Robotech The Macross Saga: Episode 1 - Beginnings

Nar = Narrorator

Nar: Macross island, a beautiful city. But now the Zentradei are planning and invasion. With the brand new Robotech ships being built for these special attacks it is a mystery whether Earth can be saved or not. During this time the Zentradei are kidnapping people from Macross Island and turning them into Zentradei warriors using their new devices. Young Rick Hunter is among these captured. Now it is up to Roy Fokker to save him.

*Shows the SDF-1 Ship*

Claudia: The Zentradei's have just captured another fugitive sir

Captain Gloval: Show the picture up on the screen Lisa

Lisa: Yes captain

*Lisa types on the keyboard and a picture of a young man with dark black hair shows up*

Roy Fokker (To Self): I know this man... Where have a seen him before?

Captain Gloval: I've had it! The Zentradei have been capturing millions of innocent people and are changing them into their own. This has to come to an end!

Claudia: That is why we have invented Robotech sir.

Captain Gloval: I know, I know. But it has taken two years and we don't even know if this robotech will work out.

Lisa: Today is the very first test of Robotech sir.

Captain Gloval: Yes, Yes. I know. But if this doesn't work out it will be another two years before we can figure this out...

Roy Fokker: I know that guy! He used to be family friend!

*Roy Fokker stands up and begins to walk away*

Claudia: Commander Fokker! Where are you off to?

Roy Fokker: I am going to save a good friend of mine from getting turned into a enemy of ours!

Claudia: But Robotech is being tested today and we need you here!

Roy Fokker: Well you are just going to have to test it with out me!

Captain Gloval: Commander Fokker don't you dare leave us in such an important time! We will save your friend! Don't worry!

Roy Fokker: That doesn't cut it for me! I'm leaving!

*Roy leaves the bridge*

Lisa: Shouldn't we stop him sir?

Captain Gloval: Let him do what he wants... If he thinks his friend is more important then the ship then so be it...

*Shows Roy getting into a flyer*

Roy Fokker: That Rick Hunter... Always getting in to trouble...

*Roy starts the Flyer and races off*

Roy Fokker: Seriosuly, I always have to save that kid from trouble...

Nar: Meanwhile on the Zentradei ship Breetai is trapping the humans in containers...

Breetai: Once we have enough people from Macross Island here trapped we will turn them all into Zentradei warriors! Then we can defeat the SDF-1 and no one can stop us!

Exedore: Sir, enemy ship is approaching!

Breetai: Is there anything that shows who it might be

*Exedore checks computer*

Exedore: The computer shows no information...

Breetai: Okay! Get ready to fire missles!

*Exedore begins typing codes into the computer, little does he know Roy already finds his way into the ship*

Roy: Don't worry Rick! I'm coming for you.

*Roy enter a door and finds a guard Zentradei on the other side. Immediately he begins to shoot and knocks the guard down*

Roy Fokker: This is why you don't mess with Roy!

*Meanwhile in the SDF-1's bridge*

Captain Gloval: I can't take this anymore! The Zentradei can attack at any time they want! With or without Fokker we have to rest the Robotech gear! Lisa! Send the most experienced members to test out the machines!

Lisa: Yes sir! *Lisa turns on PA* Commander #201, #403, #105, and #322 report to the Robotech ship room! Testing is getting ready!

*Meanwhile Roy Makes His Way into a room that has containers with people in them*

Roy Fokker: Look at all the people in here! Rick must be in here somewhere! I wish I could free everyone but if I get caught I'm dommed!

*Roy looks around to try and find Rick but he is no where in sight*

Roy Fokker: Come on Rick! Where are you!

*Back at the SDF-1 he Robotech ships are being tested*

Commander 403: Lasers work!

Lisa: Okay! Change you flyer into battloid mode!

Commander 403: Yes Lisa!

*Commander 403 presses a button and his flyer changes into a robotech like machine*

Commander 403: Sweet! It works!

Lisa: Okay! Robotech test is finished! Thank you flyers! Now we know that we have machines that we can use against the Zentradei!

*Back in the Zentradei ship*

Roy Fokker: There you are!

*Roy grabs the container with Rick in it and Rick trys to say something but Roy can't hear through the container*

Roy Fokker: Talk to me when we get to the SDF-1 Rick! I will get you out then!

*Roy is headed for the door when a door behind him blast open a Exedore is standing there. Blasts are shown coming straight for Roy Fokker.

*On The PA it is heard that someone is saying and repeating the word intruder*

*Roy dodges the blast and another blast is shown coming right towards him*

Roy Fokker is up for the battle of his life. To escape to safety from the blasts of gun shots

The Robotech System is given it's final test before approved to be used in battle

But is it too late as the Zentradei attack earth?
