She wanted to be like Miley Cyrus or Selena Gomez I think. I guess her career didn't get enough momentum. Back in 2006 I was a friend of her fan page on Myspace. She was very much like I need more adds. She said stuff like I need 2000 friends by a certain date. To me it seemed that she used her friend number a "tool" for promotion. I also feel that she used Endurance in the same way. I also remember reading a self made bio of her saying that she left mid-season on Endurance. This was a bit of an exaggeration since she was the first team to leave. Perhaps these are some of the reasons why she isn't prominent anymore.

That's interesting. You'd think we'd have heard about her more especially because she seemed so into this "self promotion" thing. Not talking about like on TV and stuff, of course, but just in the general "Endurance circle". EDIT: Quick search and I found her Twitter. And she's performed with Siobhan Magnus! I loved her on American Idol! |

There's two main ways you can do it: The "Disney" route, which is overnight success, but rarely does it lead to long-term success. Miley Cyrus is basically done. Zach and Cody? Yeah, they're gone. Most of this type of celebrity is a "today's craze, tomorrow's forgotten about" deal. Most of the American Idol people also fall into this group. The other method is to work hard, be legit, and have a slow rise to fame. Unfortunately, most people tend to choose the first option. |
