JD ROTH: Today 20 contestants from around the country and the world came here to Catalina Island to compete against each other to become the Endurance Catalina Island Champ.

AMBER: I'm Amber, I'm 27 years old, I live in Northern California. I'm a huge Endurance fan. I hope that I go far in this game. I would hate to go home on the first day from the right to stay challenge.
JOHN: I'm John, I live in Southern California. You all may know me as The Mad Hatter from the 1990s tv show Adventures in Wonderland.
ROLANDA: I'm Rolanda, I'm also 27 years old, I live in Canada. I hope that I go far in this game or at least make it past the right to stay challenge. Also I'm best friends with Amber.
GEOFF: I'm Geoff, I also live in Canada. I really hope that I will go far in this game or at least make it past the right to stay challenge because I don't want any other guy to be with Rolanda. Rolanda is my girl.
DESTINY: I'm Destiny, I'm 19 years old, I live in the USA.
SETH: I'm Seth, I'm also 19 years old, I live in Mississippi.
ALLYSA: I'm Allysa, I'm 20 years old, I live in Tennessee.
KADYN: I'm Kadyn, I'm 22 years old, I also live in the USA.
AMAYA: I'm Amaya, I'm 21 years old, I came all the way here from Japan.
CAMRYN: I'm Camryn, I'm also 20 years old, I also live in Mississippi. All my friends call me Cam.
JENNIFER: I'm Jennifer, I'm also 27 years old, I also live in the USA.
JULIAN: I'm Julian, I'm also 20 years old, I also live in the USA.
MIKI: I'm Miki, I'm also 20 years old, I also came all the way here from Japan.
JEAN-PAUL: I'm Jean-Paul, I'm 29 years old, I live in France.
AYAME: I'm Ayame, I'm 18 years old, I also came all the way here from Japan. I'm also Miki's younger sister.
DEVON: I'm Devon, I'm also 18 years old, I also live in the USA.
CARMEN: I'm Carmen, I'm 23 years old, I also live in the USA.
ZAK: I'm Zak, I'm 25 years old, I also live in the USA.
RAYLYNNE: I'm Raylynne, I'm also 20 years old, I also live in the USA.
AIDAN: I'm Aidan, I'm 30 years old, I also live in Canada.

JD: Welcome, I'm JD Roth. You're all here to compete against each other to become the Endurance Catalina Island Champ. You will need 14 Pyramid pieces to become the Endurance Champ. They are Courage, Commitment, Discipline, Luck, Heart, Knowledge, Leadership, Strength, Trust, Teamwork, Perseverance, Ingenuity, Friendship and Karma. Some of you will have to survive the Temple of Fate. On Temple days the winner of the Temple missions will have to make the decision of two teams who will get sent to the Temple of Fate, but choose carefully because two teams go up but only one team comes back. Right over there is where you will be staying while you are here. It has no electricity and only a piece of wood to sleep on. So now why don't you go and see where you will be staying and I will see you later for the Right To Stay challenge.
*Shows the Girls entering their hut*
THE GIRLS: Oh my god!!!
ROLANDA: This is so cool.
DESTINY: This is just like home.
AMBER: I could so get use to living like this.
*Shows the Guys entering their hut*
THE GUYS: Oh my god!!!!
GEOFF: This is so cool.
JOHN: This is tight.
SETH: This is so totally awesome.
*Shows the contestants talking outside their huts*
AMBER: So if you could pick your partner before going home on the Right To Stay challenge who would you choose.
ROLANDA: I would want Geoff.
AMBER: I kind of figured you would say that Rolanda.
ALLYSA: What about you Amber?
AMBER: I don't want to say who I want as my partner just yet.
MIKI: Oh come on please tell us.
AMBER: *confessional* I don't want them to know why I want John as my partner. The reason I want John is because I know that he is The Mad Hatter from Adventures in Wonderland and I have had a crush on him since I was 8 years old.
JOHN: Geoff who do you want as your partner?
AMBER: I know he wants Rolanda as his partner.
GEOFF: Amber's right about that. I want Rolanda to be my partner and no one elses.
AMBER: John who do you want as your partner if you make it past the right to stay challenge?
JOHN: I don't want to say right now because you'll never know who will make it past the right to stay challenge.
AMBER: How true that is.
JOHN: *interviewed* I didn't want to say but I want Amber as my partner. I don't know if she'll want me because she doesn't want to say who she wants as her partner.
*Shows the contestants walking towards JD*
JD: In a few minutes 6 of you are going to be going home and the rest will become the 14 official Endurance Players. So do you all want to know what you are going to be doing?
GROUP: YEAH!!!!
JD: Ok, today you are going to have to hold on to those metal pipes hanging over the water as long as you can. The first three guys and the first three girls that fall off will be eliminated from this game and the rest will be the official Endurance players. So are you all ready?
GROUP: YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
JD: As always it's ladies first.
*shows the girls grabbing on the metal pipes*
JD: On your mark, get set, GO!!!!!!!!
*shows the metal pipes moving back and up over the water*
JD: Don't let go girls!
DEVON: You can do it girls.
CAMRYN: Don't fall.
ROLANDA: Don't fall, don't fall.
JOHN: Come on girls you can do it.
JULIAN: Let's go girls, let's go.
JD: Five minutes girls!
AMBER: Don't fall just think of John and you won't fall.
GEOFF: You can do it Rolanda! Don't fall!
KADYN: Don't fall, Amaya.
JOHN: Come on, Amber you can do it. Don't fall!
SETH: You can do it girls. Don't let go.
*shows one of the girls falling after ten minutes*
JD: Oh there went Raylynne. The first one to go home. Just two more girls left.
JEAN-PAUL: You can do it girls. Don't let go.
AIDAN: Don't fall girls!
*shows another girl falling after fifteen minutes*
JD: There went Jennifer. Just one more girl. Come on girls, you can do it.
ZAK: Come on girls you can do it.
*shows one more girl falling after 20 minutes*
JD: That's it. The last girl that fell was the Allysa. The rest of the girls are the 7 official Endurance players.
*shows the 7 remaining girls celebrating and jumping into the water*
AMBER (on being an Endurance Player): I can't believe I made it. I just knew that I would. All I did was just think about John and that made me not fall.
ROLANDA (on being an Endurance Player): I can't believe it. I thought that I was going to be one of the ones that was going to fall, but I'm glad I held on longer when I did.
*shows the 3 girls that got eliminated*
RAYLYNNE (on being eliminated): I know that I could've stayed on longer if I tried a little harder.
JENNIFER (on being eliminated): I wish I could've stayed on longer but I guess you can't always get everything that you want.
ALLYSA (on being eliminated): I can't believe that I didn't stay on longer.
*shows JD talking to the guys*
JD: Guys it's now your turn and let me tell you those girls out there were very impressive. Are you ready guys?
THE GUYS: Yeah!!!!
*shows the guys grabbing on the metal pipes*
JD: On your mark, get set, GO!!!!!!!!

JD: Don't fall guys. Let's see if you can make it longer than the girls.
AMBER: Come on guys. You can do it. Don't fall.
ROLANDA: You can do it guys. Don't let go.
*shows someone falling only after 2 minutes*
JD: Aidan just fell only after 2 minutes. Two more guys.
DESTINY: Don't fall, guys.
CARMEN: You can do it guys.
MIKI: Don't fall.
AMBER: Come on John you can do it. Don't fall. Please don't fall.
*shows someone else falling after 10 minutes*
JD: Seth just fell. One more to fall.
ROLANDA: Come on Geoff don't fall. Please don't fall.
AMAYA: Come on Kadyn please don't fall. You can do it.
AYAME: You can do it. Don't fall.
*shows the last guy falling after 20 minutes *
JD: That's it. The last one that fell is Zak. The remaining 7 guys are the other 7 official Endurance players.

JOHN (on being an Endurance Player): I can't believe that I made it. Now hopefully I could get Amber as my partner because I don't want anyone else to be partnered with her.
GEOFF (on being an Endurance Player): Yes I made it. Now I can hopefully get Rolanda as my partner. I don't want anyone else to be with her.
*shows the 3 guys that got eliminated*
AIDAN (on being eliminated): I can't believe that I didn't make it. I thought that I would've stayed on longer because I have two more pairs of hands than everyone else.
SETH (on being eliminated): I wished I could've stayed on longer. I guess I fell off for a reason.
ZAK (on being eliminated): I thought I would've been the first to fall since I'm the smallest one here. But I'm surprised that I stayed on as long as I did.
*shows JD talking to the 14 official Endurance players*
JD: Congratulations you 14 are now the official Endurance players. Tomorrow you will get into your teams. So get a good night's rest and I will see you tomorrow for the partner game.
