"And before you leave, you actually have a chance to influence this competition. The gold frame behind you, around the friendship pyramid piece is the Triangle of Immunity. You can leave that piece and the triangle to any of the seven remaining teams. That gold triangle will give the team you choose the ability to save themselves from going to the Temple of Fate. Still a very important decision. I want you guys to take that piece with you and think about who deserves the power of immunity and I'll reveal your decision to the remaining teams tomorrow."
I wonder how silly JD thought that was as he was saying it. If a team wanted the team with the triangle to go to Temple, they'd just use it and have to send another team...basically a second life.
If the team with the triangle used it on someone else, why would they? Just to send another team, one that they might have an alliance with?

In my opinion, the game would have completely had Red gotten the TOI.
-Would Blue and Gray still be switched? -Would Green and Red switch instead? -Would unswitched Blue and Gray be sent to Temple? How does Blue do with Ike still as Taylor's partner? Would Gray have broken the Temple curse? -Would Red try to send Green to temple with Blue in the SuperTeam mission (because Aeriel and Lilly were friends) -If Red saves Orange (and Green still wins the F5 temple mission), how would a Purple/Blue ToF turn out? Who would the losing team give their pieces to?
I know that this is a very long post, but the game could played out very differently IMO had Red gotten the TOI. I think that Purple getting the Triangle of Immunity saved them. Had Purple lost to Red or Blue, I believe that they still would have kept the immunity, leaving Green to face off against Blue. I'm curious to find out what would have happened had Green went to Temple in that round against Blue (and lost). Never hurts to wonder who would have won that season.

If Red got the Triangle of Immunity...
-Would Blue and Gray still be switched? Assuming the same results in "Hot Potato", the question is, would Red have the power Purple had? Or would they use it differently? -Would Green and Red switch instead? See above. Green and Red would still be friends, but I find this to be unlikely. -Would unswitched Blue and Gray be sent to Temple? How does Blue do with Ike still as Taylor's partner? Would Gray have broken the Temple curse? Ike would've weighed down Taylor significantly. They would've almost become something like Tyler and Michelle from E2 or (on the drama front) Monroe and Bryanah from E3. If they managed to work it out, then they could go far. If not, then... As for Connor and Darci, maybe a third round...but they wouldn't be a threat to start with. -Would Red try to send Green to temple with Blue in the SuperTeam mission (because Aeriel and Lilly were friends) Nope. -If Red saves Orange (and Green still wins the F5 temple mission), how would a Purple/Blue ToF turn out? Who would the losing team give their pieces to? If that was the case (assuming a Connor-Taylor Blue Team), then I would see a Blue Team shocker. Purple gives their pieces to Green. As for an more unlikely scenario, what if Blue had the Triangle of Immunity? Or Yellow?

If Blue got the TOI: -I think everyone still goes after Blue and Gray and the teams switch but... -With Blue winning, does Blue still give Gray the Samadhi? Or does Orange (2nd place) or Purple get it? -Does Gray pull off an upset win, and if so, who goes to Temple? -If Gray loses, does Blue use the Immunity to save them? If no: I could see switched Gray winning at Temple, but do they go any further in the game, or are they the next team out (after Yellow)? Despite Ike and Darci being weak, I can easily see them getting into the final three because: -A Gray loss meant Red was going to send Blue. In a really questionable move, Blue gives the Immunity up to Purple. -A strategic move by Blue gives their piece to Green in order to break that alliance. Green still wins, but decides to backstab Purple and Red. Purple decides to pass the immunity to Gray. (another questionable move) Red wins and Purple shows Green up by giving its pieces to Gray. -Gray then wins the next mission, samadhi's Red, but Red wins. Red then sends Green and Orange, and Green loses. Gray decides not to use the Immunity to save another team.
In conclusion, we have a final three of Red, Orange, and Gray.
If Yellow got the TOI: -Red and Green definitely switch. -Orange pulls an upset win, and samadhis Blue, who is in total meltdown mode at this point. (think Willa/Antonio E3) -Switched Green wins and sends Yellow (but Yellow, in a move of unselfishness, decides to save Blue) and Gray. -Sadly, Yellow loses, but Gray, more motivated than ever, wins the right to pick Superteams and picks Purple and Blue. That team wins, and Green and Red go to Temple. Green loses, and a Gray-Purple-Blue alliance forms. Purple wins and sends Red and Orange. Orange wins. Orange then wins the F4 and samadhis Blue. Blue wins, and sends Purple and Gray (two strong teams)
Final 3 of Gray, Blue, and Orange
