Okay how does the temple of fate do this? How does it know what element you pick and know what elements to rise? and how does it rise on its own? from throwing a rock into the burning cauldren!! I am always stumped on this!
I used to think that there were people under the temple of fate and there was some kind of one way mirror type thing under the burning cauldren so they can see the rocks, wood whatever they used to write their elements on then go push it up. something like that. It has to be something pulling it up cause it can't just be rising up on its own can it? Whats happening!!!!!

Theirs a camera on every corner of the temple. XD
When they show one team writing down their element on the show, Theirs another camera behind the other team showing them which element they chose. And one thing I noticed afew times in the season was that JD would look around the temple so he may be giving signs sometimes. But other then that, the filmers are watching them write it down and then control the pillar things or cauldrons.

i never got how the wood thing shot up in season two. i mean the fires the paper things they have at haunted trails. the waters just water shooting up butlike howdoes the tree thing come up and how do they controll it

So not really sure how to use the new website...but i will just post here.... its been four years since endurance which is insane...but i thought it would be cool to just say hi....im going to UCF this summer and i am super excited. now everyone...what is going on with endurance??!?!?! my brother wanted to tryout lol see you all later  |

Daniela... welcome to the boards. We hope you stay around a while.
Doesn't another Endurance contestant go to UCF? I know there's SEVERAL contestants in Florida: Ashley, Chris (E3), Lindi, and i'm sure others as well.
As for the "trick" you see? Someone said that they actually write their elements down two times. Once is handed to an off-screen set guy, who pushes the various buttons. The other time is what you see, when the rock is given to JD.

If you notice on each rock in the cauldrons is a hole. They set it up like a lighter thing for Fire, a fountain for Water, and they push up some bamboo or a fake bonsai for Wood.

Hey Daniela! Hope you enjoy your times on the new boards.
As for Final Temple I don't know. But here are the two things that I think it may be
one is that they take the final temple board and go off someplace and change it or they would have someone under it changing the golden pyramid

At the final temple, The golden pyramids placed upsidedown. Its a magnet on the bottom of the Silver Pyramids. And JD presses the buttons to flip the pyramids over if you notice when hes looking at the board his hands are under it. XD
But its like a big magnet under the Silver Pyramids they place the Golden Pyramid on and then they flip em over.
Its all reality TV magic. =)

If you look closely at JD during the temple and final temple you can figure it out...watch where his hands go and stuff.
