Yeah...I noticed while watching it today that Trevor and Lana were originally on the list together, but it was changed to Chelsea =P...

Jonna changed it, apparently because Lana wanted Brandon more or Trevor wanted Chelsea more

That was how the teams ended up, but before the partner mission Jonna made a list of who wanted to be partners with who. I think that Max switched it up, and a few teams got mixed up.
