I never realized how good of friends they were, but rewatching this season I can see it. During the RTS, they're rooting for each other to stay on and Nicole seems very upset when Vanetta falls. And in Ring of Fire, Vanetta says in an interview, "I don't do alliances, my friendship with Nicole is the most important thing." I wonder if this friendship fizzled out on the show due to Nicole's scheming ways, or if they're still friends.
