wow...that was pretty depressing. Not sure how I feel about the elimination system with giving people coins. I felt horrible for Skylie especially since it was because her partner's decision that made them such a big target.

I am enjoying it so far though. I just would have preffered Green to stay.

Sorry double post lol...
But yeah, my only issue with the show is the giving coins to give people an advantage. I think what always made the Temple of Fate format so exciting was that the hated team could always come back. For example, Blue in High Sierras and Yellow in Hawaii would have never survived as long as they did with a format like this.

I'll be quite surprised if there's ever an even amount of coins distributed, but I guess we shall see.

I kind of like the Cave of Karma better than the Temple of Fate tbh just because it added more elements into the game. But I don't know it still feels off. And something about the show so far just seems really off. Like I feel they're not showing enough of the team dynamics. I'm still struggling to remember who is on what team.

I think they did that because it fits the format of Karma.

My problem with the coin format is what does it mean for underdog teams? This is a point that theacf12 made and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. The best part of Endurance imo is getting to watch the underdog teams dominate despite all the other teams being against them; would Monroe & Bryanah or Connor & Taylor have survived even one trip to the Temple of Fate if this is how it had been played?

It kind of ruins the whole concept of the game for me. I hope they change this moving forward, but I highly doubt they will.

It's also a very short-lived and anticlimactic elimination process when a team finds their coin on the first smash (like yellow in this episode).

I’m surprised that Huck and Sienna feel they aren’t a good match. I pegged them for the strongest team from the start.

I feel like there’s more to the Harrison story than what actually happened?? Like he was there for at most 3 days right?

The elimination format is... interesting. I kinda like it. But, it does make it so that an underdog return is especially unlikely. And I feel like the coins will be mostly unanimous but we’ll see

I’m really sad cause I liked Green team. I feel like Skylie got screwed over big time. She could’ve gone so far. And they were a strong team that got screwed on a targeting mission. I guess that’s the karma of the game.

I wish they did the offering in a different way, Like each team goes in a booth then makes their offering. It was so sad to see Skylie literally break down more and more as no one hands them a coin.

Just finished watching with some discord friends. What are the odds Jack's flight broke down? I would assume he would have otherwise already been close to home when Harrison left. Shoutout to Jack being a Survivor super fan. I wonder how long this alliance (or partnership I believe they called it) is gonna last. I swear Justin looks like two different people with and without glasses. Karma coins totally had fire token vibes haha. And my friend literally called the Cave being in the style of the final temple mission on Endurance.
