Okay, does anyone else really hate the new setup?? With a top 36 instead of top 24? I think it's really unfair, and I don't like it.
My favorites so far are Danny Gokey, Ricky Braddy, Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen. I'm not really liking the girls this year (except for Allison of course) and I don't know why. None of them have really blown me away yet.
One more thing... who do you think will be in the wild card round? Here are my guesses:
Group 1: Anoop Desai, Brent Keith (maybe), Ricky Braddy, maybe Jackie or Ann Marie?
Group 2: Matt Giraud, Megan Corkrey (even though I don't like her), Kai Kalama (maybe) and maybe another girl
If they bring back Tatiana or Nick aka Norman, I am going to scream!!!! I hate both of them so much!!!

same here. i only started really watching the show last season but they used the same format for the 1st 3 seasons.

Don't Like new setup that much... But I guess it's fine...
Ricky Braddy for the wildcard for sure! And then FTW!
And I don't really like Adam...

I like the setup.
Its kinda getting the really good singers through. Like seasons 1-3.
But i'm pulling for Allison and Alexis!
And I agree PG. Not a big Adam fan.

I like Adam! But not Allison, the others girls were better IMO.
I'm still listening to all the guys from group 2 though. I'm SO GLAD that Nick/Norman guy did not make it!
Casey brought up the point that Danny Gokey is using his dead wife to get votes...opinion?
My favorites so far in the top 12 are Alexis and Adam. BUT NOT MICHAEL. NO. HE NEEDS TO GO.

I don't think that's fair to say he's using his dead wife to get votes. I mean, the producers are the ones that chose to dwell on that. If there's even any story behind one of the contestants, they jump on it. And that's what they did. I for one am a huge Danny fan, and it has nothing to do with that, I LOVE his voice! I really like Adam, but I didn't like his performance at all. I liked him since his first audition, he has such an incredible range! He kind of butchered that song though.  But I'm not giving up on him yet! |

I'm ready to see how the next group will do tonight.
