I've rewatched Tilt to edit an Endurance Wikia article, and this is what I've noticed.
--Alliances: Man, they have been established so fast (which applies in, basically, every season)! Except the team with the majority of the power is in three teams (Red, Yellow, Gray), while the minority is in the Brotherhood. --Skyler is a bit sneaky...I wished that strategy had worked. --Aarina (Aaron and Sabrina): It would've worked out so great...if only Sabrina didn't blow it all up later. Hints of antagonism from Sabrina there. --Tilt (the mission): It reminded me on how much I loved that mission, but if that were me, I would slipped off immediately. Or a few seconds later. In addition to that, would the Green Team have done any better had Trevor been holding on? --the Samadhi: If Blue had given it to Yellow, how much the game could've changed? --the Brotherhood: Every time a member of the Brotherhood mentioned the members, I've been thinking of J.D.'s response from the Endurance Reunion special: "The time it took for you to mention all the names...was as long as the Brotherhood lasted." --"They could try whatever they want, but this game turns around so fast they may think they have it, but they don't know what's coming." Max on the Brotherhood and control. And the Blue Team betrayed the Brotherhood that very same day.
What do you guys think? Let me know if you want more of these!

I don't even know why they included the Brotherhood in the final edit of the show. It was probably the shortest-lived alliance in reality show history HAHAHAH

I wonder...maybe for some comedic timing among the seriousness. So I rewatched "Knotted Up" (again, to edit an Endurance Wikia article), and here are my thoughts. Chelsea was so optimistic about the mission! Quite rare if you think about it. I thought about "Bagging on You" and how Alex thought it was almost impossible for the Yellow Team to win... I really liked the mission; it reminds me a lot of "All Tied Up" from E5. Speaking of which, if that was the final mission, who would've won? If Red won the mission (because they were so close to Blue), would things have ended up differently? As for Jonna blaming everything on Aaron, I think Jonna has some blame because she didn't speak up. Again, would things have been different if she had more say? Sabrina: "You can send anyone else but Red and Yellow." Aaron: "And Orange and Blue and Green and Purple." Aaron's response was quite funny: the Brotherhood "alliance" broke up just an episode earlier! As for Temple selection: if Orange was sent up with Green, who would've won? In addition, it would be funny if Green lost and there was a "Curse of the Green Team" in future seasons. So Alex and Cealey would be eliminated first on E5, but we'd also lose Isaac and Jeszie and Mike and Keetin. Then, just maybe, Alex and Bjorn would've won E3...haha.

Plant the Flag: --Everyone is playing cards at the beginning of the episode, and Chelsea is just sitting in her room. Usual self. --Brandon: "Oh God, it's time to cry again." Every event on Endurance results in some crying... --About the hat...when was it returned to Max, if at all? --The note: ouch! But didn't Blue betray the Brotherhood "alliance" two episodes earlier? --Aww...I felt so bad for Chelsea because of Max. --Plant the Flag: I didn't think the mission was quite spectacular. Looked fun, but not spectacular. It did take a lot of "endurance", though! --Poor Lana and Trevor: the original dysfunctional partnership. On another note, I thought it would be easier for them if Trevor was running, but since Lana was heavier, it would've worked out as well as a lead balloon. --Ashley and the hamburgers: reminds me of E5's "Walk the Plank", when Alex said to Cealey, "Why can't you weigh twenty pounds?" --Sabrina: "You shouldn't tell the truth in this game because if you did, you would get kicked off on the first day." That is some ambiguous morality right then and there. What do you think? --the Temple of Fate leak: It's interesting when you think about it, because in future seasons, everyone would know what's up at Temple, because they watched it on previous seasons. Therefore, if you want to keep a secret, don't have Trevor for a partner. --Sabrina (about the Samadhi): "I just want to see people suck up." Hahahaha. --the survey: Why don't they do this for future seasons? Just out of curiousity. If I were to respond (just to be aware we have watched all the episodes, so this will have some bias)... Team in Charge: either Yellow or Blue: Yellow on the alliance/strategic front, while Blue with the missions Most Honest Team: none of the teams stick out to be really honest. Probably Red. (Or Yellow E5 hahaha.) Team that Never Shuts Up: Blue or Green Change Partners: What type of question is that? Green! Next to Leave: either Green or Purple. Leaning on Green, though, because of the events of the first few episodes.

Squeeze Play:
--Pre-episode contemplation: Do you guys remember the Samadhi in E6 where only one member of the Red Team could play in the double mission? I think that would've worked for this case as well. Maybe Brandon or Layla would've known a bit about the teams. --I think the only other way Purple would be safe is if either Orange or Green wins, so they wouldn't be sent up to Temple. --"If I win, then this hairstyle stays. I don't care who doesn't like it." Christian. One of the most iconic Endurance quotes ever. --Sabrina answering Green as the team which will do anything to win--haha. They couldn't get their house straight! And Orange as the most honest team? I think Chelsea is, but not Skyler. He's a bit shady, so you can't really say he's honest. --Why would anyone think Blue would switch partners? Aaron... --Overall, I didn't think "Squeeze Play" was a bad mission, what I didn't like about it was how subjective it was. You have to really know the other teams in order to be good at this game (or basically any alliance game, like Squaring Off), in comparison to the other missions, which are based on strength, speed, stamina, or smarts. They are much more objective that way. But overall, "Squeeze Play" was a pretty decent mission. (Sorry firetruck121!) --"It was the hair." Really? --Ashley vs. the Blue Team: Hmm... a Red-Green alliance on the horizon? I wonder if Yellow would join as well, but since Sabrina and Aaron have an alliance/"thing" of sorts, it probably will be chopped down. --Sabrina and alliances: When will she send them up? When there are only a few teams left? Come on... --Green's like, "We're saved!" What a happy scene. --I don't understand the apologies made to the teams you send up to Temple. You've sent them for a reason, you have to own it up. And saying it's "the only thing we could do". Didn't Ashley say they had the decision made up since last night? (A bit of a rant here--but to be honest, you don't apologize to save your skin.) --I feel so bad for Layla this episode. --Brandon: "When I come back..." You mean if you come back. Temple is a 50/50 chance that a team comes back. --Layla and Chelsea: an adorable relationship being torn apart. I felt so bad for them! Reminds me of a bit of Alex and Bryanah on E3... :,( "I love you Layla." Chelsea I seriously wish they were still friends, but...
Here are my team rankings as of the end of this episode:
1. Orange: Primarily because of Chelsea and how sweet she is. Skyler is a bit shady, but there's some intrigue in it. What I wish is they did better on challenges. 2. Blue: You do not question this team. Haha. Overall, they are cool and smart (and victorious), but my problem is Jonna shifting blame to Aaron when they do things. 3. Yellow: Sabrina's morals are a bit ambiguous and she's ready to lie (or forget about an alliance), but she's smart in how she plays the game. Jon is a great contestant overall, and I think they make a great team. 4. Purple/Red: I'm torn about them! I feel like it would be a crime to send Red to the lower half of my list, but Purple was just as great. I like how Ashley's smart (with Squeeze Play and her "alliance" with Green) and Christian is charming (the hair, though!). 5. Gray: Because of what we've seen on E2, I also feel like it's a crime to relegate them this low, especially with Jenna. If only we've got to see them more! 6. Green: I just feel like they got off on the wrong foot and are still struggling with it. Like I mentioned before, if you want to keep a secret, don't have Trevor as a partner. Lana...she's a bit whiny at times, but she's determined to do things. We shall see.

Waterlogged:
--The rain, the rain, the rain...what a way to start an episode. --Skyler: "I want the sun to come out!" Chelsea: "Don't say that, don't say that! Because it's so pretty!" I love how Chelsea sees the bright side in things (even though she also points out she lives in Arizona and therefore doesn't get too much rain) --"I want Blue gone, I want Blue gone, I want Blue gone!" Ashley. Apparently, that's the theme of the episode...and it showed during the mission. --"I want your pieces Aaron!" I love this quote--cheeky and competitive all at once. --As J.D. mentions the Samadhi, the camera focuses on Sabrina and she winks. Hmm... --Lana's looks! I remember doing a post on them--they were so iconic. But take a look at Ashley's as well, she seemed so excited to target Blue! --When Aaron fell off his platform, Trevor applauded. That was fun...until everybody started targeting Green. --Christian: "You're going up to Temple if you pour water in my bucket!" You should've kept the hair from last episode, Christian. YOU SHOULD'VE KEPT THE HAIR! (even though it wouldn't have made a difference) --Orange was one of the last two teams standing: their laying low strategy almost worked! Almost. Speaking of which, if Orange won the mission, how much would've E1 changed? And after Green's elimination, why did everyone target Red instead of Yellow? --When I first watched the mission, I thought it was the best one. Now, not as much, but it was a good mission, especially considering it was the first alliance-based one (like Tide Pull, Squaring Off, and Box Launch) --When Red and Yellow are talking and Sabrina said she wanted to give the Samadhi to Red: REALLY?! If she followed through, then it would've been a fatal move. Bad move, Sabrina, bad move. On the other hand, that conversation made me see how smart and determined Ashley was. --Chelsea on whom she thinks will get the Samadhi: her reasoning reminded me of "Ring of Fire" on E3, when Purple had to decide between Green and Yellow for the Samadhi. Personally, I would've considered giving it to Blue, because they are the strongest team, but you should never betray an ally (unless it's the final four or higher), something which Sabrina didn't think about when she said she wanted to give the Samadhi to Red. Otherwise, all the teams gang up on you and you get a one-way ticket to the Temple of Fate. --Had Yellow gave the Blue Team the Samadhi, how much would've the game changed?
--Post-episode contemplation: Doing these commentaries made me feel like watching the show for the first time again. A great season so far.

Does anyone know where i can watch all the seasons of endurance?? First of all, welcome to the forum! Second, this is copy and pasted from two previous posts of mine: They exist on Veoh, but somehow, most of the episodes were shortened to only a few seconds. I don't know why. However, the following episodes are full episodes, so they can still be watched. E1: Right to Stay, Partner Game, Tilt, Knotted Up, Squeeze Play, Eruption, House of Cards, Dial In, Build a Pyramid E3: Headstrong, Out on a Limb, The Final Four, Battle for the Pieces E4: Blocked E5: Superboats, All Tied Up, Slingshot Alley, Finale, E6: Island Hopping, Shark Bait, Stand Bags, Finale: Parts 1 and 2, among a few others Specials: Endurance Reunion (though those episodes come in parts), E4 Mid-Season Recap, Best of E5, E6 Mid-Season Recap, Top 10 Games, J.D.'s Greatest Twists There's also a Google File with full episodes of E1, E2, and E6, but not those of E3, E4, or E5. drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6PVH9zI3Y82ZTQyYjk0NzktNGM5ZC00Y2YwLWExMDEtYzkxNzE3Nzc3ZjM4&usp=drive_web&ddrp=1&hl=en Happy episode watching! And tell me what you think about re-watching certain episodes again.

Eruption: --Apparently, based on the reactions of everybody, do you think the Yellow Team made the right decision? --Chelsea: "Don't let go, Lana!" Haha. Basically the theme of the episode. --The last two teams standing in Waterlogged are the first two teams eliminated in Eruption... --I'm actually impressed about how long Lana and Trevor held on that challenge! Definitely a game-changer had they won. --Jonna: "You guys shouldn't feel bad about losing..." Skyler: "Shouldn't feel bad? We're going to the Temple!" As expected. --The challenge itself was an interesting take on the standard endurance-based challenge--maybe that's why I liked this mission and Tilt a lot. --Poor Lana! I honestly am irritated by her complaining, but I understand why she was so upset. --I remember a thread focusing on Jonna saying, "Those are their morals, but I don't make promises and I don't lie." If you were Blue, would you send Yellow? I personally wouldn't, because if Yellow were to come back, then they are a strong team, so they could and would plot revenge. Not the best of scenarios, especially if you were in an alliance with them. --Lana: "You can be the stupid person, make stupid decisions, and do whatever you want, but I'm telling you right now—you will be the next team to leave this island." Hmmm...we'll see about that. --Jon and saying it would make sense to vote off the two strongest teams: Doesn't that include you? Maybe he's trying to be fair and moral. --The famous "I'm a liar too..." quote: at least Sabrina admits to being, you can say, "villainous". Guilty as charged for lying about Aaron to stay in the game. On Sabrina in general: You know a contestant is going to be polarizing when she says her strategy at the beginning of the season is to "find a person who thinks like her so they can manipulate as many people as possible" in order to win. I didn't really like her using Aaron as a "love interest" to stay in the game, because you're playing with human emotions at that point, but her strategy has gotten her really far. If you remember my post on "If you can pick any partner..." thread, I put Sabrina in the middle for my pick of girls as a guy. I don't agree with her tactics, nor would I duplicate them in real life, but that combined with alliances and good results in challenges make a team a real threat. Had Jon and Sabrina not won any missions on E1, then we have the right to look down on them and say they would not be deserving of second place because the only reason they made it to the finale is Sabrina's manipulation of the other contestants. (drops mic) --"We thought long and hard..." not really. --Sabrina's hair: good luck. Jonna's hair: bad luck (according to Lana) Hahaha. --That part with Jonna and how she wants either team to come back and have a slight chance of winning: this is why we like her. Even though she's smart, she also cares about other people. --Orange picking wood twice: that's Darci's strategy at the the Temple of Fate (lose the first one, pick the same element as you did in the previous round) in action. --While I do think Green has a better chance of winning missions, I think it would've been interesting if Orange returned. And not only because of Chelsea (and her quiet smile). It's because they said they would've targeted Yellow and Blue might have some temporary relief. --Post-episode: Do you remember on "Create Your Own Game" on E4 when J.D. mentioned Green has eliminated every team who they gave the Samadhi to other than Red got sent home (because Gray was the only other team they gave the Samadhi to)? Yellow achieved that feat--no caveats.

House of Cards: (final four baby!) --I can see Sabrina breaking an alliance, but Jon? Based on the interview, not very much. --It seems like everyone has a stake in the Endurance Mission. Blue and Green want to target each other, Yellow wants control, and Red wants to target Blue and maybe prove to Yellow they don't need carrying (even though they've won Squeeze Play). --Trevor says he thinks he will win the Endurance Mission...and he's right. --The fact you can see the Great Wall of China from space...that's a lie! --The mud looks like chocolate pudding. --What's interesting is while Ashley, Lana, and Jonna spread the mud on the bricks before putting them on, Sabrina dipped the bricks in the mud then putting them on. While there was a high risk there (as Yellow's tower fell off), it really got them the lead. --The ultimate joy for Green: "We won something!" --Jenga! hahaha. Otherwise, it was a fun and interesting challenge! --Lana: "I like the power. It's fun." Don't we all, Lana, don't we all. --In those confessionals, for once, Christian really is on it. I remember from the first episode, he said, "I won't cheat to win, but winning means a lot." Very true here. --Christian's comment on getting the Samadhi = getting sent to Temple: not always. Orange got the Samadhi in "Tilt", but didn't go up to Temple in "Knotted Up". Not a guarantee, but likely. --Jashley (Jon and Ashley) scene: I find that part to be bittersweet. They are friends, but Christian and Sabrina are at odds, what is the fate of the Red-Yellow Alliance? --Sabrina: "Hopefully [Ashley] will realize I'm not doing it to be mean, I'm doing it to win." Hmm...I think that's the divide between Sabrina and Nicole in terms of who's the biggest villain for me. I can't appreciate people lying, but I think all lines are dropped when it's game time. Credit to Jon for not wanting to sacrifice his team up at Temple. And extra credit to those who play nicely and win. (hint hint for the end of the season) --I think Sabrina's many deals come to a hedge during this episode. It's interesting because Green is the formal outsider team at this point, but Sabrina and Lana are becoming friends, as well as Lana and Ashley...it's hard. It's a bit coincidental that the episode's title is "House of Cards", though it fits because the "status quo" of the game is messed up with Green winning, and all these alliances. What do you think? --Ashley: "You said things you shouldn't have, but I still do trust you...I would rather be in the final two and not have lied or betrayed anyone than winning by betrayal or deceit." I like Ashley now. She's smart and nice. Wish I'd seen more of this in missions, though. --And how Ashley and Sabrina made up--I think it was a bit hard, but it was still great. --Sabrina unleashing the classic quote from the book: "I didn't come here to make friends." --J.D asking Aaron if there was a girl he liked: couldn't the timing be any better/worse? --Hmmm. In the Red-Yellow-Blue alliance: Yellow carried Red, and Blue, to a certain extent, carried Yellow. What do you think?

Dial In: --post-Aarina (Aaron-Sabrina): I think this is, by far, the oddest Endurance pairing ever. Had Sabrina not used Aaron to stay in the game, do you think it would've worked out? --Sabrina's comments and confessional (and basically everything this episode): Ugh...I think we saw from Eruption to this episode Sabrina at her worst: the backstabbing, lying, mischievous contestant she is. Like I said before, I don't like her tactics, but I don't hate her because she did make it this far, and she did make up with Ashley after her planned ideas in "House of Cards". --Dial In: I thought Jonna's idea of focusing on question words really worked (Endurance first, baby!), with Yellow's coming second. Red and Green are clueless (Christian: Inca!). Overall, it looked like an interesting mission. Not my favorite personally, but I like the fact the teams cracked codes. --Jonna: "We won, we won! Yes, we won...back off world!" Fun confessional. Remind me of Monroe's "Betcha didn't see that coming!" after Bagging on You. (which, for trivia's sake, was only the second time a team has overcome the Samadhi after Blue). --Blue's selection: I think Sabrina should've seen it coming. First of all, Yellow is the strongest team after Blue, and second, Aaron's heart is basically broken after Sabrina's flip-flopping about whether she liked him or not. Therefore, I don't like her reaction (basically being mean to Jonna), and don't think it's justified. To be honest, if Yellow were in Blue's position, they would've done the same thing (as in, send Blue because they were the strongest team, and especially after the events of the previous episode) --Goodbye Green: although you were the most dysfunctional team, you managed to win a mission against the Red-Yellow-Blue alliance. Not my favorites personally, but still, admirable. You also started a Three Temple Curse which bogged the underdogs of almost every season until E5. Build a Pyramid (final three, baby!): --Previously on...nope! Dial In was Blue's fourth victory (to count, after Tilt, Knotted Up, and Eruption) --I think it would've been interesting if Green came back: they would be the underdog team against Red and Blue (though Red only has one piece). However, it's great that the Red-Yellow-Blue alliance made it to the final three together (with more than a few scars). Finally, if Green left a letter and piece-giving was in E1, who would've they left their pieces to? --"Today is 'Be Nice to Jonna Day'" She deserves it after last night. --Jashley: Jon wrote a sweet letter. It reminds me of nice he was. (Too bad their "thing" probably didn't work out.) --Now we're in the final three, the battle lines are drawn: no going back. --In these puzzle-like challenges, it's tempting to look at what the other team is doing and follow in pursuit with their strategy. That reminds me of the Amazing Race, when in some challenges, especially with those involving counting, if a team gets the number, the other teams will learn about it. --Build a Pyramid involved tangrams--I loved them when I was younger! So, it made me warm up to the mission a bit, but still not my overall favorite. --And it reminded me of Knotted Up: Red was so close to winning, but Blue pulls through. If Red had won, would they have given the Samadhi to anybody? --Sabrina's strategy: do nothing! A total 180. Maybe it's because it's the final three. --Yep, I would give the Samadhi to Yellow. However, it sort of reminds me of Purple winning an Endurance Mission on E4 and their decision on whether or not to give it to Green. --Red and flying under the radar: Yeah, they really need to get pieces. A little bit of foreseeing, but Orange E3 and the fact they only had two pieces! --Red-Yellow-Blue as the first alliance: Wrong. I think Red-Yellow, and to a certain extent Gray were the first alliance. And then we have the Brotherhood (we've seen how that worked out), and then Blue joined Red and Yellow. And yes, it has endured. --Aaron on leaving the strongest teams until the end: "I think it will be a more satisfying victory." I personally agree with this, but what do you think?

Before we get into the last two episodes of E1, here's some interesting things I've found out. --With the exception of the first Samadhi, all of the handicaps are written as a note. Compare this to future seasons, in which they would have an object or a picture representing the disadvantage (for example, with the one foot of rope cut off for Orange in "Eruption", there would be a foot of rope inside the Samadhi) --Like the podcast mentioned, it was all about the Red-Yellow-Blue alliance this season in terms of storylines. I think they are the most powerful alliance in Endurance History. Storylines from this season: - Gray: Because they survived "Fate Falls" the longest, and got two pieces, they did everything they can to not be a target. There was also Max's strategizing, but this wasn't as prominent as on E2.
- Purple: The Brotherhood, and them trying to get revenge on Blue afterwards, Layla's friendship with Chelsea, their struggles in Squeeze Play
- Orange: How quiet Skyler and Chelsea were, and how Chelsea broke out of her shell in "Tilt", them trying to get into the game
- Green: Their dysfunctional relationship, them trying to get revenge on Blue after they sent Green up to Temple, Lana and Sabrina and Ashley and Jonna (yes, it's complicated)
- Red: Ashley's friendships with Sabrina and Jon, Ashley wanting Blue gone, Red trying to prove themselves against Yellow and Blue
- Yellow: Obviously, Sabrina and her manipulating the other contestants, her thing with Aaron, her friendship with Ashley, Jon's friendship with Ashley
- Blue: Aaron and Jonna dominating over everything, Jonna creating the list in the beginning, them having to struggle with everyone else...
And I feel like the episode titles (which are the mission titles) coincidentally matched with the episodes' themes: --"Right to Stay": The Right to Stay mission, of course. --"Partner Game": Duh. --"Tilt": "tilted" right into competition. And Max's quote from that episode: "They could try whatever they want, but this game turns around so fast they may think they have it, but they don't know what's coming." --"Knotted Up": Blue being knotted up when they had to decide who to go up to the Temple; the fact one team will be going home that night --"Plant the Flag": Who's going to affirm their status in the game? By winning an Endurance Mission. --"Squeeze Play": Purple, or Orange or Green, maybe "squeezed out" of the Endurance pyramid. --"Waterlogged": Blue being weighed by their success, which showed during the mission. --"Eruption": Sabrina's lies becoming more prominent, and then erupting. --"House of Cards": The Red-Yellow-Blue alliance domination ending with Green's victory, and the House of Cards with Sabrina's alliances/friendships --"Dial In": Who will "dial in" to the final three? And will Sabrina's real truth about Aaron please sand up? --"Build a Pyramid": Building a pyramid to hopefully gain an advantage and confidence in the final two. --"Leap of Fate": Literally! One misstep and you're going to the Temple of Fate --"Don't Drop the Ball": The ball represents victory.

Red-Yellow-Blue as the first alliance: Wrong. When did Red and Yellow have an alliance with Gray? I think Aaron is probably right but it also makes it harder for you to win. Personally I'd rather leave the easiest team to beat so I can ensure a victory rather than having to struggle and possibly lose.

I think Gray was sort of friends with Red and Yellow in "Tilt", so that's why I thought they were part of said alliance. Maybe it's because they weren't around long enough.
As for your POV on Aaron's quote: Green E5 and Blue E6! While it's mostly luck, anything could happen...
Other interesting things: --Thinking about it, what if the Brotherhood actually survived without Blue in it? Because the other three teams wanted to kick Blue off. --What was interesting is in "Fate Falls", all the major supporters of the list were paired up into teams first. --If you look closely at the results in certain missions, they sort of mirror those overall. In "Partner Game", based on where they were standing, reversing Blue and Yellow's standings and Purple and Orange's standings will have the final results. In "Tilt", reversing Purple and Green's placements, you also have the final results of the season. And in "Leap of Fate", you have the order in how the final three teams were eliminated. You wouldn't notice this if you watched this only once, but if you went back, that's what I caught. --Shane was the first contestant introduced, and the first contestant eliminated. Interestingly, Jonna was the last contestant introduced and ended up winning it all. --Apparently, the kettle of fire which the contestants went behind was a lot larger than in previous seasons, hence if you took the TempleVision screenshots, you can't really see them as clearly.

Leap of Fate: --Pre-episode: I think the Samadhi which was thrown out could've been a speed disadvantage. Or the contestants have to jump on one foot! --The guys taking a shower--Jonna: "You guys need shampoo!" And Christian: "I'm a fish, I'm a fish!" All-around good fun. I would've actually liked to try it one of these days. --Both Sabrina and Jon believe they were now going to win after the Blue Team threw the Samadhi out...and the Blue Team fears that. If it were you, would've you thrown it out? While there's a part of me which wanted to spare the Yellow Team, it is a game, after all. --J.D.: "How many of you like to dance?" One of my favorite moments/quotes ever. --When J.D. announces which team would go to the finals, Jonna goes, "We are," and the Blue Team does it. --While we know Blue has an Endurance record with six mission wins, they are also one of only two teams who one three missions in a row. Can you guess who the other team is? --Sabrina: "You can't blame me!" Um...yes we can. --Ashley: "Oh God, why is my partner such a klutz?" One of my favorite quotes ever. --I actually like this final three of Red-Yellow-Blue. All of them are strong teams (Red being questionable), and they have a good camraderie with each other. No wonder why Ashley was going to be upset leaving these people. --Sabrina's worst nightmare realized. As Monroe would say two seasons later, "...and it will be just as hard to come back as it will be to leave." --Why did Jonna give Christian her necklace? --At the end of the first round of Temple, Sabrina looks like she's going to cry. She should've thought about that before being a klutz in that mission! --Ashley smirking; not unlike her looks in "Waterlogged". --Ashley mutters in the third round they should've done Wood; based on the results, she should've done that. --Both picked water; as J.D. mentions three seasons later; "It's almost as if you could read each other's minds." --Sabrina in the final round: "Just do it!" Just like before... --And while Sabrina's happy about winning, it was still very bittersweet. --Perfect final two (despite Sabrina, of course. But still!).

Don't Drop the Ball: --Interestingly, the episode begins with a variation of "The Temple"...hinting there? --Sabrina mentions how hard it was to see the Red Team cry; maybe because they were friends, but it shows Sabrina has some heart after all! And she mentions her friendship with Ashley as the best moment on Endurance; too bad they sort of fallen out with each other since then. --Who do I miss while rewatching E1? Chelsea, Chelsea, and maybe Ashley, but mostly Chelsea. --We interrupt your daily dose of sentimentality with Jonna's confessional: "I'm going to win; I'm going to kick butt, and Yellow is going down." And cue to competition! --The contestants are all wearing some form of paint (Jon has "Ashley" written on his arm)--do you think that they painted something beforehand? --I think the challenge is really hard if you're really tall, because the ball could naturally touch your head! I would find it really hard in general. Overall, my least favorite final mission and overall on E1. --And Blue almost loses it! Reminds me of Purple in "Out on a Limb", but...they still fall off. --In one clip, you can see something floating. I thought that was a cameraman. --This is actually the only time in Endurance History where the two teams go up to Temple tied. Interesting, because with the other five seasons, we have one team taking the lead; with the exception of E6, whomever took the lead would win it all. --I think all the things the contestants said they were going to miss were really nice. I really like the sentimental montage as well. Who cried on this part? --For those who watched this season first, what did you think the final game would be? --Sabrina claims the shorts Jonna held as Ashley's. --Sabrina: "I've learned that friendship is stronger than the game itself, and I can be really scheming at times and like, mean to other people, and I just get caught up in the moment, and it's not a good thing." That's why we have the Friendship piece starting with E3. However, this didn't really apply when somebody asked if Sabrina would do the whole game again, at which Sabrina mentions she will repeat her current strategy! (It did work...) --The final challenge, while somewhat about strategy (as are you willing to put down only one piece, lowering your chances of getting the gold pyramid in order to get more pieces if you do vs. putting down multiple pieces down and increasing your chances, while risking losing that number of pieces), is mostly about luck. And as for other strategy games this season, we had "Dial In" and "Build a Pyramid". --With such a low number of pieces this season, every round is important. In round two, Blue covered three out of the four pyramids; had Blue lost that round, they would be down to only one piece. If there were, say, thirteen pieces, and Blue had six to Yellow's seven, it would be safer because Blue would then have three pieces left had they lost. Hence these dramatic lead changes. --With the exception of E3, the round # can be calculated with # of pyramids - 2. --Sabrina: "It's Ashley's piece." I find a bunch of connections between the losing team and their final piece. Other than E1; E2, Green's last piece was Teamwork, which was also their original piece and they had a lot of. E3, Orange's last piece was also Teamwork, but ironically, they were the opposite of that piece's ideals. E4, one of Purple's last pieces was Perseverance, which was their first piece. E5, Purple Team also had Perseverance, which was weird to me because it was Blue Team's first piece and they tried to target them the entire season. So karma comes back. --After a couple of rounds, Sabrina stops kissing the pieces for luck. Hence Yellow lost. --I think it would've been interesting if Yellow won that round, but I think Blue, by far deserved the title of "Endurance Champions" more than any other team not only on that season, but all the seasons succeeding them (especially their counterparts on E6 haha). Not even my favorite Endurance Champions on E4 could beat it in terms of who deserved it the most. --And Blue's victory added the cherry on top for such an amazing season: I really liked it; the cast, the location, the missions, just great and cool and awesome. And that's why Endurance is my favorite TV series of all time.
