--Aaron: "My hair's being touched by two different people."/"And you're loving it." Haha.
--I can relate with the braiding thing, haha.
--"This is embarrassing!" I know, I don't like talking about relationships.
--Do each of the teams have to write a note before they get sent up to Temple/Cave of Karma? Or do they get some time to do so after they lost?
--"No offense, [Yellow] can kick your butts!" Presley
--even the bugs are curious about Operation CAS.
--Didn't Jack also say you shouldn't be in the center of attention?
--Jack: "I will them to get them out of this game."
--Justin: "But obviously, more time with Sienna wouldn't kill me."
--Can you separate crush-like feelings with the game? Sabrina was able to manipulate Aaron's feelings on e1, and Isaac's liking for Amelia added fuel to his feud with Jeszie in Hang 5.
--Nice to see three girls hanging onto the bars!
--Huck: "I don't like this Aaron!"/Aaron: "I know."
--Is there a reason why this Fill n'Spill is over land this time?
--Take a drink every time that somebody mentions Karma on this show.
--I'm a bit annoyed by Pink's cowardice--they claim they don't want to send Yellow a few times already (and Avon not wanting to see Illya sad), but don't have the willpower to actually act on it.
--Because pink is the color of love...
--Yeah, I could see why people want more challenges--there's a lot more focus on the strategy here, rather than the team's strength in them. Plus, the day of the offering feels like a filler. Why is that?
--It's also quite sad that Yellow were sent three times
and it was all before the final four!--I'm not sure about Blue's choice--they are a strategical beast and they are perceived as a threat as a result. It might be harmful in hindsight. Unless...
--Huck: "This one's for you, Mom!"
--History repeating itself with Gray beating Yellow during the latter's third trip. (And Connor and Taylor could rest easy as they're the only ones to survive three eliminations)
--Some part of the editing for Yellow this episode reminds me of Shep and Calley's during "Cherry Picker"--the team needs to win, lest they are doomed for elimination. Unlike with the latter's last-minute heartbreak, Yellow wasn't really close to winning here.
--That said, I have to admire Yellow's resilience through this season! even in the end, the rock-smashing went on for a while, which was definitely different from what happened in the first few episodes.
My team rankings through the end of this episode:
1.
Yellow: I think some of us have a kink for constantly-targeted teams who get sent up multiple times. Unfortunately, Yellow never managed to prove themselves in the competition, which is a shame because they look like great competitors. (Of course, Illya especially--she's got a good head on her shoulders and is quite strong mentally!)
2.
Purple: : It's also really cool to see how Skyla managed to do well (and even plot out stuff) with her new partner! Of course, Jack is a definite character--he's strategic and insightful and knows what he wants. Let's see what they could do together in the future!
3.
Pink: I think Avon is a cool person on the show and I like to see how she gets involved in the action. Justin is a bit more non-descript (save for his crush on Sienna), but they do work together.
4.
Orange: Presley's personality shows up often, and Adren is definitely a presence in his short time this season. They both pique me for some reason.
5.
Gray: I read the general discussion thread and at the time of the show's premiere, Huck was getting a bunch of hate. Why? He seems alright, albeit too eager to start doing pull-ups during the mission! Sienna is fine, but I would like to get to know her more.
6.
Blue: Something about them rubs me the wrong way, but I don't have anything bad to say about them!
7.
Red/
Green: Not because I don't like them (on the contrary, it seems like most of these teams have their redeeming traits), but because of how Red was pretty much on the sidelines throughout this episode and Green's short time on the show.
