Hey guys, Welcome to the Endurance: Easter Island Talk Time Thread! I'm your host/author, Crystal, also known as Kei! I decided to create this as a sister thread to my story "Endurance Returns: Easter Island" where we can engage in friendly debate and discussion about the events unfolding, make predictions, and vote on things if needed! 1) There was no Right to Stay this season. How will that affect things?
2) Do you think Audrey and Justin will form the rivalry of the season? Or will there be another rivalry that springs up?
3) How do you think the teams will work out in the end?
4) A lot of the guys wanted Meghan and Miranda to be their partner. Which guys will win them over?
5) Daniel and Allison agreed to be partners, and so did Scott and Jessica. How strong do you think they could be (if they do become partners)?
6) Will the Gray team go home first this season? Or no?
7) Will there be a showmance a la Jon and Ashley, Dakota and Cealey, Isaac and Amelia, and one could argue Aaron and Sabrina and Chris and Bryanah? Which contestants do you think will be involved?
8) There may be some Endurance alum who return to the show in some aspect. Who would you love to see back in a guest appearance?
I'd also like to reveal the two new team colours this season. You probably did the math and realized, even if Brown is added back to the standard Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple and Gray team colours, there's still only 8 team colours. 10 are needed in total.
This season will feature the first ever...

I'm sorry for disappointing people with lack of a Right to Stay, but I promised big twists... and more are to come!

I do agree with that formula. Many of the combinations I've looked into for teams are very very strong. This might be the tightest competition in Endurance history.

That's an exciting thought! It also makes competition much, MUCH harder for the teams. 2) Do you think Audrey and Justin will form the rivalry of the season? Or will there be another rivalry that springs up?Naaahh. They may not like each other, but I'm not sure that I see it turning into a "rivalry" per se. Hopefully poor lil Justin doesn't get saddled with her on his team haha, or if he does, maybe they can switch up their partners. 3) How do you think the teams will work out in the end?I don't necessarily have any predictions, but I'd think that some teams will be happy... while others, not so much. Isn't that how it always goes? 4) A lot of the guys wanted Meghan and Miranda to be their partner. Which guys will win them over?The "strong" ones... maybe Jason? I'm thinking Jason. And I'll also say Caleb, for Mats' sake, haha (Caleb & Miranda/Jason & Meghan?) 5) Daniel and Allison agreed to be partners, and so did Scott and Jessica. How strong do you think they could be (if they do become partners)? It's hard to tell at this stage as we haven't seen much of them interacting yet, but Scott & Jessica seem to have a good rapport just from the snippet they shared. It'll be fun to see how they work together, though, if they do! It's interesting that some players were so easily able to choose who they wanted so quickly. 6) Will the Gray team go home first this season? Or no? I think that with a Black and a White team, Gray team just might stand a chance 7) Will there be a showmance a la Jon and Ashley, Dakota and Cealey, Isaac and Amelia, and one could argue Aaron and Sabrina and Chris and Bryanah? Who would you love to see back in a guest appearance?Jonnaaaaaaaa because she's the first winner and an Endurance legend/beast! But some other good choices would be Max, Jenna, Keetin, Monroe, Erika, Daniela, & both of the Connors. And who WOULDN'T want a cameo on Endurance?!

Hmm, based on a storyline perspective, we may see a gap between really strong teams and really weak ones. Or there will be more partnerships in which the partners' capabilities may be unbalanced. Should that be the case, we could see a lot of tensions on all sides.
2) Do you think Audrey and Justin will form the rivalry of the season? Or will there be another rivalry that springs up?
That depends--are they going to be partners? If not, then we could see a more pertinent one. Wait until the alliances are formed, and then rivalries will erupt.

Very, very messily. Maybe nobody gets who they want and they have to work on that.

Since you do twists, it's probably not going to happen.

Hmm... who knows? What are the odds they might be in a rival alliance? How will that complicate things?

Hmm, a very smug and cynical Sabrina laughing at everyone's strategies. Haha. That said, I wouldn't mind having Taylor E5 come back--maybe she'll end up growing from her experience from Endurance and giving advice for a struggling contestant.
P.S. I wonder how would I figure on the show--do I introduce a challenge, or do I make crazy commentary in the background? I fence and write, and read, for basic information.

That's a really interesting twist. I like it because obviously you've put so much work into the cast and this way everyone gets a shot at getting some screentime before being unceremoniously booted in the first episode! I think it takes some of the pressure off of the cast too.

I don't think Audrey and Justin will end up being a rivalry. To me it doesn't seem like Audrey dislikes him, but rather she just doesn't want to work with him. I think she may rub some of the other girls the wrong way though.

I think for the most part everyone will get the right partner they were destined to get, but I definitely see some people not getting their ideal person... so drama.

I think it depends on who wins.

Honestly, we haven't seen anyone compete yet so I don't know! Scott and Jessica were really cute though.

Anyone would be great! I'd love to see some past winners and runner ups make cameos though!
I just want to say that Audrey is giving Briana E6 teas and I don't dislike her! Yet, at least.
