I think it was wednesday but last week i decided i would watch endurance since i havent watched it in a while. So it was nearing 7 (when its on) and i decided to turn it on. When i went to the channel it said "channel not purchased." Now ive had direct tv for a year and we bought it around this time but we had it when we got it and we never purchased it. We also have a year left on the contract. Anyone havve any ideas why this happened or has this happened to you?

How many boxes do you have?
The first thing you do is disconnect the power to the box for about 45 seconds. Plug it back in, and after it reboots, try DK again.
Does it work? Problem solved.
You'll have to do this for each box you're having issues with.
If unplugging the box doesn't work: Turn to channel 218, 257, 330, 354, and 618. Those channels are part of the same package that DK is part of.
If you see "channel not purchased" on any one of those, you don't have DK's package. It's possible that you were getting Choice Xtra as part of a free promotional period and they kicked you out of it.
After the box resets, if you see live TV on channels 218, 257, 330, 354, and 618, but not DK, call customer service. Tell them you unplugged your boxes when they ask.
I'm thinking: 1) You changed your programming package, and when you did, you lost DK. 2) The package DK is in was part of a free promotional offer. If you want DK, you'll have to call customer service and sign up for that package.
