Hey everyone! So I just announced to me friends that an Endurance 2 is finally in the works. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for my game this time through! Feel free to vote and comment on why you chose each answer! Also feel free to suggest new ideas I have not posted! There should be 8 teams and it is sure to be a blast  |

Last place goes to Temple is always a good one. It makes the competition more intense and people fight harder. I also like the karma twist but I'm worried that it wouldn't work in a real life situation because people already know each other prior to the game.

Thank you Bryan! Completely agree with both of those statements. I definitely have a round planned for an automatic elimination. Anyone else have any new ideas they think I should try?

Yes, last place goes to Temple is definitely a good one!
If you wanted a smaller change-of-the-norm, you could just have a round where the samadhi is an advantage for the next Temple Mission. (kind of like the Karma twist from E5, but without the Karma part. Haha)

Not really a twist, but more of a suggestion. I've always loved the E3 partner mission where people get to choose their partners based on how well they did in the mission. It usually creates drama and tension, as we saw in E3, lol

kwdrewfan - Yeah I did that once last season, and it worked pretty well! If I have a challenge that it would work out well in, I will try to fit it in! Thanks for your suggestions!
Bryan - I realllly wish I could do that because it was definitely the best team selection of all time! Personally I just think my friends and too good of friends with each other and wouldn't care if they didn't get the teams they originally wanted. Also we probably will do the whole competition in one day so everyone will already need to have their team colored shirt :S
firetruck421 - I loved the Mana Kisi and mainly because Green lied about what it was and then used it against their allies, Orange. If everyone knows what it is before though I'm afraid it might work more as a free pass because everyone is afraid to send them to temple because they know they will come back. This time around I'm making a list of all the twists and challenges and giving them the list so that way I don't have a special advantage over anyone. Thank you for your suggestions!!

Are you gonna film it or put it in story form?
(btw I haven't read Endurance Real Life yet... it's been on my to-do list but I've had so much to do for school)

I'm going to write a story for each episode and film it and add a short video for each episode, maybe 5, 10 minutes. I don't have as much time as Mats and since the players are older they'll probably lose interest haha. But I'm going to film the competitions, samadhis, temples and some confessionals.
Also you definitely should! I read the whole thing over and realized how much my writing improved haha.

Should I try to persuade them to have this spaced out into a month or so? This way they'll all be down for getting shirts and I can make longer episodes? Maybe one or two eliminations a time?

Maybe one or two eliminations a time? This is ideal to me. If I ever did a real life Endurance this is how I'd do it. The problem with this though is making sure everyone is free for all the days, instead of just one day. |

Then you can get the shirts, the contestants will have more time to strategize & form alliances, and everyone won't be completely exhausted at the end of the day. |

So here's what I'm thinking! I'm going to have a first day where there is a partner mission as well as a RTS mission - never actually done before in my series!!!
From there I will have a first Endurance mission and then probably call it a wrap. That should be a great start for the first two episodes!
Then maybe in between the next two times we can make the shirts depending on what color they got on. From there I can have the temple mission as well as two more rounds and then we'll be down to six teams.
I still have to run it by them but I'm reallllllllly hoping I can get this to work out.
