OMG!
we did a high ropes course 2 summers ago. it was awesome!
there was this one where 2 people go up, and its literally a tightrope. then there are ropes hanging down that you grab onto to catch your balence, but as you keep going, they get further and further apart.
and of course tiny me had to get the girl that;s twice my size, AND scared of heights across!! I DID IT! it was awesome. i have pix somewhere.
high ropes courses are FUNN! haha sorry i forgot all about that!!

Ohhh Jade what was the camp you went to cause that was one thing to! I forgot to mention that, Its the 15 foot jump thing. Theirs ropes above you you could swing on but everyone just swung across though the air on their cord.

Well my thing wasn't really about Ropes, I don't know why its called the Ropes Course, but they had this thing that was very similar to the tightrope thing Jade talked about! Only instead of ropes, they had logs standing upright that we could grab onto too. Only on the last section were there ropes. And we all had to work together to get to the end. It was hard. We held hands and all and stupid me, I was SHAKING, I don't know why, but I fell like 50 times and I was like the last person to finish.

After that we did...Umm...Oh yeah! They had these 2 trees and they had ropes in a geometric pattern hanging between them and we had to get all 12 people through and we could only touch the ropes three times. And we could only go through each section 3 times(there were 4 sections). And between 2 sections there was a pinecone, and if it hit the ground, we would all have to start over again. Anyway after several tries (in which the guy made some people close their eyes because they accidentally touched the wire!) we figured out to waste one of our touches, and pull the lowest wire down, and get everyone through that, holding hands because we figured out if we held hands it would only count as 1 person going through. So of course clumsy me was the only one who touched the wire.

Then the third thing we did, we had 3 platforms. Two of them were big, and set far apart. There was one in the middle, but sort of off to the side, and we had 2 platforms. One was long but it wasn't long enough to reach the one in the middle, and the other was really short. Anyway we needed to get everyone from 1 big platform to the other. And to make things worse, he made me blind and stand on the small platform. Also if the person fell, they would lose their arms & eyes, and if the boards touched the ground, we all had to start over. He said if we didn't finish in 30 minutes the platform would turn into a volcano and we all would die. Anyway they figured out how to get the boards positioned or something, but because I was "blind" I couldn't see what they did. They sent Calvin and Brandon over, then sent Calvin over to the final platform, then tried to get me across. Of course I was the one who messed it up, but I was blind for Pete's sake! Anyway Christine had come over and was telling me to put my foot somewhere, and everyone else was yelling at me to put it somewhere else, and what could I do? I had to trust them but then the boards fell. Anyway we were doing like really bad but eventually the guy said that Kalyn was blind and the mechanic, and Christine was the healer but her potion was on the final platform. If they could get Christine to the other platform and back, then "heal" Kalyn, she can build us a portal and we could go to the final platform, and that's what we did. xD

The last thing was, we had a long, smooth log and we all stood on it. He made us all mute, and we had to arrange ourselves in birthday order without anyone falling off. If anyone fell off, we had to start over. He gave us a few minutes to discuss strategy(at this point we didn't know the birthday order thing, and we weren't "mute" yet). I told them that one person should sit down, keeping their feet off the ground, and the other person should step over them, and that's what we did. Then he said the game started, then he made us mute and we had to figure out who was where in birthday order. Of course, I had positioned myself first on one end, and the end where my birthday was(my birthday was in November so I had to go to the last position) was all the way last on the other end. So everyone kinda just rearraged themselves and Christine's like "We're done!" but I'm like "No, we're not, I'm November". So I had to climb over EVERYONE. And yeah. Then we ate lunch and left It was so fun though
