EPISODE #1: Welcome To Solitary
*Lights turn on to see a large spherical computer set turning on*
Val: Hello. My name is Val. Welcome to my experiment.
*The episode flashes to 9 small pods with 9 people blindfolded and standing in the center of each one*
Val: This is a game like no other. The people in those pods will take on new identities. And be pushed to their bodies breaking point until only one receives $50,000. This is Solitary.

*Inside the pods, all of the players stand still turning their heads*
*The screen in the pod lights up with a green octagon as Vals voice is heard*
Val: Welcome to Solitary. Please remove your blindfolds.
*The camera splits as all 9 players are see removing their blindfolds*
Rolanda: What the...Ok this is wierd.
Kevin: Wow! This is crazy!
Val: Indeed it is Kev-#7.
Kevin: What?

*The outside of the 9 pods are seen and in the center of the room is a giant Val*
Val: During their stay in Solitary, I will not recognize the players by their actual names. Instead, I will call them as their pod says.
*The pods flash the large numbers on the back wall*
Val: But before we begin our tests, let us meet our Solitarians.

Val: What is your name #1?
David: Umm...My name is David.
Val: Nice to meet you David. My name is Val.
David: Thats a nice name. Cant wait to see more of you Val!
Val: I assure you...You will.
*The camera flashes to Pod #2 and a young girl is sitting on the floor*
Val: #2? Please state your name.
Erin: My names Erin but I guess since Im here Im #2?
Val: That is correct.
*The Camera flashes to #3 & 4*
Val: Please introduce yourself.
Danielle: Hi! Im Danielle. Im a Junior in College and Im super excited for this game!
Alex: Hey Im Alex. Im ready to do whatever it takes to get that 50 grand.
*The Camera flashes to #5*
Val: #5? Are you there?
Mike: Yeah. Who are you?
Val: I am Val. I will be with you on this journey of Solitary.
Mike: Really? I guess I could get used to you.
Val: Im sure we will become very close.
*The Camera flashes to Pod #6 & 7*
Val: Knock Knock.
Rolanda: Whos there?
Kevin: Whos there?
Val: I am.
Rolanda: I am who?
Kevin: I am who?
Val: I am watching you.
Kevin: ...That wasnt funny. I little creepy actually.
*The Camera flashes to Pod #8*
Val: Hello Car-#8. How are you?
Cara: Im good. Why did you call me #8?
Val: That is your name isnt it?
Cara: No...Its Cara.
Val: Look behind you.
*Cara turns around to see the large 8 on the wall*
Cara: Oh thats why! Whatever you say.[/color]
*The Camera flashes to Pod #9*
Val: Last but certainly not least. #9.
Luke: Hi...Im luke. Hey do you think I can get a bigger room?
Val: Im sorry that is not possible.
Luke: Are you sure?
Val: Very.

*The Camera flashes back to the giant Val*
Val: Now that our contestants are settled in, Let us begin our first test. I hope they can "pay attention".

*Val comes over the pod screens and gets all of the players attention*
Val: Solitarians. It is time for your first test.
Erin: Really?
Mike: Sweet!
Luke: Do we get anything special?
Val: The winner of this test will recieve...Safety from the first Treatment.
Erin: What does that mean?
Val: That means you will not be going home first.
Erin: I think I would like that.
*Val begins to explain the Test*
Val: There are 9 players in Solitary. Each with a designated pod. Your test is simple. In each heat, I will give a quick flash of the combonation made up of the 9 numbers. The first player to hit the Green button and tell me the correct order of that sequence will get to eliminate one other solitarian from the test. The Solitarian who outnumbers the others will not take part in my next treatment.

*Val begins to explain the importance of this test*
Val: The players have only been in Solitary for afew hours. But a short time can really effect their visual learning patterns. We will see who has the sharpest mind shortly.

*Val comes back to the players pods*
Val: Solitarians. Please get ready to begin the test.
*As soon as Val finishes speaking, Pictures of the 9 back walls of the pods flash across the screen*
Luke: What the!?[/color]
Kevin: Wow!
*Everyone begins to look at their screens as the pictures flash on and off*
Rolanda: 6...5...3...Oh![/color]
*Rolanda runs up and hits the Green button*
Val: Your answer?
Rolanda: 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 4, 6, 5, 3! Yes!
Val: That is...Correct.
Rolanda: What now!
Val: Please tell me who you wish to eliminate.
Rolanda: Sorry but Im gonna go down the line and start with #1.
Val: Recorded.
*Val flashes to #1's Pod*
Val: #1.
David: Yeah?
Val: You have...been eliminated from the test.
David: Dang. I knew it.
Val: What makes you say that?
David: I had a feeling.

*The 2nd Heat begins as Pictures this time move quickly across the screen*
*Almost instantly, #7 runs and hits the Green Button*
Val: Your answer #7?
Kevin: Im gonna go with 4, 5, 6, 1, 3, 9, 2, 8, 7?
Val: That is...Wrong. And because of that, you cannot answer anymore for this round.
Kevin: What!? No way!
Val: Way.
*The Camera flashes to Pod #2 who believes they have it*
*Erin walks up and pushes the Green Button*
Val: Your answer?
Erin: 4, 5, 1, 6, 3, 9, 2, 8, 7?
Val: That is...Correct.
Erin: Yes...I wanna eliminate #3!
Val: Recorded.
*Val flashes to #3's Pod*
Val: #3.
Danielle: Yes Val?
Val: You have been...eliminated from this test.
Danielle: Awww really?
Val: Yes. Good luck in my Treatment.
Danielle: Thank you Val!

Val: After just 2 heats, Both Solitarians who got the answers right were girls. #7, who was wrong by 2 numbers has been the only person to submit a wrong answer. Lets continue.

*The Heats continue as players begin to drop*
Val: Round 3.
*Shows Pod #5 dissapear from the split screen*
Val: Round 4.
*Shows Pod #8 dissapear from the split screen*
Val: Round 5.
*Shows Pod #9 dissapear from the split screen*
Val: Round 6.
*Shows Pod #2 dissapear from the split screen*
*The camera flashes to the 3 remianing pods*
Val: This will be Round 7. Begin.
*Pictures move around the screen becoming extremely distorted*
Rolanda: Stop moving them Val![/color]
Kevin: Gahhh!!! Cant you pause the tv for just a minute!?
Val: If you wish.
*Pod #7s Screen stops with a picture of the 7 back wall on it*
Kevin: No! Why did you do that!?[/color]
Val: You said. Pause it for one minute.
Kevin: So...60 seconds?
Val: Yes.
*The camera flashes to Pod #4*
Alex: Ok I think I might have this...[/color]
*Alex hits the button*
Val: You have an answer?
Alex: Sure do! Is it...8, 1, 6, 7, 9, 2, 3, 4, 5?
Val: It is...Not.
Alex: What? ...
Val: This means you cannot answer until the next round...If you make it.
Alex: Stupid!
*The Camera flashes to Pod #7 whos screen is finally unpaused*
Kevin: I think I got it.[/color]
*Kevin hits the button*
Val: Recording.
Kevin: 5, 8, 1, 6, 7, 9, 2, 4, 3?
Val: Recorded. That is...Not the answer. This means you cannot answer.
Kevin: Thanks Val...
*The camera flashes to Pod #6*
Val: #6?
Rolanda: Tell it to me straight Val. Im out?
Val: You are...Not. Ironically. You are the only one who has not guessed and has not guessed wrong. Please eliminate a pod.
Rolonda: Hmm...Im going with #7 on this one.
Val: Recorded.
*Val flashes to Pod #7*
Val: #7. I bear news.
Kevin: No need to tell me. Im out.
Val: You are...Out.
Kevin: Ok. I just gotta be ready.
Val: You do.
*The Camera flashes to the final 2 pods*
Val: This is the last round...Begin.
*The final set of pictures pop up and all of it is pictures of 4 and 7's Pod*
Rolanda: What the...I dont know.[/color]
Alex: Its just showing the same pictures. Is something wrong?
Val: I assure you there are no problems.
Rolanda: Ok...

Val: This final Puzzle consists of 9 pictures of the #7 and #4 pods. If the players can notice the 1 second interval of pictures, they may catch on that some may repeat.

Alex: I dont know![/color]
Rolanda: This is just to confusing! Do any pictures repeat?
Val: Look carefully.
Rolanda: ...Oh! I see it Val I see it!
Val: Then remember and hit the Green Button.
*Rolanda begins to watch the screen more carefully and realizes the answer*
*Rolanda jumps to hit the button*
Val: Yes #6?
Rolanda: 6, 4, 4, 6, 6, 4, 6, 4, 6!
Val: That is...
*Rolanda looks nervous*
Val: Correct.
Rolanda: Yes! Yes! I did it! I cant believe it!
Val: Believe it. You will not take part in the treatment.
Rolanda: Thank you Val! Your awesome!
*Val shows up on #4's Screen*
Val: #4.
Alex: Yes Val?
Val: The test is over.
Alex: Does that mean I didnt win?
Val: That is correct.
Alex: Ok...Congrats anyway to #6.

Val: #6 will not be leaving Solitary yet. But one of the other 8 Solitarians will. The players will have to "pay attention without it getting to their head".

Val: Solitarians please enter your pods.
*The players enter to see the bar*
Val: Welcome to your first treatment...The first Solitarian that cannot take the pain and hit the Red Button will be leaving Solitary. Forever.
Mike: Val what to do we have to do?
Cara: Are we just hanging from the bar?
Danielle: How does this work?
Val: When I say begin, you will hang upside down and I will put up a word for you to spell. You must spell the word before you feel the need to drop or hit the Red Button. If you do fall, you will incure a penalty round. And remember, the player who hits the Red Button first will leave Solitary forever.
Kevin: Im definitly not giving up in the first round.
Alex: Looks like its gonna be interesting.
Val: Please prepare yourselves.
*Everyone stands by the bar*
Val: Please hang upside down.
*Everyone begins to hang on the bar*
Val: Begin.
*Before the the first word pops up, the screen goes black*

And a Test will almost push one person to push the Red Button before the Treatment.
