Where Endurance is now
As of right now Endurance is On Hold. This probably means that there is a possibly of an E7 being made sometime in the future. If they where sure that they would never have a new season they would cancel Endurance. Lets not give up hope. Beauty and the Geek
(another 3 ball show) was put On Hold around the same time as Endurance and they said there was little chance of it returning and if it did it wouldn‘t be soon, guess what it did come back so we know that there is a possibility of an Endurance 7. We have made an impact on Discovery. Originally they where planning to cancel Endurance but then they put in On Hold. In the coming months they will decide if to have an Endurance in 2009! Lets try to make a big impact now and see if we can get an E7!
To clarify this is where people stand.
3 Ball
3 Ball wants Endurance back more than anything. They are totally on our side. Everything that people have sent to 3 Ball. 3 Ball has sent on to DK.
I know that some people think that because of Opportunity Knocks JD’s new show that JD Roth could not do an E7. This is NOT true JD has hosted multiple shows at once multiple times. On top of that Opportunity Knocks has been cancelled all ready. Also by the way JD talks about Endurance it sounds like he really likes to do Endurance.
Discovery Kids and Discovery
A common misconception is that Discovery Kids caused Endurance to be On Hold. This is NOT true. Jade’s mom talked to the president of Discovery Kids and she said that they really want Endurance to continue and they have been sending everything up to Discovery. They say that they haven’t gotten much of a response but Discovery says that they reason that they cut funding for Endurance and put it On Hold is because it costs a lot to produce. I looked at the Discovery website an it said that Discovery is doing very well now financially (better than a year ago). There is some more hope!
How we should do it
I know that a lot of people think that anything but petitions and letters would annoy Discovery, like calling a lot. I really don’t think that this is true. There was this show Jericho that got cancelled and fans managed to save it. The sent tons of letters, Sent an huge petition, sent tons of emails to CBS, called CBS in 2 days 200 times all to tell them how much they wanted Jericho back. To top it all off delivered 20 tons of nuts to CBS to show how much they wanted Jericho back. CBS probably found some of that annoying but see what happened, It worked. I think that we should do stuff like that. Also they got Jericho back after it was cancelled guess what Endurance isn’t even cancelled!

We should send as many letters as possible. The more letters we send the more impact we will have.
What you should talk about in your letter
-How much you like Endurance
-If you have watched for a long time say how long you have watched
-How many people like Endurance
-Tell how Endurance fans are sort of like a family
-How much you and so many other people want to try out for E7
-Tell how many people have waited years to get a shot just to audition
-Tell how many fans want a chance to try out again but will be too old if Endurance is put On Hold any longer
-Ask how Discovery how they would feel if the situation was reversed
-Say you don’t watch DK as much now or you don’t watch it at all.
-Say that Endurance has a very loyal fans and fans will watch E7
-Say that 3 ball really likes to produce Endurance and they want it back more that anything
-Tell how much your quality of life has been effected by no E7
-An anything else you think would be good to put in.
Everyone should write more than just 1 letter to Discovery. It will help if more letters are sent. With Jericho many fans sent 4 or 5 letters a piece. Also in each letter talk about a few of the things listed above and elaborate on them. I think that I would look better if you sent 3 short letters rather than one long letter.

Calling Discovery
Like I said earlier I really think that calling Discovery a lot will help
When to call
It is important to call on weekdays during preferably during late morning. That is when you will probably have the best shot of talking to someone. Also if you call on holidays or weekends you probably won’t get someone.
How to call
First dial (240) 662-2000. Wait for it to ring and start going thorough the recording then you have 3 choices of what to do. The first way is to press 0 for the operator. First you will here an very short add. Then it will ring. Someone will answer the phone tell them that you want to talk to someone who know something about Endurance. They will probably transfer you to the viewers relations urgent inquiries recording. If you get here wait for the recording to end and once you here the beep first say that you really want an Endurance 7 and you need to know if you guys are planning one. THEN this very IMPORTANT if you want to get a response say you full name and then your phone number. Remember to say the area code.
Here is another way. Do the same thing call the number and wait for it to start going through the recoding then press 9. Wait a second for it to start going to another recoding about the dial by name directory. Then dial 527526. It is important to dial it fast. Next you should hear Sarah Kaplan if you don’t hang up and start the whole process again. Once you hear Sarah Kaplan listen to the phone and its directions until you hear Marjorie Kaplan then press 1 to talk to her. She is the head of Discovery Kids. Simply tell her that you want and Endurance 7. You might now always get her if you don’t leave her a message. When leaving a message at Discovery leave your full name and phone number with area code. You can also talk to her assistant Roxy Minnow by going to the dial by name directory by pressing 9 and dial 7699 listen to the recording and press 1 to talk to her.
Also you can talk to David Zaslav’s secretary by going to the dial by name directory and dialing 927528. Listen to the recording and press 1 to talk to his secretary. David Zaslav is the head of Discovery. Just say you really want an E7 when calling.
When calling be an nice and polite and don’t scream at Discovery’s employees.
Going to Discovery
If anyone’s lives near Discovery they could go to Discovery. If you go simply go into Discovery and talk to the receptionist and say you want to talk to someone who knows if there will be an E7.
