other will be going home. Can we please see the dominant element rise? Blue: Wood Purple: Water JD: Blue team, you chose wood. Purple team, you chose water. Wood floats on water, so Blue team, you'll be going back to the beach. Purple team, I'm sorry to say, you'll be going home. I know everyone at the beach will be missing you. Go grab your bags and leave. *Purple evaporates into thin air behind the fire* JD: Blue team, all I can say is: You get to spend a few more days on Endurance. Go get your stuff and head back to the huts. *the other 4 teams sit around the bonfire and see Blue coming back thru the path* BreeAnn: Ohmigod, IT'S BLUE!!! *the teams cheer and all hug Blue* Kids: Yes!! Oh, YEAH!!!!!!!!! Nothing can stop us! *the camera fades into the moonless sky*

Endurance: Santa Barbara- Episode 7: Watergate
JD, voiceover: Last time on Endurance: Santa Barbara... The SuperTeams squared off in another Temple Mission. The strong teams of Green, Purple & Blue were no match for the outsider teams of Gray, Red & Orange. In the end, the outcast SuperTeam chose to send 2 loyal friends to the Temple of Fate. At the Temple, Blue conquered over their allies, making Purple the second team eliminated from the game. Today, the teams face a critical mission which will end in dire consequences for one team. Which team will Luck benefit greatly? Find out as we see who possesses the greatest endurance.
*birds chirp as the camera goes to the Temple from a lake view* 7 TEAMS *shows kids climbing a rock* 13 CHALLENGES *shows kids playing missions* 1 BEACH *shows a crow's nest view of the island* ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
Team Stats: Color: Team Members: Piece: Green---BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline Gray---Paige & Colin Courage, Leadership Blue---Rori & Fresh Knowledge, Strength Red----Emily & Nick Commitment Orange-Dana & Garrett Perserverance, Teamwork
*the kids go out to the cabin front steps to see JD, who's holding Purple's piece and a note* JD: hey, guys! Come on and take a seat. As we all know, Purple was eliminated at Temple last night. It was an emotional Temple. Angelica didn't really wanna leave, anyway. But, what I do have is their piece and a note. BreeAnn, you wanna read it? BreeAnn: [reading the note aloud]
Dear friends:
You're all like a family to us. We may have always been strong, but we still stayed loyal to our original alliance with Green, Blue & Red. Orange, Gray, we really loved you and there's nothing wrong whatsoever with what you did. We expected to go to the final 3, but elimination knifed us in the back. You're all awesome and we couldn't really choose one particular team. But, we think the... Blue team deserves our piece. Use it well and be trustworthy of your friends and enemies. Lots of love, The Purple Team- Angie & Jake
JD: Blue team, with that piece, you're in the lead. You've now got 3 pieces, Orange & Gray have 2 pieces, and Red & green have only 1. Now, I've got a twist today. Endurance means coming in first and getting all 14 pieces, right? Kids: Yeah. JD: Well, today is gonna be critical. Today you'll try not to come in last place. Because the team in last place will automatically be one of the 2 teams selected to trek up to the Temple of Fate tomorrow. And there's another thing. The Samadhi today is gonna be like no other. Get stoked for the mission today, I'll see you in a few hours.
*the teams all walk back into the huts* Rori: OMG!!! Fresh: Nick, you're a backstabber! You're real strong and you're the biggest threat around here! BreeAnn: We still trusted you! I stuck up for you, Emily, and that's how you REPAY ME?!! With a knife in our back?! I am never talking to Red again! THIS ALLIANCE IS OVER!!!!! Nick: We now have an alliance with Gray. Since we knew that the alliance would disband after last night. Paige: I wanna win SO BADLY that it's not even funny. I just want this game to kinda change up everything. We can just end the alliance that was broken last night by sending Green & Red up to the Temple of Fate.
*the teams walk over to the mission* JD: Hey guys! Left y'all with some terrible news this morning, a'ight? Kids: Yeah. JD: Well, it's gonna be tougher today. As I said, whoever comes in first place will get another pyramid piece and the Samadhi, last place would automatically go up to Temple the next night. Do you wanna know about today's mission? Kids: Yeah. JD: In this challenge, you're gonna grab the piece of canvas behind you, take them down to the lake, scoop out water and run back and dump it into your barrel. If it falls and spills out, go back to the lake and refill it again. The first team to get their barrel filled to the rim with water will win the Luck piece and this... the very powerful dreaded Samadhi. Rori: I wanna know what it is! JD: You wanna know? So we'll break it open now. *JD smashes the Samadhi and a replica of the pyramid pieces on Endurance fall out* JD: These represent pyramid pieces on Endurance. The team that wins will have the opportunity to clear another team's pieces and add them to their piece count. So, now you know. Winner gets the ability to take another team's pieces, last place team will journey up to Temple the following evening. Let's get ready. *the teams are ready to play* JD: On your mark... Get set... Emily: You can do it! JD: GO!!!!!! *the teams run to the shallow water and scoop up the first amount of water* JD: There they go, at the same pace! BreeAnn: Make sure it all gets in! JD: Oh! Orange took a nasty spill! You gotta go back and get it! Fresh: Careful, careful! Don't lose it, Rori, okay? JD: Blue, Green & Gray are coming on strong! Looks like Red team's taken the lead! Nick: Don't miss it, Em! Don't miss it! Emily: I'll try not to! JD: One more scoop, and Red is gonna win! Oh! Red's in 1st place! *Blue runs back and finishes their part in the game* JD: Blue scores 2nd place! Orange has 2 to go! Gray & Green are having a tough time getting the final 3 scoops in! Colin: Slow & steady, Paige, slow & steady, girl! *Orange finishes their division in the game* JD: Orange just got 3rd place! Now it's down to 2 teams: Gray & Green. Whoever gets the water in the barrel will be staying, the other goin' up to Temple the next day. *Gray gets the water in the barrel* JD: Whoa, that's it!! *on the shore* JD: This was an awesome game. The leads changed hands a lot. One minute, it's Blue in front, the other, it's Red. And now, Red's sorta coming up strong. Red team, you won today. You get the power to take away another team's pieces. Now, here's something new. You may choose to keep it or give it to someone else. what're you gonna do? Nick: We're not gonna keep it. JD: okay, now. Green team, you came in last place. I'm sorry to say, you guys'll be facing elimination at the Temple of Fate tomorrow night. the only way you can avoid this outcome is if you win tomorrow. Then you'll be able to send 2 other teams to the Temple. Red team, I'll see ya later for the decision. See ya later.
*Blue, Orange & Red are talking on the beach* Nick: I'm so amazed to have gotten such an awesome Samadhi like that. But I'm real worried that we're gonna be targeted tomorrow by the team we take their pieces from. Emily: I love having a good power, but it kinda sucks at the same time. Dana: Why's it feel bad? Emily: Green is gonna hate us even more if we take theirs or Blue's pieces. Fresh: I think it's good having that, but you gotta think this thru, or there's gonna be a LOT of hate in this group. Garrett: I wish Gray would lose their pieces. Rori: Why? Garrett: They're not too strong, just look how they did today. I'm sure they're going to go to Temple with Green tomorrow.
*in the huts, Green team is talking* BreeAnn: I'm REAL upset that we lost today. Cameron: Never mind that. We really oughta worry about Red's decision. Now this is why we broke our alliance. Now that we're facing elimination tomorrow, they're praying for us to leave. BreeAnn: Who do you think Red would take pieces from? Cameron: I think Blue or Orange. BreeAnn: Why them? Cameron: They've started to become really strong, and Red doesn't like it. BreeAnn, starting to cry: I don't wanna go home. Cameron: Me neither. But it'll be hard to leave just as it'll be to return.
*the teams walk over to the rock where the Samadhi ceremonies take place* JD: hey guys. Come and take a seat. Now, let's talk about what happened today. Red team has the power to take another team's pieces; Green team's trekking up to Temple tomorrow. Amazing what I saw today. Now I noticed that Red was goin' really quick and accurate. Red team, how do you feel using that strategy? Emily: I feel confident using that strategy. Nick: It's like teamwork's suddenly started making us win challenges. JD: Let's move onto Green. They obviously came in last place and are at the brink of elimination tomorrow. Green team, how's it feel to be in such a bad position? Cameron: It stinks knowing you might not return to the island tomorrow. BreeAnn: I feel really depressed knowing I won't be in such a miraculous place like this again in my life. JD: Don't worry about it. The only way you won't go up is if you win tomorrow. Now I notice that one player in particular has been really lost in multi-alliances. Orange, how does it feel to be in the middle of that? Dana: I think that's really unprofessional. JD: Dana, I haven't seen you speak up much. Why'd you just say that? Dana: It's 'cuz Garrett is always switching sides. One time, he's supporting Gray & Yellow, the next time he's supporting Red, Blue & Green. JD: garrett, do you feel guilty? Garrett: I, in reality, do. I do this because I love all of you, and it's hard to join someone one day, and then betray 'em the next. JD: Okay, now. Let's get to business. Red team, which team have you decided to give the Samadhi to? Nick: We're sorry, but we're giving it to Blue. *Red hands Blue the Samadhi* JD: Okay, here's a twist. You can take another team's pieces and give it to another team. It may not sound great, but it's gotta be done. Blue team, who will be losing their pieces? Fresh: We're gonna take Orange's piece and give it to Red. JD: Red team, go over to the poles and take Orange's pieces and add 'em to your count. *Red removes the Teamwork piece form the Orange pole* JD: Alrighty, then. Teams, tomorrow is another Temple Mission, and one more team will be leaving Santa Barbara forever. For one of you, you'll be spending your last night here. You're free to go. *the teams leave the rock* Dana: i was shocked. I mean, why us? Garrett: Someone'll have to send 'em home, and I wanna see to it that I send 'em home.

Endurance: Santa Barbara-Episode 8: You've Been Fired!
JD, voiceover: Last time on Endurance: Santa Barbara... The Superteams were dissolved, leaving the teams to fend for themselves. The Green Team came in last place and was guaranteed to go up to the Temple of Fate. The red Team kicked it into high gear and won a very powerful Samadhi. In the end, Blue took Orange's pieces. Today, the teams face another elimination. Blue & Red are in the lead with 3 pieces, Gray & Orange have 2, and Green is last with 1. Who has the Strength to stay on the beach? Find out as we see who possesses the greatest endurance.
*birds chirp as the camera goes to the Temple from a lakeview* 7 TEAMS *shows kids climbing a rock* 13 CHALLENGES *shows kids playing missions* 1 BEACH *shwos a crow's nest view of the island* ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
Team Stats: Color: Team Members: Piece: Green-----BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline Gray------Paige & Colin Courage, Leadership Blue-----Rori & Fresh Knowledge, Strength, Trust Red-------Emily & Nick Commitment, Luck, Perserverance Orange---Dana & Garrett Teamwork
*inside the huts* Emily: Today, everyone's kinda laid-back. But, today's a Temple Mission. So we're all hoping to win. BreeAnn: I know there's a lot of nervousness around. The Green Team is going up to Temple unless we win. I don't have anything to expect, but I wanna win 'cuz I'll stop myself from trekking up tonight. Rori: I think the strategy to not be eliminated is to win.
*the teams walk over to the mission* JD: How's everyone doin'? Kids: Great. JD: As you all know, elimination is at stake for today. Green Team, this is VERY crucial for you. You gotta win to avoid being one of the 2 teams goin' up to Temple. You wanna know what today's Temple Mission is? Kids: Yeah. JD: Today's mission is: One player from each team will stand on a tiny platform out in the water, with a set of triangles above them. The player on shore will shoot a cannonball towards the triangle to make it fall out. The other player will then try to catch it and eliminate someone who missed the triangle. The last team standing will win the power to send another team to the Temple with the Green Team unless they win. Okay, teams, let's get in position. *the girls all stay on shore while the guys stand on the platforms* JD: On your mark... Get set... GO!!!! *the girls all shoot, Orange & Blue miss while Red gets it* JD: Are ya kiddin' me? Red team got it! Alright now, who're you gonna eliminate? Nick: We're gonna eliminate a team that'll do good in the game... so we'll eliminate the Gray team. *Colin jumps off the platform* JD: Gray team, you're outta the game. Okay, now. Shoot! *the girls fire another ball, Green catches it* JD: Whoa!!! Green team has it! Okay, now. Green Team, who're you gonna cut? Cameron: We're gonna eliminate... The Orange team. *Garrett jumps off the platform* JD: Orange is out of today's game. 1, 2,3... Shoot!!! *the girls launch another one, Blue catches their triangle* JD: Wow!!! Blue has it! Now, Blue Team, who're you gonna eliminate? Fresh: We're sorry, but we're eliminating Green. *Cameron jumps off the platform* JD: Sorry, Green Team. You're automatically going up to Temple tonight. You did a good job, okay? It now comes down to the strongest team and the team that got the Samadhi. Whoever gets it on the target will win, alright? On your mark, get set, SHOOT!!! *the girls shoot and miss twice, but on the 3rd try, Red grabs the triangle* JD: Oh! That's it! Red won!!! *everyone cheers* JD: Red team, I'm really proud of you. This is your second mission in a row that you've won. Now, you've got the power to send another team to the Temple with Green. I'll see ya later for your decision.
*inside the girls' hut* BreeAnn: I feel kinda sad knowing that I have to go up and not see my friends. Dana: I can't believe we've become a target! I mean, we've won a mission, we lost our pieces! Why does everyone hate us?! Emily: If you go up, I really want you to come back, BreeAnn. BreeAnn: Same thing if you got sent up by Blue or Gray. Paige: No one hates you, Dana. They're just jealous of your teamwork. Rori: Yeah, we're all teenagers who are playing a game to get the grand prize. *the girls all hug*
*inside the guys' hut* Cameron: If I go, I'll leave my piece to Gray or Blue. Fresh: Thanks, man. I'm sorry for what I said to you, Nick. Nick: Yeah, I'd expect one of our original allies to get their pieces. Colin: I don't wanna go back to the Temple. Garrett: No one wants to do that to ya, man.
*on the cabin steps, the teams are awaiting Red's decision* JD: amazing what I saw out there today. Red team made it look really easy. It's like they're becoming the strongest team. Alright, now. Red team, which team have you chosen to go the Temple with Green? Emily: We love all of you like family, but we're sending Orange. JD: Orange team, Green team, you'll have a few hours to pack your belongings, say your goodbyes, we leave at sunset.
*inside the huts, Green & Orange are packing up* Cameron: If I come back, I wanna take a great step up in the game. Dana: I don't think it was really smart to send us up, d'you think? Nick: No, 'cuz you were always a strong threat, you made the others teams scared of you. Dana: Y'all are gullible to send the strongest and weakest teams up. *the teams all hug Orange & Green* Garrett: If I come back, the first thing I'll try to do is eliminate Red. BreeAnn: I'm not exactly mad "mad", but I am sad and upset. I really wanna stay. It's not funny how bad I wanna win.
*Green & Orange traverse thru the jungle and arrive at the Temple of Fate* JD: Welcome to the Temple of Fate. This is the most feared place on Endurance. In a few moments, one team will be leaving Santa Barbara forever. Now, let's get down to business. In front of you are 3 cauldrons: one that has fire, one that has water, and one that has wood. You'll write down one of those elements on a pice of wood, and then I'll drop 'em back there into the burning kettle. As we know: fire burns wood, wood floats on water, and water puts out the fire. You're gonna have to outsmart you're opponent by picking the dominant element. The first team that does that twice will be heading back to camp. The other team will be taking the first plane home immediately. Go ahead and grab your first piece of wood. *the teams pick up pieces of wood and use markers to write down their choices* BreeAnn: I think something good would have to be water. Cameron: Yeah, let's do that. Dana: We really should do wood or water. Garrett: Alright, let's write an element down and see if fate favored us. *the teams hand their choices to JD, who then drops them into the burning kettle* JD: Okay, now. Can we please see who had the dominant element? Green: Water Orange: Fire JD: Orange team, you had fire. Green team, you had water. Water puts out the fire, so that's one win for you. Orange team, one more loss, and you'll be going home. Go on and grab another piece of wood. *the teams pick up their second piece* BreeAnn: I think we should stick with water. Is that a good plan? Cameron: Yeah, that's a really awesome plan. Dana: I really wanna do wood or do fire again. Garrett: Well I say we should do water. *the teams hand their choices to JD, who then drops them into the burning kettle* JD: Green team, if you win, you're headed back to stay on Endurance. Orange team, you've gotta win this to force a tiebreaking round. Let's find out who had the dominant element. Green: Water Orange: Wood JD: orange team, you had wood. Green team, you had water. Wood floats on water, so it's now tied with one round apiece. This last one will decide who stays and who goes. Go get another piece of wood. *the teams pick up their 3rd piece of wood* BreeAnn: We should do what we did in the first round. Cameron: Sounds good to me. Dana: We need to do fire or wood, most likely fire. Garrett: I can't believe I'm saying this, but fine. *the teams hand their pieces to JD, who then drops them in the burning kettle* JD: Okay, now. Let's see who had the dominant element. Green: Water Orange: Fire JD: Green team, you picked water. Orange team, you picked fire. Water puts out the fire, Green team, you've been guaranteed a couple more days on Endurance. Orange team, you've got a lot to be proud of. Just surviving out here in the wilderness has proven that you guys have true endurance. Go ahead and get your bags and leave. *Orange evaporates into thin air behind the fire* JD: Green team, you must feel good to be going back. You were close to elimination yesterday, but fate decided your outcome. Go back and let 'em know who came back. *the other 3 teams sit around the bonfire and see Green coming back thru the path* Paige: It's green!! *the 4 teams all hug each other, the camera fades into the black sky*

Endurance: Santa Barbara-Episode 9: Five of a Kind
JD, voiceover: Last time on Endurance: Santa Barbara... The teams squared off in another Temple Mission. The red team came out victorious, and emotions ran high. In the end, it was Orange that went up to the dreaded Temple of Fate with Green. At the Temple, the Green Team overcame fate, making Orange the 3rd team eliminated from the game. Now, the teams face another Endurance Mission and the power of the Samdhi. Who will have the most heart, and who will sink to the ditch of bad friendship? Find out as we see who possesses the greatest endurance.
*birds chirp as the camera goes to the Temple from a lakeview* 7 TEAMS *shows kids climbing a rock* 13 CHALLENGES *shows kids playing missions* 1 BEACH *shows a crow's nest view of the island* ENDURANCE: SANTA BARBARA
Team Stats: Color: Team Members: Piece: Green------BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline Gray------Paige & Colin Courage, Leadership Blue-----Rori & Fresh Knowledge, Strength, Trust Red------Emily & Nick Commitment, Luck, Teamwork
*on the huts' steps* JD: Come out. Now, let's get down to business here. As you know, we lost another team last night. The Orange team. Now, they may be gone, but you shouldn't forget 'em. They left behind their Perserverance piece and a note. Rori, why don't you read it out? Rori: [reading the note aloud] Dear everybody, You've all been a really great group of kids and we miss you a lot. Red team, you had the guts to send us, and that was really brave. Blue team, there's nothing wrong with what you did. The team that deserves to go further is Green, so they'll get our piece. Your Friends For Life, Dana & Garrett- The Orange Team JD: Okay, that was a shocker. Green Team, you finally have another piece. That puts you in a tie with Gray, who's got 2 pieces. Red & Blue have 3. Now, as we all know, you'll be playing for another piece and the Samadhi. I'll see ya in a couple of hours.
*the kids walk back into the huts* BreeAnn: I'm so happy that I finally got a piece! I wanna win today, y'know? Cameron: But who would we give the Samadhi to? Fresh: I think either Red or gray. BreeAnn: NO! I would never stab Emily in the back like that!
*on the hammocks, Emily, BreeAnn & Rori are talking* Rori: If I won today, I'd try and get rid of the weakest teams. Emily: Who are they? Rori: Green & Gray. BreeAnn: You swore that you wouldn't betray the original alliance when we started! Rori: So? BreeAnn: Paige needs a BFF, and you 2 don't ever wanna stick up for her! Sorry, but, If I win tomorrow, Red and Blue are gonna be sent because you've been sabotaging the alliance and that isn't reasonable to let alone do that.
*the kids walk over to the mission* JD: Hey guys. How's everyone doin'? Kids: Great. JD: Today, is in fact, another Endurance Mission. You'll be playing for the Heart piece and this... *everyone gasps* JD: The dreaded Samadhi. The team that gets this will be handicapped severely in tomorrow's Temple Mission. You wanna know about today's game? Kids: Yeah. JD: This challenge is called Five of a Kind. When I say go, you're gonna use the bowls in front of you to launch 5 balls at the 5 borders throughout the challenge. When you've gotten all of 'em, grab the flag and pull the sled across the sand and plant your flag. The first team to come back and plant their flag wins this and the Samadhi. Alright, let's get in position. *the teams get on their triangles and grab their bowls & balls* JD: On your mark... Get set... GO!!! *the teams launch their balls* JD: Looks like Green's taking the lead! They're on fire! Cameron: Do it quick, Bree! Do it quick! JD: The other 3 are coming on strong! Looks like Gray's having a lot of trouble! Paige: Do it more carefully, Colin! JD: One more, and Green will be on their way to winning! *Green gets their last one and grabs their flag, Blue & Red get the last balls at the same time* JD: Get on the sled, guys! Get on and run back! *BreeAnn sits on the sled while Cameron pulls her back* BreeAnn: Wait! Don't crash! JD: Gray is still getting their 4th one! Here comes Green, 2 ft. away! *Cameron runs right onto the triangle* JD: Oh, that's it! Green team won this thing! Green team, in just one day, you've gone from being up at Temple, facing elimination, to getting the lead. You've got the Heart piece, and more importantly, this: the dreaded Samadhi. Later on today, you'll be giving this to one of the other 3 teams. Power's shifted, and you guys are in control. I'll see ya later for your decision.
*inside the huts, Green & Red are talking* Cameron: I'm so happy to have won today. Nick: So am I. In retrospect, I think Blue's really strong, and we need to get rid of 'em. Cameron: I don't wanna eliminate our friends! Nick: The bottom line is, one of us strongest teams need to steamroll tomorrow's game, or we'll both get sent to Temple. Cameron: This is really bad.
*on the hammocks, Emily, Fresh & Paige are talking* Emily: If we win tomorrow, we're sending Green & Blue. Paige: Why would you send the strongest teams? The others want us gone 'cuz we're weak. Fresh: I think the smart thing would have to be giving the Samadhi to Gray so they won't win. Emily: I think that's mean & dumb. Fresh: Why're you thinking that? Emily: We would never choose winning over friendship, and we'd seek more revenge if we got the Samadhi. Paige: I dunno what's gonna happen tonight.
*the teams walk over to the rock where Samadhi ceremonies take place* JD: Come on in and take a seat. It's coming down to the wire, now that there's only 8 of you. We started out with 20, but now there's only 8 left. You've been out here for weeks. Look around you. This scene is blooming with life. But, you're gonna need to work harder in the next few challenges ahead of you. Now, about today's challenge: out of nowhere, the Green team was suddenly working well together. Most of the time, you've always come in 1st or 2nd place. how'd you pull it off? BreeAnn: Well, we communicated greatly with each other, and that's why we won. JD: Wow! That's something I never knew before. Now, Red team, for days, you were like the strongest team around here. But today, it feels like you've sunk from a tailspin. How do you feel about it? Nick: It kinda sucks, y'know. Green, if we get the Samadhi, I won't hold a grudge against you. Cameron: I forgive ya, man. JD: Alrighty, then. Now, Green Team, your decision could guarantee another team's loss tomorrow. Which team have you decided to give the Samadhi to? BreeAnn: We love all of you like family, but we're giving it to... the Red team. *BreeAnn hands the Samadhi to Emily* JD: Okay, now. Red team, you're gonna be seriously handicapped in tomorrow's Temple Mission. Doesn't mean you're gonna lose it'll just make the game a little harder for you. Go ahead and break it open. *Nick smashes the Samadhi open and JD picks up a scroll from the rubble* JD: Oh, he smashed it, alright! Here's what it is: it's a clock, and the arrow's pointed at the 6. This means you'll have a 30 second disadvantage in tomorrow's game. Teams, tomorrow is another elimination, and by the end of tomorrow, the 4 teams in front of me will become the final 3. See ya later. You can leave. Nick: I hope we overcome the Samadhi, 'cuz if we don't, we'll probably get sent. Paige: I really wanna win tomorrow, 'cuz I'm still on the weakest team and I'm not ready to go back to temple, mentally, physically, emotionally. I just can't afford to go home.

Endurance: Santa Barbara-Episode 10: Decoded
JD, voiceover: Last time on Endurance: Santa Barbara... The teams competed in another Endurance Mission. The Green Team came back with a vengeance, while the others struggled to stick up for them. In the end, it was the strongest team that got the Samadhi. Today, the teams face another Temple Mission. Who has the Knowledge to stay in the game? Find out today as we see who possesses the greatest endurance.
Team Stats: Color: Team Member: Piece: Green----BreeAnn & Cameron Discipline, Perserverance, Heart Gray------Paige & Colin Courage, Leadership Blue------Rori & Fresh Knowledge, Strength, Trust Red------Emily & Nick Commitment, Luck, Teamwork
*inside the huts* Rori: Today's another Temple Mission, which is making everyone nervous. I don't wanna think about going home. Nick: We got the Samadhi yesterday, which means we'll need to work harder than we usually do. Cameron: I feel confident today. If either us or Blue wins today, we'll be safe, and we won't go home today.
*the kids walk over to the mission* JD: How's everybody doing? Kids: Great. JD: Well, now I see 4 teams in front of me, but by tonight, we'll be down to only 3. Must be nerve-wracking, isn't it? Kids: Yeah. JD: So here's today's mission. In front of you is an area of sand with 10 puzzle pieces buried in it. When I say go, you're gonna have to dig thru the sand to find the puzzle pieces. When you find all 10, they'll form a word, which is a name for one of our pyramid pieces. The first team the figure out the name wins the power to send 2 teams to the Temple of fate. Red team, you got the Samadhi yesterday, which means you'll have to wait 30 seconds after everyone starts. Okay, everyone, let's get in position. *The teams all get in front of the burial site* JD: On your mark, get set, go!!! *A clock appears, Gray, Blue & Green are digging while Red waits* JD: Red team's gotta wait 30 seconds to start! It's 10 to 30, you're almost ready! And.... Go, Red, you can play now! *Red begins digging for the puzzle pieces* JD: Green and Blue are blazing! Fresh: We're almost done, Rori! Just follow my lead! JD: Whoa! The Red & Blue teams have unearthed the last piece, while Green's on the 9th, and Gray's on the 8th! Oh, Blue's alomst done spelling it out! *The word on the board reveals... Friendship* JD: Alright, Blue! What's the word? Rori: It's Friendship! JD: That's right! Blue team wins! *Green cheers and hugs Blue* JD: Congrats, Blue! You're definitely not goin' home for the next few days. It may feel good, but 2 of the other 3 teams behind you will be headed up to Temple tonight. You don't need to tell me now, you can inform me a few hours later. You're all free to go.
*behind the huts, Gray & Green are talking* BreeAnn: I'm really confident that Blue wouldn't send us. Paige: Well, I'm not. Neither one on Blue really likes me, especially Rori. BreeAnn: It's just that Blue still hates you for splitting up their friendship with Purple. Paige: I thought Fresh and I made up after that! BreeAnn: Well, friendships change a lot. Paige: This sucks really bad.
*on the beach, Blue is discussing their decision* Rori: I'm 100% sure we should send Gray. Fresh: Yeah, that's really good! But, we gotta send one of our original allies up. Rori: I'm not eager to send Green, 'cuz they have our backs. Fresh: It's not about friends anymore, it's now about winning. We need to get rid of the weakest team, fast. Rori: I think this is gonna give us more enemies once we see who comes back.
*on the steps, the teams are awaiting Blue's decision* JD: Alright, now. Blue team, today was sorta like your lucky day. Most of the time, you laid low, didn't win much, but today, like the weather, the power changed. 2 of the teams in front of me will be headed up to Temple, where one of you will be eliminated. Blue team, which of the 2 teams have you chosen to go thru the jungle to Temple? Fresh: This was based off of winning over friendship. We're really sorry if any of you are mad at us, but we're sending... Rori: Red & Gray. JD: Red team, Gray team, you've been selected to go up to Temple. You're gonna have a few hours to pack your belongings, say your goodbyes, we leave at sunset.
*inside the huts, Red & Gray are packing their belongings* Nick: Gotta do what ya gotta do, man. Fresh: Yeah... I really want you to come back. We're praying with double P's that you return. Nick: We knew from the beginning that at least 2 or 3 of us were gonna be in the final 3, and I want that to come true.
*outside the huts, everyone is hugging Red & Gray* Colin: It feels really crazy to go back to the Temple. All I want is to win and be in the final 2. Emily: If I come back, I'll try and get rid of Blue. They're a little too strong, and the others feel intimidated. Nick: We're so lucky to be one of a billion kids who've tried out for this, and I think that's the best thing to be a player out of so many kids who wanted this badly. Emily: This is the best experience I've ever had in my life. It's made me a better person and if I leave tonight, I did my best and I made so many accomplishements that I won't achieve again.
*Red & Gray go thru the jungle and arrive at the Temple of fate* JD: Welcome to the Temple of Fate. This is the most feared place on Endurance. In a few moments, one of you will be returning to camp, the other one will be goin' home. Gray team, this is familiar territory for you. You defeated a team once, we'll see if you can do it again. Red team, it's your first trip. Okay, let's get to business, shall we? In front of you are 3 cauldrons: one that has fire, one that has water, and one that has wood. You'll write down one of those elements on a piece of wood, and then I'll drop them back there into the burning kettle. As we know: fire burns wood, wood floats on water, and water puts out the fire. You're gonna have to outsmart your opponent, read their minds. The first team to do that twice will be staying on Endurance, the other team will never set foot on the island again. Go ahead and grab your first piece of wood. *the teams pick up their pieces and pull out markers to write down their choices* Nick: I think we should do wood. Emily: Let's go for it. Paige: Shhhh! Don't show it, don't show it. Colin: Okay, I won't. *the teams hand their choices to JD, who then drops them in the burning kettle* JD: Alrighty then. Can we please see who had the dominant element? Red: Wood Gray: Water JD: Red team, you picked wood, Gray team, you picked water. Wood floats on water, that's one win for you, Red. Gray team, you need to win the next one to stay in the game. Go ahead and grab your next piece of wood. *the teams pick up another piece of wood* Nick: Let's do wood again. Emily: Great idea. Paige: Methinks they're doin' fire, so let's do water or wood. Colin: I think we'll do wood. *the teams hand their choices to JD, who then drops them into the burning kettle* JD: Okay, this is critical. Red team, you win this one, you're staying in the game. Gray team, you need to win to force a tiebreaker. Let's figure out who got the dominant element. Red: Wood Gray: Water
JD: The same as the first: Red team, you had wood, Gray team, you had water. Wood floats on water, Red team, you get to be in the final 3. Gray team, you've got a lot to be proud of. You, outta thousands of kids who auditioned for this, made it. You were the 1st team, you survived the Temple, so you should be happy in yourself. Go grab your bags and head on home. *Gray evaporates into thin air behind the flames* JD: Red team, I know it feels a little bittersweet for ya. Especially for you, Emily. You were BFF's with paige. Doesn't mean you need to forget her. All you gotta do now is head back to camp and show 'em who came back. *the other 2 teams sit around the bonfire and see Red coming down the path* Rori: It's Red, everyone! Nick: I'm back, baby! YEAH!!! *the teams all cheer and hug Red while the camera fades into the pillar at the Temple of fate*
