Endurance had its fair share of protagonists, antagonists, and quiet people. But which contestants do you think are the most polarizing? Which ones split the fan base into love/hate factions?
In my opinion, I think Cealey was really polarizing. Many thought she was a cool girl, but on the other hand, others thought she was mean to Taylor and didn't deserve to win.

Sabrina. I know a bunch of people loved her for scheming ways...but that's exactly what made a bunch of people dislike her as well.

I also think Scooter may or may not be polarizing. Some people were neutral about his ways, but others thought he was arrogant. And Dakota was quite polarizing.

I think her name was Nicole, Girl on E3 Orange team. I think Nicole was almost unanimously disliked among the legions of Endurance fans.

After listening to the podcast last night, I thought Taylor E5 was quite polarizing. There were some people who sympathized with her and what she's been put through (e.g. me), while others were like Cealey and went, "Oh my God, please stop with the crying!"
And Briana E6 as well. Again, we should have sympathy because her "ideal" partner had been eliminated in the RTS, but was "That's the way the game goes." worth rocking the boat?

No I think Nicole is a great answer! I was on and off with Nicole during the season. At some points she did stick up for Yellow (like in the final four when she sent Purple and Gray to temple). She was mean but definitely had some redeeming moments.
And yeah Taylor is a great answer too. I did not like her whatsoever until Yellow got eliminated.

By season, I'd have to say:
E3: Nicole This needs no explanation.
E4: Chris A lot of people thought he was cocky, but I actually liked that team and thought they could have gone further.
E5: Taylor Even though Cealey was kind of a bully to Taylor, who really didn't deserve it, I think that fans of Gray probably felt upset when Blue gave Samadhi to Gray and ganged up on them, sending them home.

I might have to watch E2 again just to make sure, but I think Annie was quite polarizing. Personally, I like her, because she's so cool and a strong competitor (shared by other fans); however, one might take into account her treatment of Calley, which ruined some people's perceptions of her. I also heard people describe her as "smug" and ruthless.
In addition, based on what I've read on the forum, E3 Gray has started to get their own love-hate camps. I know Chris and Lindi are great competitors who have phenomenal teamwork (emphasized in Pipeline), but at the same time, there's the constant antagonizing of Yellow (which their alliance agreed with) and their smugness. What do you think?

Has anyone thought Max E1/E2 was really polarizing? Seemed really likable on E1 and in my opinion, really cool on E2, but at the same time, messing up The List, that "Give it to the next team you want to betray" note, and trying to make a deal with his alliance's rivals...which turned everyone against him. What do you think?

I see a lot of people praise him for being cool and strategic and strong in challenges, but I've also seen many who dislike him for the reasons you gave (& saying that he was weaselly).

Would y'all say Lana is polarizing?

Would y'all say Lana is polarizing? A bit. Of course, there's that endearing underdog role the Green Team really played during the season (climaxing with that win in "House of Cards"--that was amazing), and Lana seemed really determined to win, but at the same time I was turned off by her bad attitude. She also wasn't a strong competitor, as seen in "Tilt" and "Plant the Flag". This pick might be off-base, but don't you think Calley is a bit polarizing? Endearing, sweet, and determined, but not the most athletic person and quite emotional. What do you think?

I honestly really loved Lana. And I don't think Tilt or Plant the Flag were her fault for underperforming - Tilt was mainly Trevor's fault because Lana was heavier than him. And Plant the Flag, well... she was the only girl going against a bunch of guys (for what it's worth, I think she outperformed Skyler at least). She seemed smart and had a good grip on strategy, just got unluckily saddled with a subpar partner.
I do think Calley is a little polarizing in her own right. She was definitely endearing at some points, but at other times her emotional outbursts made her a little annoying.
