how would it be if the curse of the grey team still happened in hawaii and chris/lindi got eliminated first, how would the rest of the season go?

To start with, I think Gray would leave their piece for Purple, and nobody would've won in Pipeline. Other than that, assuming everything else that season would stay the same, Blue would either be split in between PRO (Purple-Red-Orange) versus GYB (Green-Yellow-Brown) (not unlike in E2), or would've been the pariah team due to their arguing. Depending on circumstances, Blue would either be the second team to be eliminated or Green. Therefore, I see Purple winning the whole season, maybe Yellow and Green would also be in the final three.

Yellow almost sent Gray and Orange the first round! I wish they did... Then there was no way that Final 3 could have been possible.
I think Purple and Yellow would have most likely dominated the game, and I would bet Yellow would win with Purple second, and possibly Orange or Red to round out the final three.

To be honest, that depends on the results of "Squaring Off" and what side Blue goes on. I don't really see Red in the final three.

I think Green would have had a much better chance at winning had Gray gone first. I could see Green outlasting Red/Brown/Orange/Blue and giving Purple/Yellow a run for their money.

To be honest, that depends on the results of "Squaring Off" and what side Blue goes on. I don't really see Red in the final three. Red could have easily have slipped by because they had no big enemies. They were good to Yellow and the only reason they got sent after the Superteam mission was because Gray and Purple were closer with Orange. There would have been no benefit in targeting them. Personally I think if Gray left here is how things would have went... Purple would have won squaring off, I'm almost positive Blue would have sided with them. I would assume Yellow and Green go to temple, Green loses. Yellow wins Out on a Limb, picks Orange and Purple for Superteams. That team wins, Blue and Brown go to temple to save Purple and Orange's alliance with Red. Blue goes home. No one wins pipeline? Probably very likely. Purple would have won I'm Pulling for You and gave the samadhi to Yellow. Vanetta the klutz falls again, Tom competes by himself, Yellow has to sit out. Purple would have won the Balance Ball mission and sent Yellow and Brown. Nicole still finds time to take about how she has been to every state in the US and how she has traveled to Europe xD Yellow would beat Brown again and Brown goes home. Yellow wins the samadhi, gives it to Purple. Orange or Yellow wins the temple mission and sends Purple and Red. Purple wins and advances to the final three. In the final three I think Yellow or Purple would win the final temple mission and the other would come back leaving them in the finals. Just a thought

Blue and Purple would have had an alliance because Reece had a crush on Willa. (random, right??)
I definitely see what you're saying about Red. They had no enemies in the whole game. Despite the fact that their alliance was against Yellow, I think they were actually good friends with Monroe.
I don't know, with the absence of Gray I can see Green becoming the powerhouse. Squaring Off was obviously not their mission as they weren't the most popular but with Gray gone I feel like the Red/Purple/Orange alliance would crumble a little bit. I feel like Lindi and Chris were the reason they were together (Lindi/Nicole and Chris/Reece and well..... idk why Red was there really). Nicole was closer to Vanetta so I can see Orange switching to Green/Yellow/Brown and Red was good with all of the teams. Purple would probably be the new target.

i honestly did not like gray and I wish that they left the first week. As you re-watch the episodes you'll see how they had others do their dirty work through out the season, so they can stay safe. It really irritates me.

^^^ But that just proves how good they were at playing the game. I agree, it irritates me too, but they were FANTASTIC! haha very true. i just hate how that happened for them! yellow should have sent them when they had the chance.

Just a thought I am sure yellow will pick purple and blue as their superteam, and they win and orange is safe, eliminating red. Blue does seem like a strong team if they've get along and if they've changed, so i could envision blue, yellow and purple being in the final three

I agree with everything here, although I think Green would win Squaring Off, because whoever Brown chose to go next wouldn't be so much of an issue. Whatever happens, Blue and Purple would go to Temple, and Blue would go home (leaving their piece to Purple). Yellow wins Out on a Limb, and picks Green and Purple for SuperTeams. That team wins, and Red and Orange go to Temple. Orange loses, leaves their piece to Red. As far as Pipeline, I think Green would win, and steal Purple's pieces, although Purple would win I'm Pulling for You, and have them sit out with the Samadhi. Red would win Balance Ball, and send Yellow and Brown to Temple, with Vanetta injured and Tom losing by himself, giving their piece to Yellow. Yellow wins Try Tri Again, and gives Purple the Samadhi, and Green wins You're Fired, with Red and Purple going to Temple. I'm willing to bet whoever came back would still be eliminated in the final three, resulting in a Green-Yellow final two.

Why would Red do better than Purple at Balance Ball?

Why would Red do better than Purple at Balance Ball? I know it's a stretch, but I think Red's communication would have gotten better as time went on, because the further they get into the game, the more focused they'd have to be at winning missions (Lindi said so about the Gray team's overall performance improving in the game, during the Samadhi ceremony in I'm Pulling for You). But even if Purple won Balance Ball instead of Red, the same thing would happen with Yellow and Brown going to Temple.

Everytime I do a rewatch, I notice that if a team's already won at least one mission before they're sent to Temple, especially when it's early in the game, then they're more likely to come back.
