For a while, I thought of putting the Endurance contestants on a chart, which I have right here for E1!
Again, "lawful" in this context means sticking to alliances and keeping promises, whereas "chaotic" implies strategy.
Justifications:
Lawful Good: "A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice."
Jonna epitomizes this in spades. Despite having a hand in the breakup of the Brotherhood, she stuck with Red and Yellow through the rest of the season, despite their strength. She cares about the other contestants, and usually has a hard time sending teams up.
Neutral Good: "A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do."
Ashley stuck with Yellow and Blue(for the most part), but wasn't above contemplating eliminating them if necessary. As a result, I wanted to put her into "Chaotic Good", but she maintains her friendships and was kind to the other contestants. She wanted to be good, as seen as when she wanted to play fairly.
Chaotic Good: "A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent."
This was a hard one to pick. Ashley seemed to qualify at first, but I thought Aaron edged out her a bit. He was, along with Jonna, responsible for the breakup of the Brotherhood, and inadvertently? played into Sabrina's trap, picking off his "allies" along the way. When it was all revealed, the Blue Team sent Yellow up to the Temple of Fate. Nevertheless, Aaron seemed like a good guy who was ultimately led by emotions.
Lawful Neutral: "A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and organization are paramount to her."
Jon looked like a good candidate, but Christian epitomized it more, especially in his criticism of Sabrina. He stuck with his alliance the entire way.
True Neutral: "A neutral character does what seems to be a good idea."
This seems like the alignment of all the contestants in real life, but I put Trevor in here because he didn't commit to alliances or strategy (the brotherhood doesn't count, haha).
Chaotic Neutral: "A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last."
I put Lana here because she wanted to find ways to win, especially because of the Red/Yellow/Blue monopoly and how she tried to make brief alliance amongst the other girls.
Lawful Evil: "A lawful evil villain methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts."
This was an extremely difficult one; I chose Brandon because he stuck with Green and Orange, but would potentially have wrecked revenge had he came back from Temple (did I tell you it's hard?)
Neutral Evil: "A neutral evil villain does whatever she can get away with. She is out for herself, pure and simple."
This basically sums up Sabrina's time on E1.
Chaotic Evil: "A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal."
I put Max in here, due to his role in breaking up the List, and his early dealing. He is out for his team, with a shaky alliance between Gray and their allies, Red and Yellow.
