JD: Hi, I’m JD Roth. You may know me from shows like Endurance, Moolah Beach, or Opportunity Knocks. But now I’m here to bring you a new kind of reality show, that not only tests the contestants’ strengths and weaknesses, but their friendship and trust.

JD: Bet you want to know how this game works?
Everyone: Yeah!
JD: Well, first of all…you are going to be separated, right here, right now.
Everyone: *shocked faces*
Donna: Oh my gosh
Tatiana: Ah!
JD: Once you’re all split up into three groups of ten, I will visit you all and tell you how this game will be played. There will be no contact with the other groups, except for missions.
*more shocked faces*
JD: Let’s begin, shall we? On group number 1...Tatiana. Kasey. Emily. Aimee. Bella. Noelani. Sherry. Alexa. Zoe. And lastly, Maria.
*the ten girls head off to one side*
JD: Group 2: Daisi, Emma, Tina, Joyce, Jennifer, Ashlea, Leah, Anna, Donna, and Lyla.
JD: And everyone else, you’re on group 3.

Confessional-Emily: The people here are so loud and outgoing and they just shut some people out…I couldn’t have been stuck with a more non-Emily group.

Confessional-Tatiana: I love it here already! The people are amazing, these huts are amazing. I really want to know what the next twist is!

JD: Hey guys! I bet you’re wondering what’s up next?
Everyone: Yeah!
JD: Well, first of all, today…nine of you are going to be eliminated.
*shocked faces*
JD: Each group will participate in a separate challenge and the last three people from each group will be eliminated and sent home. After that, we will have another mission, once again played separately by the groups, and three more people from each group will be eliminated!
*worried faces are seen from everyone*
JD: After that, we will have 12 people…But we will only be competing in a final 10. The groups will finally be reunited and joined together, but the two people to lose the challenge will not get to stay with their friends long…Because they too are going to be eliminated.
*some people look around at their friends within their groups*
JD: Once we get the final 10, every day there will be a challenge. The last two people in the challenge will be put up for elimination, where the others will vote someone out. This will continue until we have our Survival of the Fittest champion! Everyone ready for the first mission?
*everyone’s mouths drop open*
JD: Follow me.

GROUP ONE
JD: Over the water there are ten bars…the rules of this mission are simple. Grab onto a bar and hang on tight. Because the first three people to fall off will be eliminated from Survival of the Fittest. Everyone ready?
Aimee: I guess so…
JD: Then ready…set…lift!
*the bars lift up and some people are struggling after just a few seconds*
Bella: Gah, this is hard!
Alexa: My arms are so tired!
Kasey: Hang in there everyone!
*someone falls*
JD: Tatiana is the first person eliminated from Survival of the Fittest! Two left, at least for this group!
JD: 1 minute, guys!
Bella: *slips off to one hand, then a second later, falls*
JD: Bella just fell! One more person!
*a few seconds pass by*
*someone else falls*
JD: Noelani fell! Everyone else, congratulations*
*everyone hugs*

Interview-Tatiana: I wanted to stay here so badly…but…that was really tough *cries*

Interview-Bella: I really would have liked to stay longer, but maybe there’s a reason for falling! I wish I could stay around and get to know my friends better, though…

Interview-Noelani: *shrugs* I’m out…what can I say?

Interview-Kasey: Everyone was really surprised when Noelani fell out! I mean, she’s like…a beast.

JD: Ready…set…lift!
*the bars lift up and a few people start struggling immediately*
JD: Thirty seconds*
*two splashes are heard*
JD: Anna and Daisi fell within milliseconds of eachother!
JD: One minute now!
JD: One minute thirty seconds! You guys are tough!
*someone falls*
JD: Jennifer just let go! Everyone else, congratulations! Daisi, Anna, and Jennifer, I’m sorry, you have been eliminated.

Interview-Daisi: I’m smaller and shyer than the other people…I didn’t even stand a chance.

Interview-Anna: I seriously thought I would have made it farther! Good luck to my best friend, Leah…

Interview-Jennifer: Both me and Anna were eliminated…and it sucks…the others are tougher than I gave them credit for…*buries her head in hands*

*the bars lift up*
Amy: Yall, this is really hard. I’m gonna fall. I can’t do it.
Maye: No, Amy, don’t give up!

JD: Amy has given up!

*everyone’s faces are full of concentration*
JD: No one is giving up…
JD: Two minutes now! This is longer than both the other groups!
JD: Josephina looks like she’s struggling! Maye also!
Maye: Hold on, I just need a better grip…*readjusts her hold*
Josephina: Don’t fall on me, Maye.
Maye: I won’t.
JD: Wow, three minutes! Good job guys! Everyone seems to be struggling now…
*someone finally falls*
JD: The last person eliminated is Ashley! Good job, everyone else!

Interview-Amy: I was the first one to fall. And it was just so hard. Right now I’m just kind of numb. I’m going to miss everyone so badly…

Interview-Emilee: I made a lot of good friends out here and now I’ll be leaving…It just crushes you emotionally to have that happen.

Interview-Ashley: I held on for so long then my arm just…slipped. I can’t believe it’s all over for me, and on the first day two…*starts to get teary eyed*

In the early episodes I'm not doing much characterization because a lot of people are gonna be eliminated but once we get down to the last 12 I will start adding more characterization and stuff.

Last time on Survival of the Fittest!
The teens were separated into three groups
Each group competed to see who would be staying and who would be going
And in the end, nine people were eliminated on the first day

Now, nine more people, three from each group, are going to be eliminated on the second day.
Friendships will be broken, and new ones will form.
This is…SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST!

GROUP ONE
Confessional-Aimee: I think everyone has gotten more closer since we’ve actually spent a night with eachother and talked and gotten to know eachother. This elimination today is gonna be very tough.

Interview-Alexa: Out of the people remaining here, I’ve formed a huge bond with Zoe. She’s just my best friend. Aimee and Kasey are good friends too, but I can see Emily and Sherry causing some drama in the future.

Interview-Maria: I’m the shortest and least outgoing, and I’m also Spanish, so I feel a bit out of place here…I deserve a fair chance at this game and I sincerely hope this next mission isn’t as tough as the first one was.

GROUP TWO
Confessional-Tina: You can kind of tell this early who’s making alliances with who. Like, Leah, Donna, and Lyla are pretty close, and so are me and Emma.

Confessional-Emma: Short people for the win! Haha…me and Tina(who’s not so short) are going to storm this game!

Interview-Lyla: I’m the youngest one here, but that’s not a disadvantage. The disadvantage is that everyone kind of distrusts me, Donna, and Leah. They have reason too, also. But, for me, I can’t trust anyone. Especially Ashlea…she just kind of lurks around. Also, Emma and Tina look pretty close.

Lyla: We took on that hanging thing…
Emma: Tina, Ashlea, can I talk to you?
Joyce: *mock singing voice* Allianceee
Emma: No, I just want to talk.
*Emma, Tina, and Ashlea walk into the huts and start whispering*
Emma: Does anyone else get the impression that Lyla is so…immature?
Tina: Yep.
Ashlea: Kinda.
Emma: I think, like, we should make an alliance, just the three of us, to counter the Leah-Donna-Lyla thing.
Ashlea: I dunno…I’ll think about it.
Tina: What about Joyce? I’m pretty good friends with her.
Emma: I’m not sure if she’s strong enough to be in this alliance.
Ashlea: This isn’t an alliance for me, yet.
Emma: Well, just think about it, OK?
Ashlea: Ok.

GROUP THREE
Confessional-Erin: Right now, the three closest people are me(Erin!), Mikaela, and Justine. We are gonna be tight throughout this whole game.

Interview-Maye: My opinions on everyone…really nice. Josephina is a good friend but…she’s kind of getting…weirder. She is so…I don’t even know what the word is. But, I don’t think an alliance with her would be good at this point in the game. I know that Diana and Jacqueline seem close, and Erin, Mikaela, and Justine are definitely best friends aiming to weed out the competition but…It’s really too early to tell.

Confessional-Diana and Jacqueline: Diana: We are best friends. Jacqueline: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’re gonna DOMINATE this game, fo sho. Diana: Yeahh…Don’t do that. Jacqueline: Ok. Now we’re done. Byee! Diana: Yeah, let’s go now. *they get up and leave*

JD: Hey guys!
Everyone: Hey JD!
JD: Ready for your next mission?
Kasey: Yes!
Tina: Woo hoo!
Jacqueline: No…!
(author note: Those three people are in different groups, they can’t see or hear eachother so…yeah)
JD: Well, follow me, and you’ll see what you’ll be doing.
JD: As you can see, there’s a long rope attached to a heavy block of cement set in the sand. You will have to grab that rope, and keep as much pressure on it as possible, because if the pressure you exert on pulling it falls too low, the rope will detach from the cement block and you will fall back into the sand. The first three people from each group to fall backwards into the sand will be eliminated. Oh, and I have one more twist for you.
Everyone: *groans*
JD: Rise!
*walls rise out of the sand, separating the blocks.
JD: You will not be able to see how well everyone else is doing. Just hang on as long as possible and when the last person lets go, I will reveal who is eliminated. Everyone ready to begin?
Everyone: Yeah!

GROUP ONE
JD: On your marks…get set…go!
JD: One minute everyone!
Emily: *starts to struggle* I wonder if anyone has let go yet…
Kasey: *pulls back on her rope more*
Zoe: *grinds her teeth*
JD: Two minutes! Keep going! Do not give up!
JD: Three minutes!
JD: It’s been four minutes now!
Emily: Argh!
JD: Four and a half minutes!
*Emily’s rope suddenly detaches and she falls into the sand*
Emily: *sigh* Hope that was good enough…
Zoe: Argh! This is so hard!
Maria: *walks back a few steps*
Aimee: *leans backward, almost casually*
JD: It’s almost been six minutes!
*Sherry’s rope detaches and she falls*
*Zoe’s rope suddenly detaches and she falls down*
Zoe: Darnit!
JD: Seven minutes!
*Kasey falls*
*Alexa falls*
Maria: Grrr! Fight the pain, Maria, fight the pain!
Aimee: *sighs contentedly as she steps backward easily*
JD: It’s been twelve minutes now!
Emily: Dang, these people are tough.
Zoe: How is that possible?
Kasey: Ughh!
Maria: *finally lets go without even detaching her rope*
Maria: I give up…
JD: Fifteen minutes!
Aimee: This is so easy…!
JD: Seventeen minutes!
*suddenly the rope slips from Aimee’s fingers and she is out*
JD: Ok, everyone, step out from behind the walls and form a line in front of me. If I tell you you are eliminated, please step forward.
*everyone does as they are told*
JD: The first person eliminated in this mission is…Emily.
Emily: *sadly steps forward*
JD: The second person eliminated is…Sherry.
Sherry: *looks shocked and sad as she steps forward*
JD: And the last person eliminated from this mission is…Zoe.
Zoe: *turns to hug Alexa as she steps forward*
JD: The three of you, please grab your bags. You have been eliminated.

GROUP TWO
JD: On your marks…get set…go!
Donna: *looks calm and focused*
Lyla: *starts struggling almost immediately*
Ashlea: *takes a few steps backward*
Emma: I got this…I got this…I got this!
JD: Two minutes!
JD: Three minutes!
Joyce: *almost lets go but pulls the rope back sharply*
JD: Four minutes!
*Lyla’s rope detaches and she falls*
Lyla: Ugh!
JD: Five minutes now!
*Donna’s rope slips from her hands*
Donna: What the!
JD: It has now been six minutes!
Leah: Come on…I have to stay in…
Tina: Muscles…straining…
Leah: Think about Jennifer…Anna…Lyla…Donna…
*Leah’s rope detaches and she falls*
Leah: Oh no…
JD: Eight minutes!
Tina: I can’t do this anymore *lets go*
JD: It has now been nine minutes!
*Emma’s rope detaches and she falls*
JD: Eleven minutes!
Joyce: Man, this is so tough!
JD: Twelve minutes now!
*Joyce’s rope detaches*
JD: It has now been thirteen minutes!
*Ashlea’s rope detaches and she falls*
JD: Everyone, step out and line up in front of me. If you are eliminated, step forward.
JD: The first person eliminated…Lyla.
Lyla: *starts crying as she steps forward*
JD: The second person eliminated…Leah.
*Leah and Lyla hug*
JD: And the third person eliminated…is Donna.
*Donna, Leah, and Lyla start crying as they walk off to get their bags*
Emma: Wow…a whole alliance, eliminated.

GROUP THREE
JD: Ready…set…go!
Diana: WOAH, This is hard!
JD: It has been one minute!
*Diana’s rope detaches and she falls into the sand*
Diana: *sighs deeply*
JD: Five minutes now!
Josephina: I have this…
Mikaela: I wonder how Justine and Erin are doing!
Maye: I want some lemonade…and to stay in this game! *pulls harder*
JD: Six minutes!
Maye: It’s like 95 degrees…ouch…it’s so hot!
*Erin’s rope detaches and she falls*
Erin: Dangit! *kicks the sand*
JD: Seven minutes!
*Jacqueline’s rope suddenly detaches and she falls*
JD: Ten minutes now!
JD: Twelve minutes!
Mikaela: This is getting kind of hard… *her rope detaches and she falls*
Mikaela: *looks at the ground*
JD: Thirteen minutes!
Josephina: I give up. It’s too hard. *drops her rope*
JD: Fourteen minutes!
Justine: *leans back as far as possible*
Justine: *her fingers slip from the rope*
Justine: OH MY GOSH I HAD THAT! *throws sand angrily in the air*
JD: Eighteen minutes!
Maye: Lemonade! Lemonade! Oh how I love that wonderful yellow liquid! LEMONADE! Lemonade! I want some lemonade! Lemonade and cookies-Woah!
*Maye’s rope detaches and she falls*
JD: Everyone, step out and form a line. If I tell you you are eliminated, please step forward.
JD: The first person eliminated is…Diana.
Diana: No surprise there, I guess…*steps forward*
JD: The second person…Erin.
*Mikaela and Justine quickly hug their friend before she steps forward*
JD: And the last person eliminated is…Jacqueline.
*Jacqueline steps forward and shoots a sad glance at Diana*
JD: Please grab your bags. You have been eliminated.

Last time on Survival of the Fittest!
The groups started forming alliances and friendships, and also enemies
They competed in their second challenge
Where nine people went home.

Today, the groups will be reunited, and then two more people will be eliminated. The final ten will then battle it out to see who is the SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST champion!

*JD is standing in front of a balance beam. The three groups of four walk out in front of him, led by chaperones, from different points. They look eagerly at the other groups to see who’s remaining and who left.*
JD: I guess it’s great to see eachother, right?
Everyone: Yeah!
JD: Alexa, is there anyone close to you that is in another group or has been eliminated?
Alexa: Before we got put into groups, I was friends with Emma, and Zoe was my best friend.
JD: Anyone else?
*Everyone raises their hands*
JD: I know you all miss your friends, but the only way to get through this competition is to outlast them. Anyway, here’s the mission. One at a time, you will walk on those balance beams. If you fall, quickly jump back on at the spot you fell. You must complete three laps. One lap is going out and coming back. When you are done with three laps, you must reach over the bar and press the button on the timer. You must show a chaperone your time, then walk into the tent with your group number on it. Once everyone has gone, I will reveal who has been eliminated and who is staying. Is everyone ready?
Everyone: YEAH!
JD: Kasey, you’re up first.
Kasey: I saw that coming!
JD: Get into position.

JD: Three…two…one…go!
*Kasey takes off like an arrow*
JD: Half a lap!
*she falls but quickly jumps back on, only to fall a second later*
Aimee: Come on, Kasey! You got this!
Kasey: I’m OK!
JD: She has now completed one lap!
*She quickly finishes her laps and presses the button*
Kasey: See yall after the mission! *goes inside the tent*

JD: Emma, you’re up!
Emma: What?! What about, like…Aimee or someone?!
JD: Nope, it’s you!
Emma: I’m so gonna do bad…

JD: Three…two…one…go!
Tina: GO EMMA YOU GOT THIS EMMA YOU’RE DOING GREAT GO EMMA!
JD: Emma is having a tough time! She has not even completed half a lap!
JD: She just made half!
Emma: *turns around and walk a few steps, then dives for the end*
JD: One lap!
*Emma painstakingly falls many times but eventually reaches three laps and goes into the group two tent*

JD: Who’s next? How about…Maye?
Maye: What? No!
JD: What? Yes! You’re up, Maye.

JD: Three…two…one…go!
*Maye rushes along the beam but at the end she falls*
JD: Maye just had a big fall! But she’s climbed back on and is racing back!
*Maye finishes the laps with only a few minor slips and goes into the group three tent*

JD: I think…Tina should go next.
Tina: Oh dear.
Joyce and Ashlea: *laugh*

JD: Three…two…one…Go!
*Tina starts off strong but she tries to rush and falls many times, some of them painfully. After nearly giving up on her second lap, she presses the timer and goes into the group two tent*
Emma: Hey Tina!
Tina: Hey Emma. What was your time?
Emma: Just over a minute. You?
Tina: Five seconds faster.

JD: Hmm…How about…Justine?
Justine: Bring it on.

JD: Three…two…one…GO!
*Justine races through the laps in record time, nearly sprinting. She presses the button, shows it to the chaperone, and goes into the group three tent*
Maye: Hi Justine…
Justine: Hey.

JD: I will choose…Alexa.
Alexa: Yay!
JD: You seem excited!
Alexa: This looks fun!
JD: We’ll see about that…

JD: Three…two…one…Go!
*Alexa makes the first lap only slipping twice, but in the second lap she has a few hard falls. In the third lap, she falls and doesn’t get up for a few seconds, but continues and finishes. She joins Kasey in the group one tent*
Alexa: That was soo hard…
Kasey: Tell me about it! I hope we made it, and Aimee does good.
Alexa: Definitely.

JD: Next, I think I will do…Joyce.
Joyce: Oh no…Pick someone else. Please?
JD: Nope! It’s your turn.
Joyce: *groans*

JD: Three…two…one…Go!
*Joyce struggles to complete one lap*
Ashlea: Go Joyce!
Joyce: This is really challenging…*falls again*
JD: Joyce is having some trouble!
*she soon finishes and goes into the group two hut*
Emma: Hey Joyce!
Tina: What’s up? How’d you do?
Joyce: Not so good…55 seconds.
Tina: How many milliseconds?
Joyce: Don’t remember, don’t care.

JD: Hmm…Mikaela. You’d do well, right?
Mikaela: Well, I’m hoping…
JD: Well, we’re about to see, because you’re next.
Mikaela: I’m ready.

JD: Three…two…one...Go!
*Mikaela only falls once or twice as she does the laps quickly but carefully. She tells the chaperone her time and goes into the group three tent*
Maye: Man, this tent is small…there’s only room for like…four people.
Justine: And my head touches the ceiling-Oh, hey, Mikaela.
Mikaela: Hey, guys. I did pretty well.
Maye: I hope we all make it.
Mikaela: I do too.

JD: Hmm…Only 4 people left. Maria? You’re up.
Maria: Great…

JD: Three…two…one...Go!
*Little Maria almost dances across the beams as quick as she can. She finishes in record time but has trouble pressing the button because of her height. Finally she shows it to the chaperone and joins Kasey and Alexa in the first tent*
Alexa: Hey, Maria, how’d it go?
Maria: Pretty well
Kasey: That’s good

JD: Josephina, I think this turn is just calling you. You’re up.
Josephina: Wow…

JD: Three…two…one…Go!
*Josephina starts off slow but steadily goes through her laps. She has a little trouble at the end but makes it OK without any major falls. She goes into the crowded group three tent*
Maye: Josephina! How’d you do?
Josephina: 38 seconds
Justine: Aw, you lost in this group. Maye got 35, I got 25, and Mikaela got 26.
Maye: I’m sure you’ll still make it, though.
Josephina: *frowns*

JD: Ashlea…you’re up.
Ashlea: *nods*

JD: Three…two…one…Go!
Aimee: *sighs*
*Ashlea only falls a few times and finishes relatively quickly, looking somewhat happy. She joins Emma, Tina, and Joyce in the group two tent.*
Emma: Hey Ashlea!
Tina: Ashlea!
Joyce: What score did you get?
Ashlea: 36 seconds.
*Joyce glances at Tina and Emma and whispers to Ashlea*
Joyce: They think they’re going home…
Ashlea: Of course yall aren’t going home.
Emma: Thanks…

JD: So…Aimee. You’re the last one. Is that an advantage or a disadvantage?
Aimee: An advantage because I’ve seen how everyone else did and I can match that and push myself to beat them.
JD: Well, we’ll see what it is, because you’re up.
Aimee: Yep.

JD: Three…two…one…GO!
*Aimee tries to rush but ends up falling a few times. She finally reaches the button and tells the chaperone, then heads into the group one tent*
Kasey: Aimee! That took a long time!
Aimee: I was the last person
Alexa: JD should be calling us out soon.
JD’s voice: Come out everyone!
Maria: Yep, there he is.
*the twelve contestants walk out of the cramped tents and stretch*

JD: Hey everyone. As you can see, there are 10 circles in the sand and two off to the side. I will say your time one by one, and you will take your place in the circle you belong. When I say a time, the two people that will have the person in between them will raise their hands and the person with that time will go between them, bumping everyone below them back one space. Kasey, you’re up first. Your time is 42:96. Take your place in the first circle.

Maria: “All the groups have come together, but some of us aren’t coexisting peacefully. We’re all wary of the other groups. Alliances are strictly to the group they were in. It’s crazy. I know Kasey, Aimee, and Alexa don’t want me, so I’m basically an outcast.”

Maye: “Things have been pretty weird. Right now we speculate that Kasey, Aimee, and Alexa have an alliance. Maybe Ashlea and Josephina. They’re the wild cards, no one knows them very well. Mikaela and Justine are super good friends. That leaves me, Joyce, and Maria. We are considered to be the ‘weak’ people. I know that I’m not weak. But I do know that not a lot of people trust me, and I don’t trust them. Basically you can’t trust anyone unless you have a solid alliance with them.”

JD: Hey, guys. Welcome to your first mission in the top 10. Today’s mission is really important. One of you is going home tonight. Here’s how this game works. Every day we will have a mission. The two people who get last place in the mission will be put up for elimination. They will have the whole afternoon to pack their bags, say their goodbyes, and try to get people to vote for the other person. Yes, that’s right, vote. Because at every sunset, we will go sit around the campfire, discuss the days events, then the people who are safe will vote for someone to go home. The person with the most votes will be eliminated and will leave immediately. This game isn’t about coming in first. It’s about not coming in last. As more and more people are eliminated, it will be harder and harder to keep yourself out of the bottom two. Ready to know what the first mission is?
Everyone: YES!
JD: This will be a quick one. All you have to do is run down this flight of stairs. You must touch the ground with your foot, then turn around and run all the way back up. You will do this one at a time and your scores will be recorded. The two people with the longest times will be put up for elimination and one of them is going home tonight. Everyone ready?

JD: There’s a specific order to this game. It’s Kasey, Aimee, Alexa, Maria, Joyce, Ashlea, Josephina, Mikaela, Justine, and Maye. Kasey will go first, then Aimee, then etc. In the next mission, Aimee will start. In the mission after that, it’ll be Alexa. See where I’m going?

*Kasey rushes down the stairs and quickly turns around and runs back up*

Alexa: “I really hope Mikaela goes home tonight, but the alliance isn’t set on either one yet. Maria’s a nice person so I hope she stays.”

Joyce: “*sighs* This is definitely a toughie. On one hand, Maria isn’t very social and Mikaela is. On the other, Mikaela is stronger and has a strong alliance.”

Ashlea: “I’m keeping my decision to myself. I have my mind made up already. I’m not letting anyone change it.”

Josephina: “Honestly I don’t think anyone cares about my vote. No one has walked up to me and tried to persuade me to vote this way or that.”

JD: Welcome to today’s mission. Tonight, someone else will be voted out. But it all depends on how well you in this mission. Today’s mission will take a lot of brains. Out there in the sand, there are nine giant puzzle boards with almost 75 pieces each. In order to finish this mission, you must put the pieces in an order so that it spells out a word and in the background, a picture. When you think you have finished, you must run over here and grab a flag. I will then look at your puzzle to see if it’s correct. If it is, then you have successfully completed the mission and you must go stand by your puzzle again. If it isn’t you will have to put your flag back in the flaghole, and try to figure out the correct way the pieces go. Like always, the last two to complete this mission will be put up for elimination.

Confessional-Maye: Last night…we all eliminated Josephina…and it was kind of sad, because we all went against her, even me I regret to say because I was her best friend, and when she left…it was the first time we had seen her mad at all. It was so sad. But now I’m trying to make up for it…but of course, the alliance with Joyce and Maria is still on.

Interview-Ashlea: I do think that voting out Josephina was the right choice. She couldn’t be trusted and she caused tension. Joyce isn’t much stronger than Josephina was, so it’s no loss for us.

JD: Last night you voted out another person. Tell me what it was like, Maye
Maye: It was horrible! We all made a pact to vote out Josephina…And when she left, she was just so mad…
JD: Do you think that could happen again?
Maye: I promised myself it’s not the right way to play the game and I’m not going to take part in it if it happens again.
JD: Kasey, who’s idea was this?
Kasey: *laughs* It was…mine. Yeah, I admit it.
JD: Why’d you do it?
Kasey: Well, Josephina caused a lot of tension in the camp and I think we would all be happier if she was gone.
JD: Well, today we have another mission. And, once again, another person will be voted off tonight. Today’s mission will combine both mental strength and speed. Once again, you will be separated by walls. When I say go, 10 colored flags will rise up on the other side of the beach. Memorize them very quickly, because in 5 seconds, they will go down and be hidden from view. Then, you must run out through the obstacle course and grab the ten colored balls that correspond with the colored flags, and then run back to one of these circles with a platform with ten holes in it in front of it. You must put the balls in the correct order in the holes, then pull that rope and raise your flag. The last two people to raise their flag will be put up for elimination. Is everyone ready?
Everyone: Yeah!

JD: Ready…set…go!
*everyone watches a moment as the flags go up, then rush out to get the colored balls*
JD: Kasey is first on her way back, followed quickly by Alexa!
*Kasey and Alexa keep reach the holes and quickly try to rearrange their balls as Ashlea, Aimee, and Justine rush back with their balls*
JD: It looks like Joyce, Maria, and Maye are lagging behind!
*Kasey quickly switches out a few balls*
Kasey: Done!
JD: Kasey, that’s correct.
*Kasey begins pulling her rope to make her flag rise*
JD: Kasey is quick! She has just finished, with Maria running back with her balls.
Justine: I’m done.
JD: Correct
Alexa: I’m done!
JD: Also correct
Maria: Is this right?
JD: No, Maria. Justine and Alexa are raising their flags, and Joyce is coming in with her balls. Maye is still picking them up. And Aimee, Maria, Joyce, and Ashlea are figuring out the puzzle.
Ashlea: Done!

*Maria shoots a glance at them*
JD: Both correct. Maye is now coming in with her balls.
JD: Justine now has her flag up, and so does Aimee. Ashlea and Alexa got it at the exact same time. Now it’s a battle between Maria, Joyce, and Maye!
*Maria huffs and continues trying random combinations*
*Joyce shakes her head and continues thinking*
*Maye looks frustrated and switches two balls*
Maria: I think I have it…
JD: That’s not correct, Maria.
Joyce: I got it! I got it!
JD: Joyce, that’s correct. Maria, Maye, you’re still in it because Joyce has to raise her flag. Keep going.

*Maye sighs and tries random combinations*

JD: That’s right Maria! Maye is the only one not done with the combination.
Alexa: Come on, Maye!
*Joyce is having trouble with the flag, but Maria is pulling steadily*

Maria: Good, then I can win this! *pulls harder*
Joyce: Hold on…*goes to where the rope is and starts to untangle it*

Interview-Kasey: I won the mission and I had the tiebreaking vote and it was SO much harder than I thought! I was thinking “I’m about to send someone home!” I chose Maye as we, the alliance, decided…It was still really tough

Confessional-Joyce: You go into these reality shows thinking everyone’s gonna be friends off-camera, but that’s not true. We’re not friends. We can just stand eachother enough to the point we don’t get into nonstop fights, but the only person I’m really close to is Maria! Kasey, Aimee, and Alexa keep to themselves and exclude everyone else, Justine is…well, Justine, Ashlea is just kind of weird…The point is, there’s no bond forming here.

JD: In today’s mission, the three people on each team will be tied together by a rope. Together, you must navigate this obstacle course. The last place team will have to unanimously decide which person they are putting up for elimination. Ashlea, even though you’re not competing and you’re going to be up for elimination tonight, you do have control over this game. You are the person who will decide the teams.
Ashlea: Ooh…power.
JD: Ashlea, I’ll give you a minute to decide.
Ashlea: Hm….ok I’m ready.
JD: Who will be on one team?
Ashlea: Kasey, Aimee, and Maria. And on the other is Joyce, Justine, and Alexa.
JD: Ok, one team is Kasey, Aimee, and Maria, and the other is Joyce, Justine, and Alexa. Follow me and I’ll tell you what to do.

JD: Now you are tied together. You must run over to those tires and then you must weave in and out of those poles. Then run up and down those stairs. Then, do the monkey bars. Then, you have a slippery swath of ground and you must try to carefully walk, or just go slip and slide style, across that. After that, climb the rope ladder, walk across the platform, then climb back down, where you’ll see a flag. Grab that flag and run down the path until you see me and the flagpole. You will then untie yourselves and one person will raise the flag. The first team to raise their flag will be safe. Everyone ready?
Everyone: Yeah!
JD: On one side, Kasey is leading, and on the other, Justine is leading. On your marks…get set…go!
*they take off*
JD: Kasey’s team reaches the tires first, but they’re just dragging Maria! Justine’s team is catching up really quickly, everyone working in unison.
Kasey: Come on, Maria, you’ve got to move faster!
JD: Justine’s team is almost done with the weaving poles but Kasey’s has just started! It’s still anyone’s game though!
JD: Justine’s team is on a roll! Kasey’s team is starting to catch up, though!
JD: Justine’s team is having trouble with the monkey bars and now Kasey’s team is tied! Oh, Maria just slipped off her bar, and she’s hanging by the rope!
Maria: Help me!
Aimee: Kasey, got a good hold?
Kasey: Yeah
Aimee: Grab my hand, Maria *Aimee helps Maria back up to the bar*
JD: That fall just cost Kasey’s team the lead! Justine’s team is just sliding across the slippery ground, on their bellies!
Ashlea: That looks so fun!
Alexa: It is!
JD: Now they’re the ones dragging someone! Joyce is having some trouble sliding, but Justine and Alexa are pulling across the ground! But she’s just thrilled! Kasey’s team dives headfirst, catching up quickly!
JD: Kasey’s team has now taken the lead, but Justine’s team is right behind them! Both are climbing the ladder, but Maria just slipped off a rung!
Aimee: What the heck, Maria!
JD: Justine’s team racing across to the other side! They’re almost to their flag. Kasey’s team isn’t that far behind!
JD: Justine’s team has their flag and they’re running really fast down the path! Kasey’s team now has theirs and they’re also off!
JD: Justine’s team has reached the flag, but Kasey’s team is only second’s behind! They’re untying themselves!
JD: Both the teams are dead even right now!
Justine: Come on, go go go
JD: Justine’s team is already pulling their flag up but Kasey’s team is right behind!

*she finally touches the checkpoint and runs back up the stairs*

JD: Aimee, you’re up. On your marks…get set…go!
*Aimee runs down very quickly, and runs to all the checkpoints.*
Alexa: WOO! Go Aimee!
*She stumbles as she starts up the stairs but quickly makes it all the way up*

JD: Alexa, it’s your turn. On your marks…get set…go!
*Alexa runs down and quickly touches the first checkpoint*
JD: Alexa is running fast!
*She falls as she leaves the second one*
Aimee: COME ON, ALEXA!
*She gets back up and touches the third one, then runs back up the stairs*

JD: Maria, you’re last…get ready.
Maria: Saving the best for last.
JD: On your marks…get set…go!
*Maria takes the stairs down three at a time and speeds through the checkpoints, coming slower up the stairs*

JD: We have the times. The person with the slowest time was…Joyce.
*Joyce covers her face with her hands*
JD: Joining Joyce tonight will be…….Kasey.
*Aimee and Alexa’s mouths drop open*
*Kasey looks very nervous*
*Justine looks surprised but very happy*

JD: You have all afternoon to pack and say goodbye to everyone. For one of you, your journey ends here.

Confessional-Joyce: Tonight…I’m up for elimination. And I have a good feeling I’m going home…because Alexa and Aimee are voting for me. I’m sure of it.

Confessional-Justine: YES! Tonight, we weaken the alliance!

Confessional-Maria: Justine wants to get rid of Kasey tonight, and I agree. I’d much rather Aimee, but if it weakens their alliance, then so be it.

Confessional-Aimee: Tonight is the first night one of us, in the alliance, is up for elimination…The votes are basically split between the camp so it all depends on who won the mission

Joyce: This is so mean! *cries*
Justine: *hugs Joyce* It’s part of the game…you’re not going home tonight
Aimee: Yes she is
Maria: Shut up Aimee! Don’t you have any sympathy, or a heart in that hollow chest of yours!
Aimee: No, I don’t! I’m a cruel and heartless person! *sarcastic*
Maria: Yeah, I know!
Joyce: You guys…don’t fight
Aimee: *walks up to Maria and leans over the shorter girl*
Maria: *grimaces* Brush your teeth, loser!
Aimee: *grabs Maria’s notebook and throws it out the window*
Maria: Hey, those are my sketches!
Justine: I’ll get it *goes outside*
Aimee: You’re lucky you’re not up for elimination tonight!
Maria: Same for you! Anyway, you just screwed the game for Kasey! Basically, you just sent your friend home!
Aimee: The votes are SPLIT! Either me or Alexa won the mission so we’re gonna send Joyce home!
Maria: Ha! You? Win the mission? I’ve never heard anything so absurd!
Aimee: You should say that about yourself! You’ve been up for elimination THREE TIMES. And Justine sucked today! She didn’t know where to go!
Maria: Get out of my face!
Aimee: You get out of mine!
Maria: Fine, I will! *storms off*
Aimee: *stomps off*
Joyce: …Wow.

Confessional-Kasey: Tonight I may be going home, and it’s really sad to think that. The friend I’ve made here are so wonderful. I’m not done with this experience yet. I’ve come here to win.

Confessional-Joyce: I can’t believe…it could be all over tonight. This has been…so amazing. If I go home tonight…I don’t even know what I’ll do.

JD: Welcome to the fifth elimination. After tonight, only five people will remain. Joyce, Kasey, please go sit on those rocks over there.
*they head over to the rocks and sit down*
JD: Tonight, the four of you on my left will vote for one of the two people on my right to go home. The person with the highest votes will be eliminated and will go home immediately. Aimee, you got first in the mission, so you will vote first.
*Aimee shoots a smug look at Maria, who scowls. Joyce looks deathly nervous*

*Aimee votes*
*Joyce breathes a shaky breath*
*Maria votes* I really hope you go home tonight…
*Kasey plays with her finger*

*Joyce nods her head and licks her lips*
*Justine votes* It’s FINALLY your turn to go! FINALLY!
*Kasey glances at Aimee and Alexa while Joyce looks close to tears*
JD: I’ll go get the votes.

JD: First vote…Joyce. Second vote…Joyce. Third vote…Kasey.
*Kasey closes her eyes*
JD: If this vote is for Joyce, she has been voted out. If it’s for Kasey, we have a tie. The last vote is for…Kasey.
*Aimee smiles widely while Maria and Joyce look at eachother with horror in their eyes*
JD: Aimee, you got the fastest time in the mission. You have the tiebreaking vote. Once more, you have been equally divided among votes. Who will you choose to eliminate?
Aimee: I choose Joyce.
*Joyce starts to cry and Maria looks close to crying*
JD: Joyce, you have been voted out. Please grab your bags and head down that trail.
*Joyce grabs her stuff and heads down the trail sobbing*
JD: Once again, you still have been equally divided among voting. It seems there’s a rift. You might want to improve upon that rift soon. Tomorrow we will eliminate another person. Good night *gets up and walks off as the ending music*

The final six competed in a mission, where some people got confused and others just got tired
Kasey and Joyce had the slowest times, and Maria and Aimee got into a confrontation about the upcoming elimination
It was a tied vote, and Aimee, the winner of the challenge, sent Joyce home

Interview-Kasey: Ever since last night, Aimee and Maria have NOT been getting along…at all.

Interview-Justine: Ha, Aimee and Maria…after the fight, they’re all like “Blah I hate you” “I hate you more” “I hate you most”. It’s so immature. But, I do need Maria on my side to get rid of the alliance. They’ve lasted way too long in this game. The only way I can secure a spot in the finals is if one of them goes home today.

Confessional-Maria: Aimee is just so…ugh. Heartless. She really needs to go home.

Justine: Maria, you have to work triple as hard today to keep yourself out of elimination, we need to get two of the others to be put up for elimination, it’s the only way either of us have a chance at winning, trust me.

Interview-Maria: Well, teaming up with Justine is a really smart move at this point in the game. I know she’s going to push me to keep me out of the bottom two, so I just really hope it works.

Interview-Justine: My strategy is all laid out. It all comes down to Maria though. That’s the part I’m worrying about. She needs to keep herself out of the bottom two definitely for this round and probably for the next one too.

Interview-Kasey: I do think that Maria and Justine have teamed up against me, Alexa, and Aimee, but I do hope that we are able to extinguish their alliance.

Confessional-Alexa: Justine and Maria…definitely no match for us.

Confessional-Aimee: Justine and Maria are going DOWN!

JD: Hey, guys. Today is another mission. And it’s a crucial one. Only three people will be safe tonight. You will have to give it your all to avoid being eliminated. Maria, are you at all worried you might be up for elimination tonight?
Maria: Yeah. But I’m going to really try and keep myself safe.
JD: Now, Kasey, Aimee, Alexa. You’ve had an alliance since the beginning and here we are, in the final five, alliance still intact. Justine has never been in the bottom two before. Are you worried that one of your alliance is going home tonight?
Kasey: No.
JD: Why not?
Kasey: *laughs* This sounds really mean, but we’re counting on Maria being put up for elimination.
Maria: That’s harsh *frowns*
JD: You can’t really count on anything in this game. Maria is really determined to keep herself safe, and Justine has never been in the bottom two before. How will you handle that?
Aimee: There’s a first time for everything.
Justine: Including Aimee and Alexa been in the bottom two.
JD: Ok, well, today’s mission is one I think you’ll enjoy. You’ll see in a moment. Follow me. *walks off with everyone following*

JD: Today you will be jumping over different obstacles. Here’s how it will work. In round one, you will only have one bar to jump over. In round two, you will have another bar, making you jump an extra few inches each time. If at any time you fail to jump the full length, you will be taken out of the challenge. The first two people to fail in a round will be put up for elimination. We will play until we have a single winner.

*Justine easily pops over the first jump*
*Kasey takes a running start and clears it with inches to spare*
*Aimee quickly jumps over it*
*Alexa nearly steps over it*
*Maria easily jumps over it*

JD: We’re adding a second bar, which is another few inches to clear, horizontal-wise.
(author note: the bars aren’t adding to the height, they’re adding to the length. Understand?)

*Justine easily jumps over it*
*Kasey takes a running start and jumps over it*
*Aimee jumps over it*
*Alexa jumps easily over it*
*Maria jumps over it as quickly as possible*

JD: Another bar is added…more length for them to jump over.

*Justine easily jumps over the now-medium length jump*

*Aimee seems daunted but determined and jumps over it*

*Maria takes a running start and pushes off with all her might, but her foot gets caught on a bar and she falls*
Justine: NOOOO! MARIA!!!
JD: Maria is the first person out in this challenge…she is going to be put up for elimination tonight.

Confessional-Maria: At that point I knew that I was going home unless Justine lost too…which was unlikely.

JD: Now we have an extra few inches…it’s now nearly three feet they have to jump over.

*Justine easily jumps over it*
*Kasey runs and clears it*
*Aimee runs and tries to clear it…but she can’t jump that far, and lands just to the side of the bars*
*Alexa jumps over it quickly*

JD: Aimee and Maria are going up for elimination tonight! We will keep playing till we have a winner!
Maria: No! Oh my gosh!
JD: Now it’s really getting tough to jump over…Another bar has been added!

*Justine runs and takes off as far as she can, but she falls on the bars*
*Kasey runs and jumps over it, barely making it*
*Alexa jumps over it*

JD: It’s now down to Alexa and Kasey! Another bar has been added…this could be the final round!

*Kasey runs and takes off…..but doesn’t make it*

JD: If Alexa makes it, she is the winner of this challenge!

*Alexa takes off running and jumps and…….she clears it!*

JD: We have a winner! Alexa! Aimee and Maria are going up for elimination tonight. You have all afternoon to pack and say good-bye. I’ll see you tonight *walks off*

Justine: Dude, Maria…
Maria: I’m…
Justine: Just don’t talk…
*they walk back to camp*

Interview-Justine: Today’s mission involved jumping over this really long thing…I made third place but Maria, who REALLY needed to win, she was out in the THIRD round! I’m just fuming…Now I know I have, like, a 5% chance of winning this whole thing…

Interview-Maria: Justine is really mad at me. It wasn’t my fault! I’m too short to jump that far!

Interview-Kasey: Today’s mission involved jumping and Aimee ending up losing. She’s safe though because me and Alexa are definitely voting for Maria, and two votes beats Justine’s one vote.

Confessional-Alexa: I won. I won the mission. Uh-huh. Go me. I woooon. I wooon the mission. That’s, what? The third of fourth I’ve won?

Maria: Dude, packing up for the fourth time…
Aimee: It could be your last.
Maria: *smirks* Hopefully not.
Aimee: Well…
Maria: Yeah, I know. No need to tell me.

Confessional-Maria: *a few tears stream down her face* In the beginning of this game…me, Kasey, and all them, we were actually really close, but now we’ve all drifted apart, and it’s only just hit me that I have a good chance, a really good chance, of going home tonight and never seeing these people again…I’ve grown so close to them, done so much…it’s just…so sad. I don’t think I can bear it.

Alexa: Yeah?
Justine: Don’t tell anyone…but…I think you should vote out Aimee.
Alexa: Oh, don’t start being ridiculous again with your little “you should vote out so-and-so”
Justine: I’m serious! Aimee is really strong, I bet if it came down to the final three and you were up for elimination with Kasey, Aimee would vote for you.
Alexa: I’m not voting for Aimee, sorry.

Interview-Alexa: Justine usually talks nonsense, but she brought up a good point. Aimee and Kasey are closer to eachother than to me because at the beginning I was hanging out with Zoe, and if Aimee had to choose between either me or Kasey to go home, she would choose me.

Interview-Kasey: Justine is always scheming, trying to get things to go her way. She really needs to go home. I would much rather she go home than Maria, even though Aimee and Maria have had their share of problems recently.

JD: You have just eliminated someone who has avoided elimination this whole time. Get some rest and be ready for tomorrow. It’s one of the most crucial missions yet. Good night *stands up and walks away as ending music plays*
