Last time on Endurance!

The five remaining teams "squared off" in their fourth temple mission! In the mission, tensions were high between Yellow and Blue. After a long-fought mission with Green stuck in the middle, the Red team pulled out victorious, claiming their first win. When it became time to decide who was to go to temple, Red decided to stick true to their alliance and send two superpowers, Blue and Brown, to the temple of fate. At the temple, Brown succeeded and said goodbye to their friends Blue. Now that the Yellow and Blue controversy will come to a close, is all well on the island? In an endurance mission based on patience and teamwork, who will get the most important samadhi yet in this game? Time to see on this episode of Real Life Endurance!



The episode starts with the four teams sitting around in a circle. Janelle comes walking up with the Perseverance piece and a letter.

Janelle: Good morning everyone! I'm happy to congratulate you on making it to the half-way point in the game! Out of the 16 players who started only eight remain!
Kyle (confessional): I can't believe we have made it this far! And now that some of the stronger teams are gone, we are even closer to the finish line!
Emma (confessional): A lot of teams definitely did not expect us to be here. But now alliances are over and it's time to give this our all! No more hiding in the shadows!
Janelle: However, I know it seems a little emptier here now. The Blue team was definitely a strong competitor and I'm sure they will be missed. Even Yellow, I'm sure you can admit it will be different without having such a fun rivalry.
Mitch: It sure was fun, but I'm excited for the new competition.
Janelle: So Kyle, you and Alan were really close, how about you read their message!
Kyle: Sure thing!

"Dear four remaining teams,
You guys did it! We congratulate you all on making it this far in the game. We would do anything to be back in and competing right beside you. Although we were eliminated we know we made a great impact on the game. Green and Red, we challenge you to stop being so dependent on other teams and try looking out for your own best interests. The game is about over, and if you let Yellow any further, they will win the game. That being said Yellow, we think you have played a respectable game. We only wish we sent you to temple when we had the chance. Now that you are the strongest team there might not be another chance to send you. Brown, we wish we were sent to temple against anyone other than you. You were our friends from the start and never betrayed us. Although you might not be the most deserving team we are going to stick true to our alliance. Take our Perseverance piece, and go win that Endurance mission! Congratulations to all and may the best team win!

Janelle: Congratulations Brown, you no longer have just one piece! You are now tied for second with Red! Yellow still has a commanding lead with 7 pieces, and Green still has only their starting piece.
Ashley (confessional): Honestly I was happy to see Blue go. After trying to target us multiple times, I was glad to see their strategy fall through.
Vanessa (confessional): Blue has a point. If Yellow gets to the end there is no way for us to win. Maybe it's time to switch up our strategy.
Christina (confessional): We got another piece! Next goal, win the mission today and surpass Red.

Janelle: Now who is ready for an Endurance mission?
Mary: Always ready!
Janelle: I hope you all are, because today you are fighting for the biggest power yet in Endurance.
Emma (confessional): There are still two teams here who haven't won a mission. This would be beyond huge for us.
Janelle: Today you are fighting for the power to make the Super Teams.
Kyle: What?!
Mitch (confessional): Super Teams with four teams?! This temple mission is do or die. We need this power.
Janelle: But don't you want to know what you're playing?!
Everyone: Yes!
Janelle: This mission is called Plank Wars. You and your partner will be given two planks. Using these two planks you must navigate yourself to the far side of the yard and grab your flag. Then you must bring your flag all the way back to the start line, again using the planks. If you fall off on your way, you must go back to either the start line, or the halfway point, depending on if you have your flag already or not.
Emma (confessional): Ashley and I are two tiny girls, finally a mission that is up our alley.
Janelle: The first team to get their flag and bring it back to me not only wins the mission, but the choice of Super Teams and the Knowledge piece! Who has the knowledge to complete this mission the quickest? Alright everyone, get in starting positions!
Mitch (confessional): We are the biggest threat left. If we lose the mission we are without a doubt going to be paired with the weakest team. This is a big one.

Janelle: Are you ready? GO!
*The teams start using their planks to navigate their way across the yard. After a minute the camera shows a view of the four teams racing alongside one another*
Janelle: Right now Brown and Yellow are neck and neck! Green is right behind and Red has quite some ground to make up.
Christina: Kyle we can do this! We have the stamina!
Mary: Mitch keep putting the planks further, we have to pick up the pace!
Janelle: Oh Red just fell off! They have to go back to the beginning!
Bear (confessional): It's a little frustrating working with Vanessa in these kinds of missions. I want to win and she wants to win as long as she doesn't break a nail. It's not like this is just any mission!

Janelle: Brown is the first to grab their flag and head back! Only after a few seconds, there goes Yellow!
Kyle: Christina I'm losing my breath, lets wait until Yellow catches up and then keep going.
Christina (confessional): The one time we have a lead he wants to stop, does he not know what we are fighting for!
Janelle: Green has made it halfway! Brown and Yellow are both about halfway back-but oh Christina and Kyle both fall off! You guys must go back to where you picked up your flag!
Mitch: This is our chance Mary, we gotta take this!
Janelle: Red falls off again! You guys must start again.
Vanessa (confessional): I feel bad that I can't be of more help, but this mission is just not my forte.
Bear: Alright I'm about done with this mission.
Vanessa: Me too.
Janelle: It looks like Red resigned from this mission and are both taking a seat. But the other teams are going strong! Yellow looks like they are about 30 seconds from victory!
Mary (confessional): When Red resigned from the mission it was really disappointing. We are way too far into the game for teams to just easily give up. Other teams would love to be sitting here in the final four.

Janelle: Yellow is just steps away!
Mary: Mitch!-
Janelle: Mary loses her balance only steps away from the finish line and Yellow must do the second half of the course again!
Mitch (confessional): We were so close and Mary just falls stepping from one plank to the other. Really?
Mitch: Alright we are not out yet, lets run back and step our game up!
Janelle: Green has now taken the lead! However all the teams look exhausted and frustrated.
Ashley: My arms are killing Emma, you have to start passing the planks.
Janelle: Green is about halfway back! Brown is a good 10 seconds behind and Yellow is about 30.
Mitch: Mary we need this, it's time to kick it into high gear!

*About 20 seconds pass and the three teams are shown racing to the finish line*
Janelle: Yellow has now caught Brown and is only a few steps behind Green! Who will win this mission?
Christina: Keep pushing, Kyle! 30 more seconds and this mission is over!
Ashley (confessional): The end of this mission just sucked. We had such a big lead but no matter what Yellow and Brown were right on our tails. We really could have used this mission.
Janelle: Both Yellow and Brown pass Green! And the winner is...















































the Yellow team! Congratulations guys, you have won the power to choose Super Teams and the Knowledge piece! You guys are creaming the competition!
Mitch: Mary we did it!
Mary: I can't believe it!
*Yellow hugs and is shown putting their eighth piece on the pole*

Janelle: I am going to give you guys some time to think about this samadhi, it is by far the biggest one yet. I will be anxiously awaiting to hear who you choose!
Kyle: Congrats Yellow, you guys really worked for it.
Kyle (confessional): I needed that win so I could have Yellow for the temple mission. Now the ball is in their court. I just can't go to temple again.
Bear (confessional): Although I'm frustrated, it feels good knowing Yellow has the power. It's time to get rid of Brown once and for all!

*Mitch and Mary are shown talking by the huts, alone*
Mary: I can't believe we had that come from behind win, we are great partners!
Mitch: We are doing so well in missions! I'm so proud to have you as my partner!
Mary: Blue was definitely right. Now all we have to do is ensure we pick the right Super Team to avoid temple next round.
Mitch: Which brings up a point...
Mitch (confessional): I feel bad but this game is about winning now. No alliance is ensured to prevail in a Super Team mission. If we side with Red and lose, we lose our closest friends.
Mary: What are you thinking..? Choosing a team other than Red?
Mitch: Well do we want to win or do we want to take our chances?
Mary: Well win obviously...
Mitch: Then we need to sacrifice our alliance. Brown is by far the next strongest team and I think them and Green combined would be far too difficult to defeat.
Mary: Then what do we tell Red? Thanks for not sending us to temple but we don't want to work with you anymore?
Mitch: We can say we don't want to lose and definitely have one of us go home! It's not a lie!
Mary: I need to think about this...

*Green is shown talking with Brown*
Kyle (confessional): I have a feeling we will be stuck with Green for the temple mission. It could be worse, but it could be Red.
Ashley: So I'm assuming we are going to be partners for this next mission?
Christina: More than likely, the two alliances left in the game.
Emma: We can do this! We know how poorly Red performed in the mission, we might really have the edge over Yellow.
Kyle: That would be stupid for Yellow to pick Red, but maybe they will! That would be in the best interest for both of us.

*Back to Mitch and Mary talking*
Mary: You're right, in the end of this game it is about what single team makes it to the end, not what alliance does. Lets go talk to them.
*Yellow walks over to Red, both who are laying in a hammock*
Mary: Can I talk to you girls?
Vanessa: Yeah of course, whats up?
Mitch: We are just going to be straight with you, we think we are going to pick Brown for the Super Team.
Bear:Uh are you forgetting that we are an alliance?
Mitch: We don't want to take the chance of both of us getting sent to temple if we lose. At least if one of us goes, there is still a 50% chance of both Red and Yellow being in the final three.
Bear (confessional): Mitch makes a good point, I just hope it is sincere.
Bear: I understand, just know we will go our hardest tomorrow!
Vanessa: We won't be holding back!
Mitch: Thank you guys for understanding.
Mary: We love you two!
Mitch and Mary (team confessional): That was a lot easier than we thought. Now it's time to shock Brown and Green!

*The teams reunite at dusk with Janelle*
Janelle: Yellow I'm sure you guys put a lot of thought into this decision! Have you came to an agreement?
Mary: Yes we have! For the sake of keeping our ties with Yellow we have decided to make...











































Yellow and Brown a Super Team, and Red and Green a Super Team.

Christina: Wait what?!
Emma: This is not what I was expecting...
Mitch: We want to make sure there is no way both Red and Yellow get sent to temple, we can't let that happen.
Kyle (confessional): What a smart move on Yellow's part. They are here to win now. No more alliances.
Vanessa (confessional): It sucks not having Yellow in the next mission. Now we are competitors no matter what, there is no way for us both to avoid it now.

Janelle: That surely surprised me! It seems like a few of you didn't see that coming either! Well rest up, and be ready for a very important Endurance mission! I can't wait to see you all there, as Super Teams!
Mitch: Can't wait!
Kyle: Me either.
Mary (confessional): If we lose tomorrow I will be kicking myself. My gut tells me this is not the right thing to do, but I am going to trust my partner this time.
Christina (confessional): There is no way Red and Green can beat two of the strongest teams in the game, it would be a miracle. Lets go get our first temple win!
Ashley (confessional): So not only are we competing against Yellow but now we have to work with Red, this is a disaster.
Bear (confessional): We can do this. Today was not our day but we needed that to wake us up and help us realize what we are fighting for. I hope Yellow and Brown are ready for a fight!

Last time on Endurance!

In the final Endurance mission, the final four teams faced off for the Courage piece and the samadhi. But this was no ordinary samadhi. Tensions were high as the winner was able to create the Super Teams. Brown and Green were anxious to compete for their first mission win. Although both teams had the lead, Yellow came from behind in a surprise victory. Red on the other hand, showed frustration and a lack of teamwork - withdrawing midway through the mission. When it was time to create the Super Teams, Yellow decided to add Brown to their team for the best chance to win the mission. However, in yet another twist, Yellow and Brown may have a tougher time than they imagined. Which Super Team will win and guarantee themselves a place in the final three? And who will be the next team to leave the island? Find out right now on Endurance!



The episode starts with Yellow and Brown discussing, now as a Super Team.
Kyle: Thanks for picking us guys, we won't let you down!
Christina: We are so ready to go get our first mission win.
Mitch: We are glad to have you! We knew you guys would be the strongest and the most deserving to make it to the next round.
Kyle (confessional): We are in a hard place. If we win, Yellow is guaranteed to have a spot in the final three with 8 pieces. And if Red leaves, possibly 10 pieces. What if we took our chances at the temple? All we would have left would be Red and Green, which is no problem at all.
Mary (confessional): I feel good knowing we have Brown instead of Red. I feel bad knowing we let them down, but they could definitely still win today. It wasn't like we automatically sent them to temple, maybe they will surprise us.

Now Red and Green are shown talking by the huts.
Vanessa: A four girl Super Team, this should be interesting.
Bear: Hey we have won a mission and Brown still hasn't! Plus Green was kicking butt in yesterday's mission.
Ashley (confessional): If this is based on brains or luck, we can do this. But I'm not really counting on Vanessa or Emma for the strength.
Emma: Positive vibes! Being anxious or nervous won't change anything. We just need something offered up our alley.
Vanessa: I want Yellow and Brown to go to temple more than anything. We might be friends but next round friendships don't get you anywhere!
Ashley: Lets prove ourselves today ladies.

The camera pans to Kyle and Christina, talking by the water.
Kyle: So I've been thinking...
Christina: About what?
Kyle: What if we threw the mission today, forcing Yellow to go to temple.
Christina: What about us?! Don't you realize that we'd have a 50/50 chance?
Kyle: But if now is not a good time, when will it be? If they get to the final three with 8 pieces...
Christina: I know, you're right... Lets see how this mission goes and decide from there.

Janelle walks up to the group and leads everyone to the challenge.
Janelle: It is time for the temple mission. As I'm looking around every team has gone to temple! Except...
Mary: Yellow.
Janelle: Exactly. What do you think your chances are of going tonight?
Mitch: Just as good as everyone else. But we are working extra hard to make sure that doesn't happen.
Janelle: Best of luck to you guys then. Today will be the last day I will see one of the four teams standing in front of me. What do you guys think of that?
Ashley: I really don't want to go. These guys all my friends!
Mitch: I couldn't have asked for a better final four honestly.
Janelle: I'm glad to hear there is no major controversy! However this might change up the game...
Mary (confessional): What is she talking about? There's no way there can be another twist!
Janelle: In this mission, you will be competing as individuals.
Bear (confessional): This is just what we needed! No teamwork for a change.
Kyle (confessional): This makes my plan a whole lot harder now...

Janelle: In front of you is a high jump bar. There are two parts to this challenge, but only some of you will advance to play all of it! Your challenge is called (Lo DHi - Hi DLo) / (Lo)². (SIDE NOTE: We were all in AP Calculus, this is the Quotient Rule, which is a way to find derivatives of a function by division Isoundlikeatotalnerdokaybye) This challenge is going to be based on going low and going high! First, we will do limbo. The first three people to touch the bar will be eliminated from the challenge and will not move onto part two, the high jump. Are we all ready for part one?
Kyle (confessional): Until Mitch and Mary are out it makes no sense to forfeit. Lets just hope they mess up before Red and Green do.
Bear (confessional): This is good for us. Ashley and I might just have the strength to do this on our own. Time to show them what we are made of!

Janelle: Everyone ready? Time for round one!
Everyone makes it through safely for the first few rounds. Then we see some teams running into problems.
Mitch: Why do I have to be 6 foot tall?
Kyle: I hear ya!
Ashley (confessional): If the challenge was just based on this it would be a breeze! No way I'm not getting to that final round.
Vanessa: This is getting hard, I'm not meant for this!
Mary: It's a shame Ryan wasn't still here, he would be killing this! (SIDE NOTE: my brother was 12 at the time and barely 5 foot)
Vanessa: I can't do this anymore.
Janelle: Vanessa touches the bar and is out of the game! Two more eliminations and we will move on to the second part!
Bear (confessional): No surprise there. It's okay, I'm glad this is individual.

Janelle: Yellow and Brown have the slight advantage! Will they keep this going into part two?
Emma: I'm sorry Ashley, you can do this!
Ashley: No Emma!
Janelle: Emma touched the bar and is out of the challenge! Only one more left! Will there only be one Red/Green player in the final?
Ashley (confessional): Bear and I just need to stay in for round two, we can't do this by ourselves.

Janelle: This bar is getting low! How are you feeling everyone?
Christina: I like this!
Kyle: Can't go too much longer...
Mary: I don't have too much left in me...
Bear (confessional): I'm taller than all the girls left. I don't understand how I'm still in this but I can't do this forever!
Janelle: Mary touched the bar! The rest of you are going on to the final part!
Mitch: Good try Mary.
Mary (confessional): I was so close. I know I would have done well in the second part. Good thing the other three are still left!
Kyle (confessional): Now is our chance. One down, if Mitch gets out, Christina and I can both get out on accident and finally send Yellow to temple!

Janelle: In this part you are going to jump over the bar. We will start low and get progressively higher each round. If the bar is too high and you don't think you can clear it or that you are going to hurt yourself, you can resign from the mission.
Ashley: No way!
Mitch: We got this guys. Strength in numbers.
Kyle (whispering to Christina): If Mitch gets out, we get out.
Christina (confessional): I don't want to go to temple again. At all. We just need to win this.
Janelle: Lets begin!
Emma: You can do this Ashley and Bear! We know you can!
Mary: This is right up your alley Mitch! Final three!

A few rounds pass until the bar is about stomach height.
Ashley (confessional): I can't let Bear down but I am only so tall. If only this mission worked the other way!
Janelle: Christina hit the bar! We now have only one player left from each of the remaining teams. Talk about at even playing field!
Kyle (confessional): Come on Mitch, screw up.
Vanessa: Great job Bear! Proud of you!
Janelle: And only one round later...

















Ashley hits the bar down! Only three remain!

Ashley (confessional): I was so close, ugh I just feel awful for leaving Bear as the only one left.
Mitch (confessional): These girls are tough. If they win they will definitely have pulled off one of it not the biggest upset this season.
Janelle: The bar is now at chest height, you all are doing great!
Bear (confessional): These heights are nothing, way easier than they appear.
Christina: Good job Kyle, don't give up!

A few rounds pass.
Janelle: The bar is now at shoulder height, you guys don't mess around! Very impressive competition here!
Ashley: Come on Bear, we believe in you!
Janelle: They are very close to hitting the bar! All three only have about an inch between their feet and the bar on their jumps!
Kyle (confessional): Why am I pushing to lose so much? We can't go with 0 wins into the final three...
Janelle: And...







































Bear hits the bar! Either Mitch or Kyle must clear this in order to claim the mission win!
Mary: Mitch you can do it! One more and we are in the final three!!
Christina: Focus Kyle, remember how important this is!
Vanessa: Please please please...
Janelle: And...
































































Mitch clears the bar! Yellow and Brown have clinched their spot in the final three!
Mitch and Mary run up and hug while Kyle and Christina do a secret handshake.
Mitch: Mary we made it!! Final three and no temple!
Janelle: Congratulations both Yellow and Brown, you surely both have Endurance. Red and Green, I will see you both tonight at the temple of fate!
Mitch and Mary hug and all the teams walk away from the mission.

Ashley (confessional): So close. We were so close to winning that temple mission. I wish Emma and Vanessa could have helped us out a little more.
Bear (confessional): If I leave at temple tonight I know I did all that I could to stay here. I'm just not ready to go yet, we just need more time.

Red is shown talking in the huts with each other packing their things.
Vanessa: Bear you played so well today. I'm proud of you.
Bear: I'm proud of us. We made it a lot further than a lot of strong teams and I think we have proved ourselves.
Vanessa: I just wish we were partnered with Yellow, we might not be going.
Bear: Kyle was left too so I honestly have no idea who would have won. I know they chose the safe route but I just wanted to play with my friends.
Vanessa: I want to come back and be in the final three with them and Brown. Lets hope luck is on our side.

Green is now shown talking to Brown as they pack their things in the other hut.
Kyle: You guys have to come back. We really want you in the final three.
Ashley: Don't worry we do too. We know we can do it again.
Emma: I have a good feeling about tonight. Don't worry Brown.
Christina (confessional): It's a really good feeling knowing we are secure for once. I'm glad Kyle didn't throw the mission, I just really want Green to pull out victorious.

The four teams meet one last time before Red and Green depart.
Mitch: You can do this Red, we believe in you.
Mary: And if you guys don't win, we're really sorry for the way all of this turned out.
Bear: We will miss you guys like crazy. We hope to be right back here in about an hour.
Yellow hugs Red and Green before they go, and Brown hugs Green. Then the two teams depart for the Temple of Fate.

The two teams are shown walking up to the temple, and setting down their pieces and backpacks.
Janelle: Welcome both Red and Green. For both of you, this is your second time coming here. Do you need me to explain the rules?
Ashley: Nah.
Bear: All set.
Janelle: Okay when you are ready pick your first element.
Emma: Water for sure.
Vanessa: Water? Or fire?
Janelle: Lets see who won round one...







































Red: Fire
Green: Water

Janelle: Green wins the first round! With one more win you guys will be victorious and head back to have a spot in the final three. Red, one more loss and you will be heading home. Go again.
Bear: Fire again. They won't pick the same element twice.
Vanessa: I can't watch...
Emma: Please say we got this...
Janelle: Will the dominant element please rise now...

Green: Wood

Bear: Yes!
Green buries their faces in their hands.
Janelle: Red played the same element twice and won this time! Will this round be the deciding factor? Whoever wins will return back to Yellow and Brown! Lets see these elements!
Bear: Third time's the charm?
Vanessa: They know our strategy by now.
Ashley: I honestly have no idea...
Janelle: Will the dominant element please rise now.





















































Red: Fire

Bear: Still alive.
Janelle: We have a tie! Who will it be? Go again!
Bear: Four is no good...
Ashley: Do you really think they'll do it for a fourth time?
Emma: I hate this...
Janelle: Okay it's time to see. Who will be persevering into the finals?
Ashley and Emma turn their heads away while Vanessa and Bear turn away.

Ashley: Oh my God, Emma!
Emma and Ashley hug while Red stands disappointed.
Janelle: Red team, I am sorry to say that the road ends here. However, the footprint you left on this game is one that will be remembered by all. Through all the controversy you guys made strong friendships and proved that you do have Endurance.
Ashley: Great job Red, we will miss you a lot.
Vanessa (near tears): You girls made a great Super Team. We will miss you both.
Bear: Best of luck in the finals, take down the powerhouses!
The Red and Green team hug and Red disappears behind the fire.

Janelle: Well Green, you guys did it. You have conquered two temples, broken up an alliance, and are heading back for a 1 in 3 shot at the grand prize. What are you going to do now?
Ashley: Get more pieces!
Emma: And win our first mission.
Janelle: I will see you both tomorrow then! Head back and go show Brown and Yellow who they are messing with.

Green packs up their things and are shown heading back through the woods, and eventually to the fire where Yellow and Brown are talking.
Ashley: Guess who?
Christina: No way!
Christina runs up and hugs both Emma and Ashley, and the other three players join in.

Mitch (confessional): We are going into the finals against two teams who have never won a mission on their own. This is perfect.
Christina (confessional): Glad Green came back. They definitely deserved it more even if they don't necessarily have the wins to prove it.
Ashley (confessional): We did it! Two temple wins and in the final three. They aren't getting rid of us. When I say we are bringing our all tomorrow I really mean it.

The camera pans away as the final three teams are shown chatting and smiling around the fire.

Last time on Endurance!

The two Super Teams faced off in yet another Endurance mission! In the mission, Yellow and Brown were victorious, sending Red and Green to the temple. At the temple, Green outwitted Red, making them the fifth team to be eliminated from the game. In today's episode, the three teams will reminisce about the teams that have fallen. However, one final surprise remains in store. What two teams will become one step closer to being Endurance champions? Find out today on Endurance!



The episode starts with the final three teams sitting around the fire at dawn, with Janelle approaching them.

Janelle: Good morning to the final three teams of Endurance!
All: Good morning!
Janelle: As you know, Red was eliminated at the temple last night. They were strong competitors and will certainly be missed. Mitch, you were really close with both girls, would you like to read the letter?
Mitch: Sure thing.

"Dear Green, Yellow, and Brown:
Congratulations on making it to the finals! We would love to be where you guys are right now and commend you on sneaking by this far. Brown, we have had a little bit of tension between us since the 'Squaring Off' mission. We think you guys don't really deserve to be this far and mainly got here by being friends with strong teams. Green, you two were our friends even if we had a bumpy road. You two need to step your game up if you are going to compete with Brown and Yellow, but we would love to see you advance to the final two! Yellow, even though you are the ones who sent us, we think you two are definitely the most deserving team left. We both kept each other safe as long as we could and we are proud to have been a part of the longest standing alliance. Although you don't need it, you deserve both our Courage and Ingenuity pieces. Best of luck guys.

Janelle: Well Yellow, congratulations! You now have the lead with 10 pieces, the biggest lead in Endurance history at this point in the game! How does it feel?
Mary: Amazing! I can't even explain it!
Mitch (confessional): I was so surprised we got not one but both of Red's Endurance pieces. We must be doing something right this game, and I'm glad to have this much of an advantage.
Kyle: Congrats guys...
Kyle (confessional): Honestly I wasn't a big fan of Red, but I can't help but be upset that they gave Yellow even more of an advantage. It's just annoying at this point.
Ashley (confessional): I'm a little hurt Red didn't give us one of their pieces... They knew we needed it and that if we go to the finals anything helps.

Janelle: Well that is all I have for you! I need you all to meet me up at the temple in about 2 hours! From there we will start our final temple mission. On the way up, you will see a stick with a colored flag for each team eliminated. I want you to take some time to think about each team on the way up and say a little about them to each other. Sound good? I will see you all soon!

Mitch and Mary are shown talking by the water.
Mitch: How did we pull that off...
Mary: I can't believe it! Our plan worked perfectly.
Mitch: Well except Red isn't here. I feel kinda bad, they had the chance to send us and didn't.
Mary: I know but we didn't necessarily send them, they had to fight to stay in.
Mary (confessional): At the end of this game it's a dog-eat-dog competition. We can't carry a team to the finals, that's not how this works.
Mitch: We are one mission away from the finals. We can't go to temple now.
Mary: I am so scared to go. This could ruin everything we have accomplished.
Mitch (confessional): We are on a great steak right now. One wrong move could throw away 10 pieces, and I'm not ready to let that happen.

Brown and Green are shown prepping for the walk up to the temple in the huts.
Christina: Today could be our last day! And if not, tomorrow is the last one no matter what!
Emma: I really want it to be us two, and not only because we have the least amount of pieces. You guys are great friends.
Christina: We want you guys too! We just both can't lose the temple mission.
Ashley (confessional): Our streak for missions is still non-existent. It really is time for this to change.

The three teams are shown reuniting in their Endurance shirts and making their way to the temple. They approach the first flag, the Orange team.
Kyle: Remember their letter to us? They were so mean!
Ashley: This seems like so long ago, I barely even remember them...
Mitch: I feel bad for them, they really wanted to play and should have made it further, even if they were a little bitter then they were voted out.

Now they advance to the Gray flag.
Mary: I miss them! They were such a fragile team but did great in the missions!
Christina: They gave us the samadhi twice! I would miss them otherwise, but they had something against us for some reason...
Mitch (confessional): Before the game I made a deal with Ryan to go after Blue and Brown. But they don't need to know that...

Next is the Purple flag of Laura and Kaleb.
Emma: The one team we could probably beat in a mission!
Kyle: They were pretty forgettable too...
Ashley: We just beat them at temple, that was definitely the scariest round for us after getting the samadhi and going to temple.
Mitch (confessional): I can't help but notice we have got almost every piece of the eliminated teams. I don't think we could have played this game better.

Now the Blue flag is shown.
Kyle: Oh the Blue Team.
Ashley: Out of all the eliminated teams they deserve to be here the most.
Mary: They were fighters for sure! I'm just glad we got rid of them before they got rid of us.
Kyle (confessional): I just wish Blue was in the final three with us. Us, them, and Yellow deserve it. Then it'd be a true fight.
Christina (confessional): It makes me really sad Blue isn't here for this part. They wanted it, they earned it.

Lastly the teams are shown walking up to the Red flag.
Ashley: Oh Vanessa and Bear...
Emma: I still have no idea where we stood with them.
Kyle: I know where I did, that note was harsh today.
Christina: Yeah some bridges you just can't fix.
Mitch: Still no idea why they gave us both of their pieces... We got lucky.
Mary: They were true allies through and through, just like Blue was to Brown.

The teams leave the final flag and finish the ascent to the Temple of Fate.
Janelle: Hey guys. How was the walk?
Ashley: I liked it! It was nice to look back and remember each team.
Mary: It makes me miss a lot of them so much! Like Orange or Gray who never really got a chance to show what they were made of.
Janelle: That's the hard part about Endurance! Strong teams can go just like that. In the end this game is based on the friendships you have made. Karma chooses to rear it's head at the strangest times. Which reminds me...
Christina: Enough with the twists!
Kyle: Yeah just put them away Janelle!
Janelle pulls out six baskets, one with the name of each remaining player.
Janelle: It's time to see what each of the eliminated teams thought of you!
Mitch: This is unreal...

Janelle: But they did not leave behind words and thoughts like you did. They left behind something much greater.
Emma: What does she mean...
Janelle: Because the twist of this mission... Is that a team already has an advantage.
Mary: You don't mean...
Janelle pulls out the Karma piece.
Janelle: Sometimes it's not about if you win or lose, but how you play the game.
Mitch (confessional): Just like Endurance High Sierras! We need this so bad!
Janelle: So today we asked all the eliminated teams, "if there was one person you could help, who would it be?"
Kyle: Crap...
Janelle: And the team with the most combined votes, will not only win this piece, which will be vital in the next round; but a 15 second advantage in today's final temple mission.
Emma (confessional): In order to even compete with Yellow and Brown we HAVE to have won this. We can't be at a disadvantage to either of them if we want to win today.
Christina (confessional): I can't help but feel like my partner isn't going to rake in the votes. I really hope I might have done enough to make up for us.

Janelle: Okay everyone stand behind your basket.
Everyone moves behind their respective basket and puts their hands on the lid.
Janelle: Alright we are going to go one player from each team at a time. First lets see Christina from Brown!
Christina reaches into her basket and pulls out a sheet of paper with the number one on it.
Liz: Christina was a good friend through the whole game, I want her to win it all!
Janelle: Okay Christina you got one vote! Do you think you would get more or less?
Christina: Well I was hoping more than one...
Christina (confessional): I was never mean to anyone in the game so it kind of stinks. But at least I got one.

Janelle: Okay Mary, go ahead!
Mary pulls out a piece of paper with the number one on it.
Mary: One vote.
Katelyn: Mary is a great friend and competitor. I wish her the best!
Janelle: Yellow and Brown are both tied! Now Ashley, go ahead!
Mary (confessional): I thought I might do a little better than that considering almost every eliminated team gave us their piece. Let's hope Mitch got more than me.

Janelle: Okay Ashley, lets see what you got!
Ashley pulls out a card with the number one on it.
Bear: I choose Ashley. I admire her strength and wish we could have been partners.
Janelle: We have a three-way tie! Lets see which one of you got the most!
Ashley (confessional): I really hope Emma did better than I did, but I wasn't expecting too many.

Janelle: Kyle, you are up next!
Kyle: Come on give me three!
Kyle opens his basket and pulls out a card with the number one on it.[/i]

Alan: I choose Kyle, hope it helps him get to the finals!
Janelle: And with two votes it is impossible for the Brown team to win the challenge. It is down between Emma and Mitch.
Kyle (confessional): I knew I wouldn't get more than one. Time to give this mission everything I possibly have.

Janelle: Emma and Mitch, I want you both to open your ballots at the same time. On the count of three. 1...

Janelle: Well I'm not sure if you need it, but here you go Yellow, the Karma piece!
Mitch (confessional): We have 11 pieces out of 14 going into this mission today... If we can get to the next round, we WILL be the Endurance champions!
Mary (confessional): I am so proud of us. Not only do we want to win but so do the people who were eliminated. We need to win the mission for them!

Janelle: And as promised! Yellow you will get a 15 second advantage in today's challenge! Do you all want to know what it is?
Emma: Please.
Janelle: That would be too much fun wouldn't it? While you guys were all walking up to the temple, we set up the challenge for you. From here you will run down the path back to the field. There you will receive your instructions to the mission. The first team to complete this mission in its entirety will advance to the finals, not having to go to the temple of fate. Are you all ready?
Mitch (confessional): We need to still give this challenge absolutely everything we have. If we think we automatically won because we have the advantage we might end up just like Blue on Endurance High Sierras. We cannot let this get to our heads.
Kyle (confessional): So Christina, Mitch, Mary, and I are all runners. This could be interesting. Mitch and Mary might have the distance but we have the initial speed, which is usually just what you need for a mission like this.
Ashley (confessional): We are going to do our best despite the odds already against us. A mistake by the other teams could open up a new window for us. Staying positive.
Mary (confessional): This was our first time even seeing the temple. I don't want to see it again tonight.

Janelle: Okay everyone get on the starting line. Are you all ready?
Everyone nods their head.
Janelle: Okay Yellow team you are first... Ready, set... GO!

The camera pans away as Yellow is shown running down the hill from temple.

And yeah I had a feeling the game seems rigged after the last few rounds. I must promise you everyone was aware of all the challenges and twists just like I was, I sent them information about all of the rules and rounds of the game before the day we played. Every piece, samadhi, and temple selection is real! Sometimes I feel like this game is centered around the Yellow team but that's because I only really remember what happened word for word when Mary and I were talking or when we talked to other teams. Plus this happened two years ago from this coming April, so it's been a while! I will try to post the next episode today.

Last time on Endurance!

The three teams took some time to remember the fallen teams. However, it turned out that they had not seen the end of them. At the temple, Janelle explained how the eliminated teams got a chance to give back to any team they wanted to help in the final temple mission. In the end, Yellow won receiving five out of the ten votes. They won the Karma piece and a 15 second advantage in the final temple mission. Will it be enough to propel them to the finals? Or will they fall to the curse of the Karma mission? Find out today on Endurance!


The three teams are shown in ready position standing at the edge of the temple.

Janelle: Okay everyone get on the starting line. Are you all ready?
Everyone nods their head.
Mitch (confessional): We have no idea what's really happening now. Time to put our game faces on.
Mary (confessional): We are runners so I'm glad we have a slight advantage. But who knows what lies at the end of this hill?
Janelle: Okay Yellow team you are first... Ready, set... GO!
Mitch and Mary take off running down the hill.

Janelle: Yellow is the first one off! After 15 seconds you guys can go. How are you feeling?
Christina: Nervous.
Ashley: Sick to my stomach.
Kyle (Confessional): We have to stay cool. We can't make any mistakes. We need to rely on our speed and teamwork.
Ashley (Confessional): This is just like last round. We have to win or else we are going up for a third time, and I don't like these odds.
Janelle: Ready guys... go!

The Brown and Green teams are shown running down the hill as fast as possible.
Kyle: Let's make up this lost time Christina!
Ashley: Come on Emma we are losing them! We need this mission!

Yellow is shown arriving first down the trail to the temple where they approach three signs, one for each team.
Mary: I'll read it! In front of you are a line of boxes. You must stack your boxes on top of each other and pick up more on your way. Once you get to your final box, the eighth box, there will only be two left. If you are there last...
Brown is shown running down to the signs.
Kyle: There they are right there!
Mitch: Lets go Mary lets go!
Janelle: Yellow team is off!
Christina: If you are there last and there is no box for you, you are out of the challenge. If you drop your stack you have to re-stack before continuing on. The first team to bring all eight boxes back to their sign and stacks them wins the mission.
Green is finally shown running down to the sign.
Emma: Ashley you read I'm out of breath!
Ashley: In front of you are...

Janelle: Yellow has a fair lead right now, but Brown is making up some ground!
Mitch: Come on Mary we gotta hustle!
Kyle: Keep it slow Christina, we can't afford to drop these...
Janelle: Yellow is on their third box while Brown is on their second. And here starts Green!
Ashley: We can't go slow Emma, we can't get eliminated out of this mission!

Janelle: All of the teams are doing great, no one has dropped their boxes yet! But the more they put on the harder it'll be! Also there are some hills ahead that will make it even harder for these teams!
Mitch: Slow down the hill Mary!
Mary: Watch that top box!
Janelle: Yellow with a good save, but Brown has almost caught up to them! Green has some distance to catch up!
Emma (confessional): We have to get to the second half of this mission, because that's when the mistakes are going to happen.
Janelle: Yellow has six boxes, Brown has five, and Green has three! Yellow is now at their seventh box!
Mitch: Mary watch these top boxes, they're slipping!
Janelle: Yellow is so close to the final box but oh! They just dropped all of their boxes! You must re-stack them before you can continue on! This is opening up the door for both Brown and Green!
Christina: YES! Kyle we can do this!
Mary: Quick Mitch put on the last two!

Janelle: And Brown is the first team to get the eighth box! Only leaving one slot for the last team!
Mitch: Lets move!! We need to go!
Ashley: We have to run Emma!
Janelle: And Yellow claims the final eighth box! Green, you are OUT of the mission. Set everything down!
Emma: No!
Emma (confessional): So now we are guaranteed to go to a third temple... We need luck on our side tonight.
Ashley (confessional): We had hard competition. I just wish we weren't eliminated halfway through.

Janelle: Yellow is going to have to run if they want to catch up!
Mitch: Lets jog Mary, there's no other way to catch up.
Janelle: Yellow is starting to jog and Brown is continuing to walk their fastest. Yellow is making up the gap and oh- Brown drops their boxes and has to re-stack!
Christina: Don't worry about Yellow Kyle, we need to play our game.
Mary: We can pass them right here Mi-
Janelle: Yellow drops their boxes! Both teams are tied!
Kyle: Two more boxes, lets go!
Janelle: And Brown is off! And as they climb the hill- their top boxes fall backwards!
Mitch: Time to move Mary!
Mary: This is our chance!

Janelle: Yellow jogs by Brown with their boxes and have reached the final stretch! They seem to have gained a pretty big lead!
Mitch (confessional): I couldn't believe we were coming in for our third mission win in a row. Until...
Janelle: Yellow loses a few boxes! Mitch sets them to the ground and Mary piles on the last two! This is giving Brown a final shot to be in this mission!
Kyle: Hold them lower, we can use our bodies to keep them in place.
Janelle: Both teams are heading towards the finish line, both handling their boxes very well! But the winner is...































































































the Yellow team! Mitch and Mary, you are a lock for going the final two!
Mary: WE DID IT!
Mitch: Great job Mary!!!
Yellow hugs each other and wipes away tears in their eyes.
Kyle and Christina drop their boxes and Kyle kicks one of them away.

Janelle: Unfortunately Brown, you will be joining Green at the temple tonight. You two will make the final trek to the temple, where one will come back to face off in the finals. Best of luck to both of you.
Kyle (confessional): So close... And if it wasn't for that stupid advantage we would have won. I'm furious.
Christina (confessional): We tried our best bet yet again Yellow was one step ahead of us. I know Kyle is upset too, we just wanted that security.
Ashley (confessional): We are going against our friends again this temple. I just wanted one of us to win this mission so that there was still a chance for there to be a Brown and Green final two.
Emma (confessional): I wasn't too surprised, we just need to do our best tonight. We've done it twice, we need to do it just one more time.

Mitch and Mary are shown talking inside the huts.
Mitch: How did we do it again, we are looking great for the finals! I'm so proud of us.
Mary: I was so shocked when we pulled away at the end, I thought for sure Brown had it.
Mitch: Lets hope they get lucky tonight, I want to go against them in the finals.
Mary: Agreed. I want a deserving team to be in the finals.

Ashley and Emma are shown walking through the water.
Ashley (confessional): We are trying to enjoy what could be our last day here. Either way we have a maximum of one more night here. And I'm glad to have made it this far.
Emma: We made it so far for being considered such a weak team. I'm proud of us.
Ashley: I am too. We made it further than Gray, Blue, Red... We have proved a lot.
Emma: And we just have one more thing to prove. Tonight.

Kyle and Christina are shown talking in the other hut.
Kyle: There's no helping in being mad, so we just need to stay positive.
Christina: I mean look at the odds, they've gone twice and we've only gone once. I don't know if they can pull of three.
Kyle: And we will come back and give it our all. And ignore the pieces, we can do this.

The final three teams are shown hugging before Green and Brown head off to temple.
Mitch: Y'all come back now ya hear? (E5 reference people!)
Mary: Best of luck to both of you guys!
Kyle: See you guys soon.
Ashley: No way! You'll see us in about an hour.
Mary: We wish both of you could come back, may the best team win!

As the camera pans away from the teams hugging it moves to the Green and Brown team walking up the trail for a final time.
Kyle (confessional): I'm going to miss this game. It just feels so real this time going up.
Ashley (confessional): Emma and I have done this twice before. We have a good strategy at this game and Brown has just got lucky.
Emma (confessional): I'm so glad this is a brain game. I couldn't take another physical test again these teams.
Christina (confessional): We have an even playing field. We earned this and I'd hate to see it end now.

Janelle: Green and Brown, for the final time, welcome back to the temple of fate. Before you are the three cauldrons. One containing water, one containing fire, and the other containing wood. For the last time you will write down an element on a rock and I will throw it in the burning cauldron behind me. The first team to two wins will be returning back to the finals to compete against Yellow. When you're ready write down your first element.
Emma: Wood, like the Green team?
Kyle: What's the first thing you see Christina?
Janelle: Let the dominant element please rise now...

Brown: Fire

Ashley: Dang it...
Christina: I knew it!

Janelle: Brown you have one win! One more and you will return to the game! Green, one more loss and you will be the final team eliminated from Endurance 7. Make your next selection...
Kyle: Again, again.
Christina: They'll expect that, something new.
Ashley: Are you sure?
Emma: No, you put down whatever you think.

Janelle: Okay lets see. Will the dominant element please rise now...

Ashley: I can't believe it..
Kyle: Christina we did it!!!

Janelle: Well there we go. Green, wood floats on water, and I'm sorry to tell you that is enough. You must forfeit your final piece and depart the island. Thank you both for playing. Although you weren't the strongest team you made great friends and gave every mission your all. I know Yellow and Brown will both miss you a lot. Thanks for playing.

Green and Brown hug by the fire for a final goodbye.
Ashley: You have to win this for us.
Emma: Good luck guys.
Christina: We'll do it for you guys.
Kyle: Bye girls.
The Green team disappears behind the fire.

Janelle: Well Christina... Kyle... you guys did it!
Brown team hugs and looks at Janelle.
Janelle: How do you feel about heading back against Yellow for the finals?
Christina: We can do this. We've came this far.
Kyle: Don't count us out yet.
Janelle: I wish you both the best of luck! We will find out tomorrow how each team will be looking for the finals. Get some rest, and go show Yellow who they are competing against!
Kyle: Can do!
Christina: Lets do this.

Mitch and Mary are shown waiting by the fire when they hear someone yell out of the woods.
Christina: Guess who!
Mary: Christina!!!
Mary and Christina hug while Kyle and Mitch hug.
Kyle: We told you we'd be back here!

Kyle (confessional): I knew we could do this. I'm so proud of Christina. We worked hard and earned this final two.
Christina (confessional): Kyle and I bring out the best in each other. We have the strength and the brains and although I can't believe I'm saying this, I'm in the final two!
Mary (confessional): I have had a secret alliance with Brown this whole game. Christina and I are great friends and I made sure I kept her safe as long as I could. I can't believe our alliance made it to the final two. I honestly couldn't be happier!
Mitch (confessional): We did it, and have Brown right with us. I'm glad to say a strong team is going to win this game!

The teams are shown with their arms around each other walking back to the huts.

Hi! Soo I just joined (after creeping on the board for probably a year or so yeah hi there) and I've really enjoyed this so far!! Personally I've kinda been rooting for Brown ever since Blue left (maybe I'm a terrible person but I love it when alliances get destroyed > and I usually root for the leftover team bc they're the underdogs now), so I'm really glad they survived the Temple! But Mitch I've gotta respect your strategizing and gameplay.. like.. yes. very good.
This whole thing reminds me of when I had my own Endurance game in 2013... *sighs wistfully*.. we had shirts with the Endurance logos on them, and the friend who hosted it for me was literally named JD and it was really amazing and aahh i miss it.
Anyway.

Ugh...... Yellow made finals.... Okay, lets be honest, Your team deserves finals after the game you've all played. But still... you know. Any ways, though I totally don't expect it, I really hope Brown wins the next mission. Seriously, I love the final game, and I feel like that's the most dramatic part... so to have that be cut so early would be dreadful.

Either way though, this has been a very entertaining series. Thanks for posting and sharing!

Not a problem, thank you for always replying!! I try my best to not make it focused on Yellow because I was on it but this game happened nearly two years ago so it's all what I can remember. Again thank you and expect a new episode by the end of the night!

Ahhh I'm glad, too! Thanks for making me feel so welcome! ^.^ Lol I have private videos of the challenges and stuff on Youtube, although I'm not sure how comfortable my friends would be with sharing it publicly and stuff y'know. The sad part of us all being so close is that there was no drama! After getting sent to temple everyone was just like "awwww it's okay, I don't mind, I know you had to send someone!!" etc. it was like, come on. At least pretend we're playing a very serious game here So not much interesting to write about. Unless perhaps I overdramatized.. ehh lol it was really fun, though. ^^
Oooh I'm looking forward to the next episode(s)! Although I'm also really sad that it's ending
