LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO I KNEW IT WAS THE E3 PARTNER GAME!! I love that format it's so much drama Jenna is sooooo funny. She reminds me of some of my friends. Chaz and Jenna could be such a strong team (and a funny one) and I love the Jenna vs. Stephen rivalry just because Stephen chose Nicole over her!! But I think Stephen and Nicole will work better together than him and Jenna. I love Cat and Chris!! I love Cat she's so happy! Well idk how Chris got last over Jordan who was TRYING to throw it and even knocked his thing over but still. We'll see if they can redeem themselves. SAM (GIRL) KILLED ME WHEN SHE CHOSE JORDAN LIKE WHAT?  ? Ashley and Zach are definitely like the underdogs at this point, it'll be interesting to see if they go out early or if they can slide their way through Dan and Holly are just so pure like little puppies omg I love Commuter Sam but idk Madi really yet OMG SAM SHOCKED ME WITH THE ALLIANCESSSSSS. She is my fave she is coming into this game strong |

--Sam and Jordan not wanting each other for a partner reminds me a bit of Jeszie not wanting Franke for a partner. --Dan: "I think my ideal partner in this game..." *crickets* This is how drama starts. --This is basically the partner mission from E3. --Chris has nice hair... --Nicole was 8th? My first reaction was that the girl with the same name got the same number on E3. No resemblance, just an observation. --What just happened with Jenna and Ashley? This wasn't something done on the original show... --Now that was just unnecessary by Sam. Really? --I feel like they're bumping Ashley for fun now. --I didn't think Chaz would partner up with Jenna! I think he would've gone for Sarah--which would've been my automatic favorite team haha. --Cat: "Brown Team, or whatever color we find at Michael's." --Nicole and Stephen's rivaling ideas: "no mercy" versus being nice to everybody. I wonder how they would work out. My strategy (if I were on Endurance, or any other reality TV show) would be to be nice to everyone, but get a hold of their weaknesses. Should they even try to betray me, I would find ways to exploit those and shake them. --That laugh track with Holly and Dan was adorable. --We never saw the teams get their first piece! 1. What are your favorite teams / who are your favorite contestants?<3 Mitch and Sarah (mostly for Sarah, but also Mitch's role in the Endurance fandom), Chaz and Jenna (for Chaz, though Jenna looks like she could take on a lot in the challenges), and Stephen and Nicole for their interesting dynamics! 2. What partnership was the most surprising?
Chaz and Jenna for sure...Also Sam and Jordan, because of Sam's previous comments towards him--I think it could be a hit or miss depending on the challenges. 3. Any original Endurance comparisons you are seeing? (Ex: Stephen similar to Chris from E3 IMO)My first impressions are that Chaz reminded me of Monroe (in that he was underestimated by the others, but managed to place the highest out of the contestants), and Sarah reminded me of Erika or Lilly due to their strength. Nicole and Stephen's rival plans reminds me of Jon and Sabrina's differing tactics on E1: keeping alliances vs vicious strategizing, though it's a bit too early to tell how Stephen would play the game. As for alliances, why is the Blue Team joining two different alliances? One of them is going to be like the Brotherhood from E1, the other Red/Yellow/Blue from the same season. If Blue doesn't get exposed for it...at which all the other teams will start targeting them. Let's hope we don't have a Tide Pull/Squaring Off kind of mission to play (though something like the latter would be interesting...) Anyways, upwards and onwards! I hope people would recognize this more, because Mister Ham and the rest of the gang are organizing this quite well! P.S. "I swear, somebody send these people up 1st, because anybody who chooses gray deserves to go home." @firetruck421, why do you think that? Because the original Endurance has the infamous curse? |

Okay first off I LOVE THE USAGE OF ACTUAL ENDURANCE MUSIC LIKE YES PLS!!!!! I've always said that if I get to have another Endurance game I would do that for the editing, haha. I was so pumped when I heard that High Sierras music in the beginning of ep 1  (I know it was used in multiple seasons but it reminds me most of HS lol) Also, this is super random but I need to get it off my chest that Chaz literally looks and speaks e x a c t l y like someone I used to know, omg it's freaky. Okay anyway I'm highkey obsessed with your subtitles during contestants' confessionals lol, "Holly - not feeling so jolly". Quick question for you, how did you get your players to record confessionals after most every challenge? I feel like if I told everyone in my group to record confessionals on their phone, nobody would actually do it haha. So I was just wondering!! Questions! (you know I love questions ;D): 1. Who is / are your favorite contestant(s)? As of episode 1 I think I like Ashley, Sam, Jenna, maybe Chaz? But I'm going to wait before making any final decisions! 2. What do you think the major twist could be? NO CLUE BUT WE GON SEE 3. Who had the best fall this episode? Jordan hahaha. I actually covered my mouth I'll make a separate post for my thoughts on the next ep! |

Okay, so I'm thinking in the future I may take a page out of everyone else's book and just write my reactions while I watch haha. I'm trying to remember my thoughts 1. What are your favorite teams / who are your favorite contestants?
Tbh my favorite teams right now are Gray and Orange... so that may be a problem for me hahahaha. For some reason I just feel like I know them the best so far? My preferences and favorites may shift around as the season continues, though. OH I really like Green, too! As for players, personality-wise I like Chaz the best out of the guys! He's funny and relatable lol. And I'm so glad that everyone was shocked that he came in first place, like yeesssssss slay 'em! Haha. Stephen and Dan seem really cool, too, hence my top 3 team choices  but Jenna also has a lot of energy! And while I wasn't a fan of Nicole in the first episode, I really enjoyed her in this one! Girl-Sam is a character, but we'll see if she becomes... too much as the game goes on, haha. 2. What partnership was the most surprising?
SAM & JORDAN LIKE GIRL.. WHAT IS YOU DOING??? You don't just say that you don't want someone as your partner... and then pick them as your partner because they want you to pick them. That is not how you Endurance. 3. Any original Endurance comparisons you are seeing? None currently, but I'll keep watching with this in mind and let you know if I draw any!!  |

First of all!!! Thank you so much for all of your comments! I love how much you all get into it It really encourages me to keep making more. I love seeing your reactions throughout it - and my friends also love hearing the comments. Season 3 may be coming sooner than you think! - That's ironic that Sam got number 1..... WHY ON EARTH DID SHE PICK JORDAN?!?! WHY THE HECK DID YOU PICK HIM?! ARE YOU KIDDING?! YOU DON'T JUST EXCUSE THE FIRST THING YOU SAID?!?! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!?! I AM SO CONFUSED! - I literally have no idea what just happened. - Sam & Jordan if they don't self-implode, then I hope they make final 5. - ALLIANCE WITH MADI, SARAH, AND SAM?! I think that's a strong one!! Hopefully they'll stay together! - Then we got a counter alliance with Blue/Orange. - So we got Blue, Purple, and Yellow in an alliance. - Blue has another alliance with Orange to get out Gray. - Which means that Red, Green, Gray, and Brown are all loners according to the edit. I will explain what Blue's true alliances were as time goes on, don't want to spoil anything yet To clarify the Yellow team.... Sam and Jordan are best friends haha. I believe they were joking in a sense, and when Jordan couldn't get put with Cat, he tells Sam to pick him when she is trying to choose. I'm glad you like it The editing takes a LONG TIME - so I'm glad you appreciate it. The teams will get their pieces in the next episode! We didn't place a huge emphasis on the pieces, and I plan to make it more of an emphasis next season. What is Blue's real alliance? Check in next episode (released later today). The use of the Endurance music is key  I also relate that song to High Sierras (that was the first season I got really "into") To answer your question about confessionals - my friends are so loud and neverrrrr stop talking haha. If you ask them to talk about themselves they won't stop, which is why I had way too much footage haha. But near the end, everyone kind of wanted to finish so the confessionals become limited near the end. |

So I totally forgot to write out my reactions live again until I was almost through the challenge. Whoops. So here are my thoughts from that point forward! : - Diane "Brown (will be eliminated first) because they're poop" hahahaha the way she said it was perfect! - I really like the idea of people pulling up chosen colors on their phones during Squeeze Play! Cost-free yet still effective. - This whole time I've been mentally trying to decide what my answers to the questions would be and I actually got a lot of them right! But of course, I wasn't there and I don't *really* know these people so it was hard to tell in some cases haha. - OH, ALSO SOMETHING FUNNY: In Actual E1, the underdog Red team won Squeeze Play. In my Endurance from 2013, our underdog Red team won Squeeze Play. In this game, the underdog Red team won the Squeeze Play-type challenge. Freaking weird!!! - Girl-Sam is super pretty. Just throwing that out there haha - YELLOW GETS THE SAMADHI. That seems like such a random choice to me?! Maybe Red will explain their reasoning in the next episode! It just seems like, logically, Yellow probably isn't very strong in physical challenges? And as Boy-Sam pointed out I see them being vindictive, for sure. So to target them so early on...? I would watch my back if I were Red! - Oooh the next challenge looks interesting! 1. What are your favorite teams / who are your favorite contestants? My favorites really haven't changed since the last episode, at least not yet. But I am liking Jenna more and more! 2. What was your reaction to the decision for the samadhi? I wonder how far will he go now? --Honestly, that's a nice shade of purple. Unless someone decides to call it "the magenta team". --Holly: "So, we're partying now, at Mitch's" Cool, but it also reminds me of how, in the Endurance Podcast, Connor commented how the Endurance contestants had a bunch of free time in comparison. --The last alliance that had its own name (other than the colors of the teams) broke apart as soon as it was formed. --Guesses: ----1. Blue ----2. This is a hard one: any of the other teams could dominate the other...at first appearances, brown? =---3. Gray, due to Stephen? But it could also be blue. ----4. Yellow, due to Jordan... ----5. Gray, Blue...maybe Green ----6. Yellow ----7. none.... ----8. What type of question is that? ----9. Hmm...if they were smart, they would eliminate Blue, though that would mean less Sarah!  Or, if they want a sacrificial lamb, Red. Or for the sake of tradition, Gray, haha. --What's interesting is that in the original game, at several points, people would be "squeezed out" of the pyramid. I don't think anyone was really hungover - most people had a plan to stay fairly sober so that they could do well the next day (the main exception being Dan maybe??). That's why we all went to breakfast too and made sure we had water for everyone haha. TBH the editing is more Endurance Awful style because I know you all love the plot line but they all tell me they love the quirks of the episode so each episode gets more "awful" haha. The thought behind it is - which team is here to play but not to win? They might be saved by an alliance here or there, but won't really win anything for themselves. (In my mind, that makes me think of E5 Orange, E3 Red, E2 Yellow, etc/) Not every question could be obvious! I had no control for what questions the hosts chose. They started in order and then starting bouncing around. That partner switch question was on the list, but was not read (I believe there were 15 questions??). I actually was with Ashley the other day and we spoke about why she chose to give it to Yellow! I'll post it soon! |
