This is literally a spoiler board for the finale episode but just in case, there are explicit winner spoilers in this post lol
I TOOOLLDD Y'ALLLL THAT PURPLE WAS THE TEAM TO STAN!!!! ABSOLUTE ICONS!!!
Okay but like I loved the way they did this finale. I definitely think it's preferable to Final Temple from Endurance, plus I LOVE the fact that they brought all the teams back for the final karma twist!

Honestly, I would rather have the medallion thing be the final mission and if you are gonna bring all the teams back, make them vote for a winner

If they determined the winner by a majority vote I think it would be far too similar to Survivor. I like what they did because it emphasized the importance of Karma without outright copying the Survivor format/relying on popularity rather than the teams' abilities
I prefer it as the finale to Final Temple because this one is at least based on mental skill rather than just wagering your luck and hoping for the best!

Jack shouldn't be reduced to a character, but it just insane how he ran strategic circles against everyone else. He definitely hammed up his strategic angle for confessionals. Literally, this entire show revolved around him and in the annals of Endurance and Karma combined, I'd easily place him as a top 10, maybe even top 5 player.

I will say, it's kind of strange that the final challenge came down to a rope untying contest as both teams already kinda knew the answer... Had red team been better at untying a not, all of Jack's dominance would have been for nothing :/ D other people agree?

Yeah I think they should have chosen a more... vague phrase than the literal mantra of the show? Lol. I was also thinking about that in regards to moving forward with future seasons, like, what phrases are they going to use now? I think it would've been a much more interesting final challenge if they had to figure out the word scramble on the spot

I loved the finale! YES PURPLE TEAMMMMMMMMMMM! Jack and Skyla really came a long way from Jack's return and Skyla's little hissy fit, to really coming together and winning the challenges that matter. The final Cave was honestly amazing, but I wonder, What would they do for the final Cave in seasons to come, because reusing the same sentence (WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND) would not be ideal, because people would already know what to expect. I loved how the teams came back for one last offering, that really pushed the idea the your actions in the past do affect your future. Other then the fact that the show had no intro (which I'm very salty about lol), I loved this pioneer season, and can't wait for seasons to come

I still think the Magic Pyramid was more fair and balanced compared to this puzzle. Seemed the whole game was done in a matter of minutes

But all the teams did feel very balanced compared to other seasons

But all the teams did feel very balanced compared to other seasons I'd have to disagree. I enjoyed the show and all, but I think Purple, specifically Jack got a lopsided edit (but he deserved all the screentime he got for sure). I felt like Red had virtually no story or edit built up going into the finale and I wished we got more of them

Especially Jack. Like he's for sure a legend and every reality tv show's dream contestant, but it felt like he was narrating the entire show from start to finish hahaha. When it came down to a Red v Purple final 2, I was super confident that Purple would win because the editing hadn't given us any real reason to root for Red over them

I agree that the final cave should have been unscrambling the phrase on the spot. Kind of strange that they got a few days to start figuring it out. Like they should have had to untie a key to unlock their medallion's and then figure out the phrase right then and there.

I guess they're going to have to start new phrases. I think next season will be a little different.

I finished the whole season in 1 day.. lmao. My favorite thing was that Jack at the start said he would be the Karma Champion and what happened. Purple team had a big comeback, Skyla losing her teammate getting Jack. Then having a breakdown to working together and winning! I wondered what they're going to spend on with their 50k.
