Ohio's role in Endurance

I'm just wondering how Ohio helped form Endurance.

Vanetta was from Cleveland, but I believe she moved to LA around the time Hawaii aired. Her credits said she was from Cleveland, but internet sleuthing seemed to show she lived in LA.

Unless she flew every time (doubtful), then Lilly drove through Ohio several times to/from college.
