I'M REALLY, REALLY EMOTIONAL THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY MORE OF THIS SERIES TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS! AND I APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS SO MUCH I'M GOING TO REPLY TO THEM INDIVIDUALLY <3 @amplify - Thank you for being such a consistent reader & for always offering your input!! You've encouraged me a lot while also giving me feedback from another perspective, which is something that's very much welcome. I wanted to make the finale a bit more back-and-forth initially, but was worried that the chapter was already SO long that I decided to cut it down. Probably should have listened to my gut on that one, but I'm glad you enjoyed it regardless! Also, I HAVE TOTALLY THOUGHT ABOUT WRITING A REUNION but I'm not sure where to start! Perhaps I will ponder over it and see if anything comes to me... thank you again for sticking with this series from start to finish. It really means a lot to me! @bryan - YOUR COMMENTS HAVE LITERALLY LIT UP MY LIFE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS SERIES, I SOOO APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR AMAZINGLY KIND WORDS and how you got SO into it and aahhh!!! It means the world to me that you got this attached to my fictional people omg. I'm very attached to them myself, so to see it pay off is the BEST! Sorry to bring you to tears but I'm also really glad it made such an impact!! Hahaha thank you so much (again) for your super enthusiastic support throughout this entire series!!!! <3

No promises, but the Word document exists At least that's something! Especially considering that's the closest we'll bet to new Endurance episodes haha.

So, I just read this entire game. (Sorry I wasn't a member of the forum when you first wrote it in 2016.) Also sorry that my thoughts below are a bit scattered - I'm just typing things as they come to me, mostly, so things are all over the place. I have a couple of questions below - if you don't feel like answering them/it's too much work to think back more than 3 years, that's fine. I was rooting for the Orange team to win! I thought it was great that Jackson gave Cassie the encouragement she needed to do better in the partner selection game! But then they didn't win much of anything after that, so I mean, I definitely understood why they didn't make it further.
Speaking of the partner selection game, it sounded exhausting! Going over walls and hurdles, and having to repeat if you fail to clear the hurdle...man, by the 7th time of doing that running as fast as you can, as a 13-, 14-, or 15- year old, ooof.
But in general, I really liked your missions. The auction was a fantastic idea! Two questions: 1) if Blue had kept the partner switch rather than withdrawing it, would they have had to use it on themselves, or on two other teams, or could they have given it to another team to use (like Ike/Taylor did giving it to Cameron/Aeriel in E5)? 2) if a team had picked up the man sitting out, would that team have had to sit out themselves, or could they have forced another team to sit out?
I also liked that the temple mission immediately after the auction was played for another piece. That was great advance planning on your part, and also it made a ton of sense, because Red having the immunity for that round might otherwise have had no reason to try to win if they didn't care which teams went to Temple - except they did of course need another piece.
Speaking of Red, Amy in particular really brought the drama this season! I didn't want them to win, but they definitely made their mark on the season. I thought it was a poor strategic move to give Gray the Samadhi at F3, though. With Gray having a guaranteed advantage at Temple due to the item they chose in the auction, Red really should have been trying to avoid going up to temple with Gray at all costs, because they'd always be starting that Temple with a huge disadvantage. So they should have given the Samadhi to Blue - it's not like they were ever great friends with Blue anyway. And by hopefully ensuring that Blue would lose, it would mean that either they (Red) would face Blue at the Temple, or Gray would face Blue.
Once Orange wasn't in the running anymore, I was happy with Gray winning. It was fun to see Kennedy bounce back from being last picked. And Ace managed to be a superfan without being overly dominant or annoying about everything he knew. Their secret alliance with Red was kind of surprising, but I did understand why they did what they did.
As for the other teams - I thought Blue was okay as the other member of the Orange/Gray alliance, although they did have a few questionable moments with Patrick's early side alliance with Logan on Purple and Erin's blowup with Amy (I mean, she was sort of justified but also should have just held it in). Green, they didn't seem much of a threat to win, without getting into any alliance. I was glad their showmance didn't dominate too much of the action, as showmances often seem to do. Yellow, they were a pretty strong team, I respected them for their mission wins, including their creativity in the keys/pole mission and lasting the longest in the auction. Purple, clearly they were not long for the game, maybe one of the worst crash-outs ever. I didn't really have much sympathy for either Lydia or Logan.
Back to the missions - I liked the maze, and how you used quite a few puzzles in general. I liked that in the superteams mission, the superteams could use any three players they wanted to run and any three players to do the puzzle, rather than forcing each team to have one player running and one player on the puzzle. And I absolutely LOVED the F3 Endurance mission at the Temple at night! I've always thought having things happen at night always adds to the drama so well, and some of my favorite challenges in Survivor were at night (like the time they had the challenge to shoot off fireworks in China). I wish that somehow we could have heard what all of the questions and answers were in that F3 Endurance mission, but I know that would have made the writing take forever.
Anyway, great job! This was fun to read even though I didn't get to experience it as it was going on!

Dude thanks so much for the comment! You made some good very points that I admittedly didn't even think about (such as Gray having that Temple advantage at final 3, and Red not wanting to go against that). Reading your opinions & feedback was awesome!! 1) I wouldn't have allowed them to make a different team to make the decision; it would've been up to Blue to finalize and announce the team switch. Otherwise, they could've switched themselves & one other team, or two other teams. 2) They would've had to be the team to sit out. That auction "prize" was actually a disadvantage, as JD said there would be
