If nobody (HBO Max, JD, Michelle) can't provide a reason why, then maybe...hopefully it was a simple goof. Hopefully it's nothing permanent or a sign of bad news.

Apparently, it's CONFIRMED that Karma is not coming back to HBO Max. My only question is......... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? Like this is actually upsetting. Like I'm actually confused. I hope GoodStory Entertainment works something out will HBO Max or even find another place to house the series.

I wonder if COVID-19 had a role. They would have filmed season two over (say) July and with the uncertainty over when things would have been safe to travel, maybe that was their decision.

I'm already seeing stuff this winter be postponed or canceled and that's when they would have had auditioning in full speed. Maybe they didn't think they could have filmed in 2021, which would have meant season two in 2022.

Well that certainly changes things. Hopefully they can clean things up (if the allegations are true) and then come back. I don't know who the alleged defendant is, but if it's not JD or Lilly, I'd hate for them to be taken down by association.

I think WM is Warner Media (The people behind HBO Max).
But if this were the case for Karma, then that would be pretty disappointing.
