With some new users joining pretty recently, I realized I don't think we have anywhere to introduce ourselves. So here's a thread to get to know what our fellow users are like outside of EODK! Obviously share as much or as little as you want.
Anyway, I'm Bryan. Please don't call me by my entire username (11 year old me loved meerkats...). Bryan is fine. I'm 23 (not 28 as my profile says??) and live in New Orleans with my cat and ferrets. I've been an Endurance fan since 2004 and an EoDK member since 2008. I'm actually a zookeeper in real life, and I take care of all types of different animals but roughly specialize in carnivores. Some other interests of mine outside of Endurance are the singer Haley Reinhart, language learning (Hawaiian and German), New Orleans/southern Louisiana culture and environment, true crime, the MTV Challenge franchise including related shows, genealogy, baby names, and happy hours.

Hi everyone!
I'm Crystal, or Kei... these are aliases, as I choose not to use my real name online. I'm 15 and live in Canada with my family. I've been an Endurance fan for nearly 3 years now, and I joined EoDK nearly a year ago. I'm still a high school student. My hobbies include writing, running, singing, acting and videography. I'm going to be going to university in 2 years, and I have a few career options. I also plan to do YouTube and blogging on the side.
Other than Endurance, my interests include tons of boy bands (from the Beatles all the way to the latest boyband, Why Don't We), world cultures, K-pop (that's how I discovered Alex E3, and eventually Endurance), Bible studies, and perfume. I recently started collecting and wearing perfume and I'm already planning my next purchase! However, right now I only have celebrity-branded perfume because I am too broke to buy fashion house perfumes XD

Hello everyone! My name is Elda, from Seattle Washington, and I turned 22 last week. I'm a final-year student at university studying International Studies and Political Science, so there's that. Outside of school, I enjoy reading books, writing, drawing, and occasionally fencing. I currently have some poetry up at allpoetry.com/EldaAM97, if you want to read any of my works. I also write articles for a webmagazine called Odyssey. I know how to speak Mandarin Chinese and a bit of French, and am trying to learn Hebrew as well. I'm interested in global cultures and foods; historical, political, and crime dramas (though most of the time, I watch late-night TV); teas; history in general; and cool art on Deviantart.

Y'all can call me Kate! I'm 22 and I work part-time as a key holder for an escape room - this is pretty much what I'm doing with my life right now as I don't know what else I want to do in the long-term. Haha. Mysteries, detective stories, and solving puzzles have been my biggest passions since childhood (I looove Nancy Drew PC games, Sherlock Holmes, Buzzfeed Unsolved, Whodunnit, Agatha Christie, true crime, etc). I've briefly dabbled in many things over my life, especially creative hobbies - cooking, baking, video editing, writing, and HTML/CSS coding are among them. I also did acting & musical theatre for a good 12 years, though I haven't really done anything in that regard since about 2013, I think. I'm very interested in various personality types & tests, and really just psychology in general. I also love analyzing storytelling, character development & arcs, etc. in various media formats I discovered Endurance when I was about 9 or 10. We had Discovery Kids at my grandma's house, so I freaking loved watching Endurance on weekends when I stayed with her. I also love laughing and tend to find humor in a lot of things.

You can call me Carson or carsonvega on this board. I am old enough that I could have been on E3, E4, E5, or maybe E2, although I was too busy going on camping trips during those summers and never thought about applying. Probably better that I didn't because I'm a bit too much of an introvert.
I am a forensic engineer. My supervisors are called to testify as expert witnesses in depositions and trials. I can't use any part of my real name on this board because, if an adverse party googles my real name (it's pretty unique), I don't want them to find everything I do online so easily. And googling like that does happen - I once heard of a witness getting asked about an appearance on a television show that was years before the internet really got going and had nothing to do with the pending court case, but information about it was online anyway.
In my spare time, I like to play board games, card games, and some video games (usually ones I can play on my own and are thinky rather than reflex/speed based); read; hike/backpack/camp; watch sports, Survivor, and some game shows; and cook/bake (one of my favorite things to make is key lime pie).

Think it's about time I make a post here I'm jackheadphonius, but my real name is Matt, I'm from the Bay State, Massachusetts, I'm now 22, and I'm a Communications student. I've already mentioned on another thread that I'm bi, and I've also had Asperger's Syndrome (basically mild autism) and ADHD my entire life. Oh, and I'm not fully certain how I managed to do it, but I'm also an Eagle Scout! Small details to me, but I figure they're worth mentioning. Also, I'm a reality competition show FANATIC. In fact, I got into communications to see if I can make one of my own someday! I've had a few ideas, but I'd rather not share until I find a way to make something out of them (Maybe an online reality competition a la Sequester). I've also got ideas for some drama and/or fantasy series I have in mind. Obviously, I'm a huge fan of Endurance, and basically grew up with the show thanks to my mom getting Discovery Kids, but now I'm also a fan of Survivor, Big Brother, The Genius (South Korean show) and I'm trying to get into The Challenge as well. (If anyone has a first season recommendation, I'm open!) Meanwhile, I'm hoping to finally get my first job after the spring semester- after that I'll only have one class left to get I disagreeociate's. Once I do, I'm not sure whether to keep studying full-time or part-time, but I'm definitely going for my bachelor's. I'm also into music (though I'm a bit picky with what I listen to), video games, creative writing, a small number of musicals, and most Disney movies. Hoping to get into writing for TV (possibly making an official TV pitch someday), but I'd like to get started in advertising. I've got a Youtube page, don't use it that much, might make a bit more for it, though. On my Facebook page (personal and under my full real name,) I'm trying to start a small advertising and writing service- only just starting out though.

I’ve seen every single season of the Challenge! All 34 of them even the first one in 1998! I love that franchise, but it’s difficult to pick a season to start on because of the reoccurring cast members. Their relationships and dramas intertwine so much throughout the seasons. And the time periods of the show tend to be quite different too. Like nowadays the competition is super intense, everyone works out hardcore, the challenges are difficult, etc whereas in the 2000s it wasn’t as intense, the drama seemed less forced, and the cast seemed to... enjoy themselves more? Different strokes for different folks.
Ideally I’d say start at the beginning but a lot of the early seasons are kind of meh. They’re better to watch once you’re already a fan. I’d recommend starting at the beginning of an “era” (unofficial shifts in the show) so Battle of the Sexes (2002), the Duel (2006), Rivals (2011), or Battle of the Exes 2 (2015) are all really solid seasons that kind of set things up for future seasons. If you want to start off with a recent season then Dirty Thirty was pretty good... tbh this current season (War of the Worlds) is the best one since Exes 2.

I've never done this!! Hi everyone! My name is Mitch and I've been on EODK since 2009. I was legit obsessed with Endurance growing up and always would have Endurance and reality themed parties. I've even done a few recently! I used to be really big into the ORGs, and played at least 15 Endurance game and hosted my own series (Endurance 7-14!!). Come to think of it I can't believe I have hosted 8 online games...
On top of being the top poster on this site (major flex), I'm a Spanish / French teacher and a running coach. I run marathons and triathlons (still have that Endurance!) and am hiking the 46 high peak mountains in the Adirondacks. I still love reality TV and my dream is to be on Big Brother or the Amazing Race someday. I live in Upstate NY and love musical theater, so I've always thought of one day moving down to NYC and being in a major city. I love traveling and have lived a semester in Spain, and also lived in Europe for a month this summer as part of a graduate research program. I love trying new things and am hoping to go to Japan and Alaska this summer! Ok that's enough about me... thanks for reading! haha

Hmm probably my mom because she is a great athlete and I would love to make more memories with her while I still have the time, you know? She has only traveled internationally with me and I think it would be great to help push her out of her comfort zone a bit and also broaden her horizons. I'm like the only person in my family who has traveled so my other family members don't really get it.

I think that's cool! I've heard of Ben Platt in that role, though only because he was in the Politician on Netflix. That said, I love Anything Goes and Urinetown, and also watched In the Heights. Like I mentioned, I also listened to the soundtrack of Hamilton and it is amazing. Never really watched it, sadly. Also listened to Jesus Christ Superstar.

I've also seen smaller scale live productions of Chicago and Sweet Charity. I also enjoyed those.
