ughh..shakespeare is irritating me..geez i can't understand a word he wrote. except "thee".
I have to read the Merchant of Venice and its the actual play version and its HARD to understand. is is just me or does anyone else not have a clue as to what he writes?
nothing intended to shakespeare as people say he was an amazing writer..etc.

I'm fluent in Shakespearean, lol. I'm in a homeschool Shakespeare theater group, and I've been in it since I was six... this year will be my tenth play with the group. But it's a lot harder to just read a script than it is to perform the play... I'm trying to read Julius Ceasar at the moment and it's killing me. So I can sympathize with you lol.
You guys should come to NH this spring and see me in Taming Of The Shrew!!! I'm wicked excited cuz I just found out that's the play we're doing and I love it! ;D

haha i was in a midsummer night's dream...well we ended up only doing a few scenes from it. mine was terrible at the time, but now lookng back i do see the humor...long story short- there's this guy who i absolutely cannot stand. so of course i got the part of helena, who is in love w/ demetrius, and you know who got that part. and i had to do teh "spaniel scene". google it. and we had to rehearse it all the time. and everyone was laughing because neither of us wanted to even look at each other. ugh it sucked. but its really funny now! that was about 2 years ago... and last year we read romeo & juliet. which was easy, cause i know the plot. but i am pretty good a deciphering it!

I was a fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream a long time ago haha. All I remember is throwing sequins and glitter all over the stage, and having stupid wire wings that always got bent.

lol..thats really funny.
in the end i got sick of Shakespeare and just read the normal version on sparksnotes...exactly what our teacher told us NOT to do. he's all like...you've gotta understand the true meaning and decipher it yourself to understand the true essence of Shakespeare..seriously he pretty much worships shakespeare. but anyway i bet you the entire class is gonna read it on sparksnotes

learned how to read poetry from two friends who are actors. Read all the plays and poem aloud and don't try to keep the rhying scheme going. it screws u up.
