Hey everyone, I have some major news regarding EODK!
If you're not aware, we haven't had active staff members for a long time. The staff members consisted of Scott who made the Proboards version of this site, Spica an admin, and Casey a moderator. None of these people have been on the site for a while, and as the owner Scott was the only person who could appoint new staff members. Meaning that we had no way of moderating anything that happened, like when we had those spam posts a little while ago, or even adding/changing aspects of the site like creating new boards.
I got in touch with Proboards about the situation and after a thorough review they had determined that the staff had essentially abandoned the site and agreed to give me, the oldest and most active user, administrator powers! So I now have all the powers that Scott the owner had, meaning that we now have someone who can help run the site when things go wrong or we want to change or add things.
So what does that mean for everyone else? Well, really nothing. I'm not going to go change the whole site and, like, become a dictator or anything. I'm just going to keep chugging along like normal. As far as other staff, I personally don't really see the need because we're such a small, close-knit site that there isn't really any rule breaking going on. But, I would like to hear from you all and if you want to see something change on the site that we couldn't do before, then I'm all ears and I want us to decide on things together.
