You guys don't like Squeeze Play?! Crazy, one of my favorites! xD
I like the concept, but I really don't like the execution. The triangle/pyramid structure felt forced onto the mission; I didn't feel that the way in which the triangle/pyramid resulted in contestants getting eliminated made much sense. In fact, I would have preferred seeing every contestant playing have to answer every question (even if they got them all wrong); it would have helped me to understand the group dynamics better. For that matter, I think there should have been more questions asked during the mission; maybe the best contestant on the winning team should have had to answer 10 questions correctly or at least enough such that every team in the game was the correct answer to at least one question (but probably not exactly six questions since then the answer to the last question might have been obvious as the only unnamed team). Finally, I'll always remember Squeeze Play as being one of the two missions (along with Balance Ball) where the Samadhi made a team completely sit out; the sit out Samadhi is my least favorite of all the typical Samadhis (by typical I mean all but the piece stealer in E3 and the partner switch in E5).
I typically like question-and-answer type challenges in Survivor (Fallen Comrades, Touchy Subjects, etc.); I just felt the way Endurance did question-and-answer in Squeeze Play wasn't the best.

Wow, I wasn't expecting yelling over End of the Rope. It's not my favorite mission for a combination of two factors. First, the challenge kind of felt a little bit less authentic than it might have otherwise because of the gloves the contestants got. I mean, I certainly wouldn't want the contestants to have a lot of rope burn and I know it took plenty of effort but there's just something a bit cooler about something like Pipedreams from E3, where they didn't give out any gloves. Second, End of the Rope felt a bit anticlimactic to me in that the contestants that ultimately fell were either shown doubting themselves the most before and at the beginning of the challenge, or slipping a bit before they fell, or both. The sudden drop outs in the E1, E2, E3, and E4 right to stay missions seemed much more unexpected. (To be fair, E5's Right to Stay also felt a bit anticlimactic in that it was pretty easy to tell who was going to get eliminated well before the mission was over, but many on this site have praised the E5 Right to Stay for it being unique among the Endurance right to stay missions, and I have to agree with that at least a little bit).
As for Fate Falls, the ways in which its incentives worked were weird. The whole setup was that the player that caught the last ball would end up being on the team that started with 2 pyramid pieces instead of 1. So a player catching a ball couldn't form her or his own team immediately, and they had to hope that their ideal partner would not be put on another team. That meant that everyone catching a ball had an incentive to immediately place the strong players who they did not want to be partners with on teams as fast as possible, and that resulted in the game seeming to get a bit less competitive as it went along. The last round went extremely fast because Max was so much taller than everyone else. Clearly it was good strategy by Max, but it wasn't the most fun or exciting mission to watch. For the record, I'm not going to say that the other partner selection missions were all that great, either - in fact, I'd say that as a group, the partner selection missions were weaker than the right to stay missions as a group, the endurance missions as a group, and the temple missions as a group.
At the end of the day, I'm happy to agree to disagree. I've already discussed this in the Fiji forum, but I still believe Island Hopping is superior to Fireball, even the E2 version.

Lol, I'm just playing. I'm not THAT passionate about End of the Rope. I just like it because it is an element of mind over matter, and pure "who wants it the most" rather than something that's based on skill (like E5 RTS), and also it gets points for me because it's not some type of hanging from a pole.
