The first team and the last team created on the show were both Yellow

Red and Blue were the last teams to survive a trip to the temple. The both did it in Season 4 and in back to back temple trips.

If you count the E5 superteam mission as a win for the Orange team (as they were on Purple's superteam along with Red), then the only orange team to not win a mission was the first one. This would tie them with Green for the colour with the most teams that won at least one mission per season (5 each).

If one counts the finals as "trips to temple" then Purple becomes the only team color to face off against every other color at the Temple of Fate.

Both brown teams started with the same piece.

Red team has the fewest number of trips to Temple among teams that appeared in all 6 seasons: 7

This should be verified, but it seems Ashley has a relative named Kylie.
Of course, there was a sibling on a later season...

It seems the team containing the most successful player in the partner selection rarely did well in the rest of the series
1. Max and Jenna formed 3 other teams while they themselves got 2 pieces to start. However, they were the first team gone (they of course won season 2 but still)
2. Phil was arguably the most successful (despite 4 teams formed before him) since the guys competed to get Jacequlyn. Despite bonding well, they were the second team gone. You could also count Blue instead since Scooter and Christa were the first to catch a ball but they ultimately were unable to win a mission before getting eliminated.
3. Somewhat downplayed. Demian got the first ball and thus had could pick whichever girl he wanted. He and Nicole though ended up not getting along. They did win 3 missions (though often of the luck variety and at least one was because Gray let them win) and made it to the finals, they ended up losing in what was the shortest finale of the series
4. Chris got to form all of the teams (except Blue which was formed before the mission) including his own only to become the second team eliminated.
5. Another downplayed example, Dakota won the challenge and got to form 2 teams (Red and Green) that would be in his alliance and he and Kelsey would win quite a few missions without ever going to temple. Yet, they still lost to Green, one of their own creations.
6. Connor won the challenge but his team ended up targeted, getting a samadhi and being sent to temple twice, the second trip ending with their elimination.

Looks like those who did well in the Right To Stay challenge never won the season that season.

If the Gray team in season 3 had not eliminated themselves in Squeeze Play, they would have tied with E1 Blue for most mission wins (6 including the superteam and final pieces mission).

Ingenuity is the only piece apart from Karma (which was awarding in Fiji to a team voted by the eliminated contestants) to never be used as a starting piece.
Perseverance is the only piece to always be a starting piece for one of the teams rather than being a reward for one of the endurance missions (not counting final missions)

If the Gray team in season 3 had not eliminated themselves in Squeeze Play, they would have tied with E1 Blue for most mission wins (6 including the superteam and final pieces mission). I wouldn't consider the final pieces mission on the same level as a regular mission, so they would come closest with only 5 (including Superteams) The Green Team on E4 was the only other team to have a three mission winning streak (Waterworks-Hang 5), and won four missions altogether.

Green and yellow tend to be frequently allied
E1: while not a core alliance, Yellow never outright targeted Green (never gave them the samadhi and they didn't try to convince Red to send them to temple). Sabrina even considered forming an alliance with Lana.
E2: Green and Yellow were in an alliance
E3: similar to E2, seemed to be best friends
E4: Isaac and Chris were close enough for it to be shocking that Yellow gave their piece to Red instead of them or Purple
E5: Aric gave Alex the free ride while Alex and Cealey paired Aric with Lilly. Downplayed though from here as Green was in the big alliance while Yellow wasn't (though Yellow was trusted enough to be told of the blue-gray switch in advance)
E6 is likely the main aversion as Yellow was not really allied with Green and it is likely that Green would have given the samadhi to yellow or send them to temple if they had that power.

In E1 Trevor and Sabrina were close and he admitted to having a crush on her and Jon and Lana were close as he admits when asked in the final two who he misses “Ashley, Ashley, ...and Lana”
