How would perceptions change if the runner-up won?

I saw this question on another forum about what Eurovision songs would have a different perception if they had won instead, so I'd figure I'd apply to Endurance champions. How would discourse over the season they were in change?

E1 (Jon and Sabrina): I don't think Endurance would last for another season if this happened! While Yellow was a good team in the missions and had a good hold on the strategic game, Sabrina's tactics would be almost in open defiance of what J.D. wanted to teach (as much she's a reality TV icon). Also, Aaron and Jonna were just the dominant team all season, so it feels like they would be robbed here. (On the other hand, I wonder how many phone calls Sabrina would get for another reality TV show as a result)

E2 (Mike and Keetin): I think they would be quite respected! They played a pretty solid game and hardly made any enemies (sans Red Team), so them winning would be pretty good. They just would've lacked Max and Jenna's redemption arc as the first team out on e1, only to return as the champions. Plus they fit with Mats' analysis in how they were loyal to their original alliance throughout (at least unitl the final four).

E3 (Demian and Nicole): The old forums would've probably exploded had this happened. On the other hand, it would be a good lesson in that you can have your disagreements with your partner, but you can still work with them and somehow, succeed. It would also be a final vindication for Nicole and her brief alliance with Yellow in the final four, in that she played with the little strategy on e3 and it paid off. That said...justiceforyellow.

E4 (Jonathan and Daniela): This is interesting. Franke and Erika definitely deserved to win, but I felt like Purple winning would've made for a better ending. They started out rough and still managed to come out on top. Though there are fans who think Red deserved to win, and that seems to be the consensus on YouTube, I think? That said, e4's top three was so strong, one could make the case with any of the top three to win it all.

E5 (Dakota and Kelsey): They definitely deserved to win over Alex and Cealey, in my opinion. In some ways, the final two here was a race to the bottom, and Purple would've been the more deserving of the two. They had the game on lock, and managed to make it to the finale without going to Temple once. I could see why people think Green deserved to win nowadays, in terms of narrative and in terms of karmic justice, but I think Purple would've made better winners (that said, it still would've been seen as a win for the popular clique)

E6 (Will and Leslie): Green winning wouldn't save Fiji from what it was, but at least it would've made for a better winners. Ben and Jordyn were great people and had a nice vibe around them, but what did they do to deserve the win? To be fair, the editing might not have given them much...

I think the right people won from E1-E3, although I would've liked a Green victory in E2. Sabrina and Nicole's losses in the finale, while amazing reality TV villains, demonstrated a "good triumphing over evil" vibe that fit with Endurance's espousal of upstanding qualities.

E4-E6, I definitely feel like the runner ups could have won. As you said, anyone in the E4 final three was really deserving in the end, but idk I just feel like Purple had that arc that a win could've really rounded out. I think part of E5 and E6's issues, among disparate editing of the cast, was both had pretty weak winners. With the first four seasons, you could argue that the team who won really deserved it, but with E5 and E6, the endings were pretty anticlimactic as the OBVIOUS choice of winners both lost. I feel that the show's luck-based final Temple element may have run its course as this may have subconsciously turned viewers off - if the "best" team in the game can't win in the end due to luck, what's the point?

I remember talking about that final E2 temple on (I think) the old forums and the Keetster said something about how that replayed in her mind a lot.

Basically, it was the way they kept going back and forth while adding more tiles. It's been AGES since I saw that episode, but something about the way it was set up seemed strange. Because each team had to leave one tile open for the other team, they could have played all their tiles, won the other team's tiles AND the that team could have had pieces left over.

Green plays all tiles but 1.
Brown plays remaining tile. Has pieces left.
Green wins that piece brown played.
Brown plays all tiles but one. Has pieces left.

I have wondered if the golden pyramid had ever moved after the pyramid pieces had been played.

The most deserving winners there would definitely have been Mike and Keet. Plus it helps they're still friends.

I probably already mentioned it, but why do you think Green would've been more worthy winners than Brown?

I disagree on season 2 and 3. Season 2 because Michelle was the most deserving person to have won the prize. As a team Green worked extremely well together. Season 3 because I think of the underdog story of Yellow.
